“The epitome of a true empowered and artistic  woman.”
Tumblr media
 Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco-Escudero
I remember when I first saw Mrs. Love Marie in a movie called “Ang Tanging Ina ko.” the feeling of infatuation burst through me. I followed her shadows and I was baffled to know that she was also an artist. I just want to be like her. She’s done it all, being socialite, a philanthropist, an actress, a singer, an artist, a model and a TV personality.
If you’ve seen the movie “Crazy Rich Asians”, she is basically the real-life  Crazy Rich Asians. For someone like her, there’s no simply no better way of living. As she said, “We always have that one special moment that could be anything that changes our lives forever.” and that one special moment was when I saw her.
Nobody can slay life like her. Because, she have the backbone to face the cruel world and that’s what a true woman should be.

When I was in grade school I remember that when I draw, it is usually with a large flurry of paint, gesture, mark-making. It doesn’t matter sometimes what comes first so it is okay to just let loose with my hands.
Then there are those other times when you have to slow down.... and that is not a bad thing. Making an artwork is one such process. I have to slow down, look more, think more.
That has been the case with the last two artworks that I started on at the same time. One is still waiting for more judgment. While the other one is progressing to the point I can show it.
One more is the idea and feeling of being left behind always lingered in my mind. Whenever, I saw artist that are far more greater than me I’m always getting envy because I’m incapable of what they can do. Hence, I always tell myself that everybody has their own clock, everybody has their own pace, and everybody has their own time to shine.
