Introduction

A playwright and Emanator of Enigmata who wants to make the world more like one of her shows (really taking the phrase "all the world's a stage" literally huh) She's revered for her storytelling and her status in high society as a patron of heros.

Personality

Eccentric and dramatic, Klio usually follows her heart over her head. She's very emotional and rarely seen being calm or serious. At worst, she's childish with a dangerous amount of power at her fingertips. At best, she's playful and happily uses her status to uplift others.

⭒› She was originally designed to be a Masked Fool who was Elio's sister, and her first design was purple and black instead of red, white, and gold

⭒› VERY picky with her food, she's very gourmet and dislikes processed food. Her favorite food is sweet crêpes, she likes how versatile they are.

⭒› Despite being powerful magically, she's a coward, squeamish, and bad at most kinds of physical combat. No wonder she gets other people to fight for her!

⭒› Her last name is Vittorio, meaning winner or conqueror. She picked it out for herself after seeing it on the inside cover of her book.

Okay, it's been kinda bugging me ever since I drew Klio, but what is the animal (or smtg) that is on her brooch/emblem?

I always thought it was a seahorse...

it's a cat silhouette like this one (i snagged this off pinterest, but couldn't find the og artist mb) but I dont like drawing it and its hard to get detail with smth that small so sometimes it turns into a squiggle TwT

There's a lot of cat theming with her! I did make a separate species for her, shes a grimalkin. Similar to how halovians have bird/angel traits, grimalkins have cat traits.

So as a result, Klio has eyes like a cat, is very agile and sneaky, is very nosy has excellent hearing, sharper claws/nails and teeth, ect ect.

ngl the ocs here are getting farther and farther away from hsr, I'm probably gonna make them my ocs who make cameos in hsr instead of like. full on hsr ocs.

Question about Klio:

How does she show-ify the world using her Enigmata powers? Are there any concrete examples?

I made a diagram to show the process! She uses a book that records history and a specific pen to edit what shows up. While not one-to-recreations, lots of her plays are based on or take inspiration from real events going so far as to use memoria to increase the immersion.

Edits to the book change people’s memory of the event. There are some exceptions to what she can change though! Exceptions include:

> Acheron, Nihility’s shadow obscures her and will sometimes warp and water-damage entire pages.

> Aventurine, Gaiathra Triclops’ protection means his past and what he says/does doesn’t show up. His trip to Nihility has only worsened things, smudging the words of people around him, but it's not as destructive as Acheron.

> Some Emanator's words are set in stone. Either their words cannot be altered or Klio doesn’t want to pick on someone her own size.

> Certain items created by the Guild or Genius Society can prevent alterations or at least show an outside observer what’s been changed. However, these are hard to come by and harder to manufacture.

> While rare, interference by Aeons or minor gods like Gaiathra can change what appears.

> She cannot reverse a death. She can attempt to keep someone alive or give them a miraculous recovery, but once they're gone she can't bring them back.

She does have powers outside of the book, but I’ll make a separate post detailing what she can do.

i am a firm believer that ocs are a reflection of the self in the way that every character you create has to hold some piece of you to really feel alive. sometimes this is why all your ocs have certain traits, sometimes this is why you can track your various issues and traumas all the way from middleschool to now based on what your ocs are like. this is a feature not a bug
