Our Final Chapter

To all our family, friends, and customers,

Since our company’s start on November 25th of 2015 you’ve followed us through many chapters of our company’s life. From our humble roots as hole in the wall bar, to a bustling restaurant, you’ve been there and have seen us grown. Through these changes many of you have laughed with us, partied with us at festivals, and have just been an all around positive support force and community that till this day we have no idea what we did to deserve. Never the less, we are thankful for everyone of you and hope you’ll decide to follow us again into a new beginning.

After much debate, thought, and council we’ve decided it was time to write our final chapter and end our story with Thaliak’s Embrace. Our plots have run their course, our tables have been put away, our tumblr is changing, but do not worry all the fun and memories shall ALWAYS stay! The memories we made as Thaliak’s Embrace with all of you is still apart of us and thus will remain on this tumblr; as a shout out to our friends, a reminder of all the fun, and a reminder to us of where we’ve come from.

As we close the book on the Embrace though, we’ve decided to look through our library of thoughts and choose another. With this we would like to proudly introduce our new direction; The Archon Institute of Combat and Magics.

We’ve Moved!

Thaliak’s Embrace has relocated to a new housing area! While we enjoyed our time and home in the Lavender Beds, it wasn’t where our company was ICly suppose to be. After much debate, we lept at the chance to relocate ourselves into a more accurate location for us. With this in mind, we would like to take a moment to thank all our old nieghbors and all the people who gave us wonderful memories in the Lavender Beds!

With one chapter closed, we begin another in the Mists! With this being said, stay tuned for more updates on our new layout and new events!

📚  Twelve Oaks Book Club  📚

The Twelve Oaks Book Club is an informal bi-weekly gathering of people interested in reading, experiencing, and discussing books from various genres and styles. From fantasy to mystery, we hope to explore literary works new and old, both IC and OOC.

Who: Anyone interested in enjoying a great book! What: IC & OOC book reading & discussion Where: Lavender Beds, Ward 8, Plot 7, Room 3 When: Every 2nd & 4th Thursdays @ 10:30PM EST (Next meeting: September 28th)

But my character can’t read Eorzean! Since we’ll be reading aloud IC/listening along to an audio book OOC, everyone who is interested will be able to find a place in the book club! Perhaps it will encourage a character to take up lessons!

My character isn’t the book type/has no reason to be in a book club but I wanna still be involved! How can I? Only want to participate on an OOC level? That’s great! Just let us know that you’re there only to spectate and you’re more than welcome to simply listen and/or read along.

I can’t make every meeting! I’ll miss out on the story! We will only be reading/listening to ebooks/audio books that are freely available in the public domain, so you’ll easily be able to catch up in your own time between meetings. We’ll also be giving brief recaps of the story so far at each meeting, so everyone will be up to speed quickly!

Twelve Oaks Library is a community RP hub that hopes to foster roleplay of all types and flavors, not just the literary. Thank you all for your support and interest. Come by and see us! ♥
