January 1st, 1977

The original Yatterman anime premieres. It is the second anime in the Time Bokan series. The series received a remake in 2008 and there was a live-action film made in 2009. In the 2008 remake, the voice actors for the villains are all the same returning cast. It is the last anime to be produced by Tatsuo Yoshida.
