Dr. Segal studied both dentistry and art in Jerusalem. In 1980, he earned his degree in Dental Medicine from the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. While practicing dentistry in Jerusalem, he went on to study art photography at Bezalel Art Academy. This unique combination of dental medicine and art training makes Dr. Segal especially qualified to provide smiles to the people of Florham Park, NJ. Not only does he understand the health and science of dentistry, but he also understands the aesthetics of a smile in a way most other dentists do not. Dr. Segal believes there is no universally perfect smile. He knows that because everyone’s face is different – the shape, the skin tone, eye color, hair color, and so on – everyone’s ideal smile is different, too. In addition to his passion for dentistry, Dr. Segal enjoys painting and photography. In fact, you will find some of his original paintings and photographs on the walls at The Art of Smile. He also loves spending time with his wife and three children, traveling, listening to jazz, classical, and world music, and enjoying sports.
