First Impressions
Based on this requested prompt: Reader is friends with/related to Rossi in some way (niece/neighbor) and goes to visit Rossi at his house after he recently got in injured etc in the field. Rossi is looking after Jack for Hotch when he suddenly realizes something about the case so leaves Jack with reader etc. Jack finds out that reader teaches ASL for a living and Jack asks for her to teach him something and she asks what he wants to learn and it's along the lines of "you are my superhero dad, I love you". Aaron's reaction to meeting reader, having been ready to be angry or something bad to have happened but instantly liking and being attracted to her and his reaction to Jack signing to him.
Note: Loved everything about this request by the way. 🥰🥰
"Knock knock uncle!" you announced boisterously as you unlocked and opened the front door to your favorite relative's house. Him being your only uncle had nothing to do with that of course, you only liked him for his funny wit and cringy dad jokes.
"In here Gioia Mia!" his voice replied from the kitchen. Once you rounded the turn, you spotted him, dressed in a cooking apron, injured arm in a sling, trying to open a jar of tomatoes.
"Zio, you're gonna either drop the jar or hurt your arm again by doing that, let me help."
It wasn't until you went over to take the jar from him that you noticed a little boy no older than 6 sitting at the kitchen island, drawing on some scratch paper. You remembered your uncle occasionally mentioning watching his boss' kid from time to time but never actually got to meet him.
Smiling, you gave him a little wave when he looked up at you. "Hey, what's your name?"
"Jack," was all he said. He was polite but clearly shy. After opening the jar and handing it back to your uncle, you took a peek at what he was drawing.
"My name's Y/N. Rossi is my uncle. Whatchya drawing?"
Pulling his marker away, he slid the paper for you to see. "Superman."
You were honestly impressed with his artistic ability. From the flowing cape Superman wore to the big cartoon like letters that spelt out HERO he included, you knew he must be a very smart boy.
"Oh wow, that looks so good. I actually really like Batman," you told him, trying to relate.
"Batman is cool too." He didn't look you in the eyes when he said it, but there was a hint of a smile on his face as he went back to drawing. Turning your attention to your uncle, you watched him walking back and forth from the stove to the pantry, grabbing different spices and ingredients for whatever it was he was making. All while checking his phone every 2 seconds.
"Got a hot date?" you teased, taking a plum from the little fruit basket on the counter.
"Ha ha. No, I'm actually waiting for some very important details to a case the team is working on."
You squinted your eyes in suspicion, which he caught onto and huffed. "I'm not doing any strenuous activity fragolina, I'm just helping out where I can. I staying out of the field, I promise."
"Yeah, and you opening jars and cheffing it up in the kitchen like a madman isn't strenuous?"
He made at you to pass him the salt by your hand, which you handed over. "Not when you compare it to breaking down doors and arresting criminals."
You couldn't help but laugh a little at his dramatic comparison. "Yeah, ok Zio. When's the last time you broke down a door? Isn't that the job for that Morgan guy you talk about?"
"Yeah. Well who do you think tells him to break the door down? Me."
He taste tested what you assumed was sauce he was making before adding a heaping load of garlic powder to it. You decided to not to bust his chops anymore and took a seat next to Jack.
"May I borrow a marker?"
He grabbed the pack of colorful tools and placed them in between the two of you before also handing you a proper piece of paper instead of the bill envelope you were planning on doodling on. Your heart melted at his caring act. The two of you scribbled together as you made small talk with your uncle before his phone rang. As he talked with the person on the other line, you noticed a shift in his disposition.
"Are you sure? No, don't worry about it, I'll head over there myself."
Ending the call, he looked around the room as if to gather his bearing and go over a plan in his head before speaking.
"Hey fragolina. I need to leave real quick to just check on something super imperative to the case. Anyway you can watch my buddy here for a little bit? I'll be back within a half an hour."
You glanced over at Jack who was looking at the both of you, a confused look on his face. You tried sounding as least bit intimidating as possible. "Yeah of course. Only if it's ok with you Jack. I know we just met."
"Jack, you can trust her, she's my closest friend. And I'll be back quickly," your uncle added while turning off the stove and removing his apron.
"Sure," was his short reply. It was a reply you could tell he wasn't completely sure about but said it to be polite, knowing his friend needed a favor. You gave him a smile and handed over the purple marker for him to finish coloring in his planet.
"Alright. I'll be right back. Y/N, you have my number, call me if you need anything."
"Sure thing Zio."
Walking around, he gave you a kiss on the head and an affectionate rub on the head to Jack before grabbing his keys and leaving.
The room was quite for a second as it settled in that the two of you were alone but continued drawing, not too bothered by the silence. When you absentmindedly signed for the color blue, he gave you a look of bemusement.
"What was that?" he asked, looking at your hands. Then it hit you that you had signed to a 6 year old boy who was still learning English vocab, let alone ASL.
"Sorry, it's a habit I have sometimes. I teach sign language for my job and when it gets quiet, I sometimes sign instead of talk."
"You know sign language?"
He asked the question with enthusiasm which surprised you. "I do. Do you know how?"
He shook his head. "No, but there's a kid at school that does. It looks cool."
You smiled at his answer, happy that he didn't think it was weird. Most 6 year olds wouldn't be so interested in the matter.
"Would you like me to teach you something? Anything you want."
He nodded excitedly and then took a second to think about it before speaking. "Can you teach me to say, you're my superhero dad, I love you?"
You could've cried right then and there if it wouldn't have made you look like a crazy person. How sweet this little guy was that he thought of his father instead of some silly inappropriate phrase any other boy would have asked for.
"Of course I can!"
So for the next 15 minutes or so, you two sat there and went over the motions, him mirroring you as well as he could which was quite well if you were being honest. It had taken way longer for some of your students to learn one word, let alone a whole phrase like Jack was doing.
"Ok, now I'm not gonna show you this time. You show me," you instructed, having all the faith in him. Slowly, he began signing each word slowly, focusing hard on what motion came after the next, looking down at his hands, practically getting it completely correct by the end of it.
"That was so good Jack! Wow, I'm so impressed. You are so so smart."
He beamed at your compliment, meeting you halfway for a high five. You both ended up moving into the living room and you watched one of his favorite cartoons. Wanting him to be more comfortable with you, you made sure to ask a bunch of questions about the show, loving how his personality was starting to come out the more he talked.
It wasn't much longer that you heard the front door open and multiple voices ring through. One particular voice that you didn't recognize, called Jack's name.
"Dad!" Jack hopped off the couch so quickly, Flash would've been proud and ran over into the arms of who you assumed was his father.
"Hey buddy," his dad greeting, looking over at you with a neutral expression. He was dressed in a full suit that fit him quite well and sported an expensive looking watch. You stood up from your spot on the couch and walked over, feeling a bit nervous at his intense vibe.
"See Aaron, I told you everything was fine," your uncle spoke, giving you a comforting wink. Wanting to be as polite as possible to your uncle's boss, you extended your hand out with a genuine smile.
"Hi, I'm Y/N, Rossi's niece. Everything's been good here, Jack is such a great kid."
He returned the handshake with a professional smile, taking a second to look at you, no doubt profiling you entirely, deeming whether or not you were a right choice to watch his son.
"Aaron Hotchner. Thank you, he is great. What did you guys get up to while we were gone?"
Thankfully, Jack ended up answering for you, saving you from falling over your words while trying not to crumble under his dad's strong gaze.
"She taught me sign language dad!"
He looked down at his son, a look of surprise on his face.
"Here, let me show you."
Everyone watched as Jack began signing to his dad, that same adorable concentrated look on his face. By the end of it, his dad was actually grinning. Teeth and all.
"It means, you're my superhero dad, I love you," Jack explained.
His dad's whole demeanor changed, becoming a whole lot softer and inviting as he bent down to hug his son. It took everything in you not to tear up at the loving interaction.
"That was awesome buddy, I love you too."
You caught a look from his dad, this time a bit more favorable, you now assuming he had made the decision that you were alright. Afterwards, Jack's dad told him to gather his things so they could leave as your uncle went into the kitchen to start the oven, leaving you and Mr. Hotchner alone together.
"I apologize if I seemed a little rude earlier. I'm just very protective of Jack," he explained.
You smiled and waved him off, not admitting that he did have shaking in your boots a little at first. "Oh, you weren't rude. I totally get it, he's your boy. I'd be the same way if he was my kid."
The minute that passed by as you two waited for Jack to return, you could feeling him looking at you again. This time you weren't sure if he was still sizing you up or what but it didn't prevent the raise in blood pressure and slight tinge of pink in your cheeks.
Soon after, Jack came running back, his jacket put on half hazardly and his superman drawing in hand.
"Here. I want you to have it," he told you, handing over the piece of paper. You noticed that he had signed his full name on the bottom corner with a little smiley face. It was definitely the best gift you had gotten in a while.
"Thank you so much Jack. I will put this up in my class so all my students can see how talented my new friend is."
He just smiled in return, taking his dad's hand in his. With his available hand, Mr. Hotchner offered another handshake accompanied with a small friendly smile.
"It was good meeting you. I'm sure this won't be the only time we meet."
You knew he meant it as a cordial statement but you couldn't help but let your girly imagination run wild. I mean the man was tall, professionally accomplished, and downright handsome. Every woman's dream.
"I hope not Mr. Hotchner. It was nice meeting you and spending time with Jack."
"Please. Call me Aaron."
You could've screamed. But instead, you held it together, just smiled and watched them leave, yelling a goodbye to your uncle before closing the door behind them.
You let out a breath you hadn't realized you were holding and fanned your face.
"Setting up playdates already?" you heard your uncle tease from the kitchen entryway. Being a profiler himself and you a terrible keeper of emotion, he knew what was going through your mind.
"Not another word Zio."
He laughed and threw an extra kitchen apron at you. "C'mon. Help me with the zucchini, lovebird."

Oblivious
Prompt: You never realized just how attracted you were to Det. Stabler until he finds you alone at a bar on Valentines Day.
You checked the time for the fourth time out of boredom in the 20 minutes you had been sitting at the crowded dive bar. It was half past 10 and all the cute couples were out getting drinks and cuddling with each other, making you sneer inwardly. Secretly, you were jealous.
You hadn't a Valentine's for the last 2 years, all of your "situationships" never making it far enough into the year, hence the reason you were there by yourself sipping on tequila and soda.
The alternative was sitting at home continuing your binge watching of reality tv or going over recent case files, but you felt like torturing yourself tonight. You were dressed in a form fitting black dress, flattering all your curves and some simple heels to go with it. You didn't bother with makeup or a fancy hairdo, you weren't trying to make a statement. Just maybe hoping to catch a distraction.
So far the only man that wanted to converse with you was the bartender whenever your drink was getting low. Another phone check, the only notification showing was a reminder to take your birth control.
"I thought I saw you sitting over here," a familiar voice spoke beside you. Turning to look, you saw Elliot Stabler take a seat at the stool next to you, motioning over to the bartender.
You gave him an unenthusiastic smile, fiddling with your glass. "Yeah, I'm sticking out like a sore thumb amongst all these lovesick couples."
You stole a glance at his attire as he ordered with the bartender, black leather jacket and denim jeans that always fit him just right. You both worked in the same precinct but rarely spoke with each other, only really seeing each other in passing.
"So you waiting for someone?" he inquired, taking a sip of the amber liquid you only assumed was a whiskey of some sort.
Your answer was short and cryptic, if not slightly provocative, not wanting to get in the conversation of your love life. "Depends on who comes over."
He chuckled, flashing a grin and nodding in understanding. "And how's that working out for you?"
You didn't know whether to give him a smile or glare at his jab, ending up deciding on rolling your eyes and finishing what was left in your drink. "Fantastic. Wanna a shot?"
He seemed hesitant to answer, looking down at his drink, most likely debating whether staying here doing shots with you was worth it. But instead of waiting for his answer, you were already ordering two shots of tequila, sliding one over to him along with a lime.
"Cheers." You raised your glass towards his, waiting till he ultimately picked it up and met yours, clinking and throwing it back, immediately making a face.
"Shit, that's terrible," he cursed, coughing a bit afterwards. His dramatic reaction had you laughing as you bit into your lime, lessening the sharp aftertaste.
"The lime helps. It's alright, you'll do better on the next one."
He shook his head, "Absolutely not. I'd rather chew rocks than do another one of those. You're crazy."
You shrugged in slight agreeance. "Maybe just a little."
In the couple of minutes that he had joined you, the bar had gotten slightly more crowded, a small line of awaiting patrons beginning to form behind the two of you. You didn't care much when they would hand their card over you to the bartender but once a guy decided to push his way between you and Stabler so that he could order, you became annoyed.
"You know, the words excuse me go long way," you chastised, only getting a pompous smirk from him.
"How about I buy you a drink. Would that make you feel better sweetcheeks?"
You didn't get a chance to retort before Stabler's hand clapped on his shoulder, shoving him back. "I think you backing up would be a better idea."
The guy smacked his hand away, proceeding to take a step into his space, challenging him. Without missing a beat, Stabler stood up from his seat, easily towering over the guy and smirking as the guy faltered, ready to throw a punch.
"Hey," you interrupted, putting a hand on his forearm and facing the douche, trying to deescalate the situation. "Just order your drink. We were leaving anyways."
You snagged Stabler's whiskey and pulled him away from the area, heading over to the pool tables on the other side of the bar and sitting down at a table.
"Look at you, one shot of tequila and you're ready to start a bar fight," you joked, attempting to lighten his mood. With one final glare at the guy, he turned to you and cracked a small smile.
"Sorry bout that. I just can't stand guys like that."
"All good, he had it coming. You interested in a game?" you motioned to the empty pool table. "I've got quarters."
"Uh, yeah. Sure. I'll rack em."
Once the quarters were deposited, he racked the balls up as you picked two of the least beat up pool sticks. You made sure he broke first, not wanting to embarrass yourself right off the bat.
"So you pretty much know why I came here, but what's your motive coming here?" you asked him after missing your shot. Slowly walking over to your side while analyzing the table and balls, he took his own shot, making two balls in before facing you, less than a foot away. You never realized just how big he was until you were looking up at him, barely reaching chest height. It was intimidating and hot.
"I don't know. Maybe looking for something similar."
The way you noticed his eyes glance down at your lips for just a second after he said that, made your heart beat twice as fast. If it wasn't for the loud bass music playing from the speakers, you'd swear he'd hear it beating out of your chest.
Your words were low, spoken almost as if you were in a trance, which honestly wasn't too far from the truth. "Huh. Funny how we'd coincidentally meet here on Valentines Day, both without a Valentine's."
"Yeah. Funny," he responded.
You matched his stare for only a couple of seconds before running out of confidence, stepping back to take your next shot, completely forgetting which balls were yours. To be completely honest, you had never thought about going after Stabler. You actually had always assumed him and his partner had something going on between them. But as your game continued and you observed him, especially once he shed his jacket, showing off his muscular frame, you were thinking more and more about it.
"You win," he announced after accidentally making the 8 ball in. There's no way either one of you were actually trying to win, focused more on checking each other out as each of you leaned down to take a shot than actually making it. As he took a seat at the table, you sat next to him instead of across, testing the waters.
Your move was answered in less than a second as his large hand gently rested on your thigh, almost covering it completely. You both looked at each other, the tension so thick you could choke on it. It wasn't until his other hand came to cup your face that you caved and leaned in to kiss him. It started out gentle, both of you not sure what the other wanted but as you felt his hand on your thigh slide in a little and tighten it's grip, it was clear.
Both of your tongues explored each others mouth, only pulling away once you were both out of breath. His eyes were dark with desire and you were sure you had the words fuck me all over your face.
Dipping his head to your ear, he whispered, "Wanna get out of here?"
It didn't take much time after you nodded your head for him to pay both of your tabs and escort you outside.
"You drive here?" he asked, your hand still in his, the brisk winter air biting at your exposed skin.
"No, took a taxi. Didn't want to drink and drive."
"We'll take my car." Wrapping his leather jacket around your shoulders, you both walked a street down to where he was parked. Before you could reach for the door handle, he caged you up against the SUV, kissing you more intensely than in the bar. You reciprocated the effort, wrapping your arms around his neck, pulling him closer.
You felt his hands circle your waist, slowly trailing down to cup and squeeze your ass, making you moan.
He pulled away, leaving you breathless and opened the backseat door. "Get in." His voice was rugged and it took less than a thought to obey immediately. Once you were in, he followed suit, closing the door behind him and locking the car, tossing his keys and holstered weapon into the center console.
He positioned himself in the middle seat, pulling you to straddle his waist and remove the jacket covering you.
"As unbelievable as it is, I'm glad no man came to buy you a drink tonight," he murmured, planting small kisses along your neck and collar bone, making you grind your core into his instinctively, arching your neck for better access. Your neck was one of the most sensitive parts of your body and knew he figured it out from the slight grin you felt against your skin.
You pulled his neatly tucked long sleeve from his waistband and over his head, displaying his broad chest and toned abs. You gave him your own kisses along his neck as he pulled your dress straps down, exposing your breasts, his hands grasping and kneading them.
"Fuck, you're so beautiful," he praised, pulling you in for another kiss. At this point, your panties were soaked from all the teasing and you wouldn't be surprised if you'd left a spot on his jeans.
Feeling bold, you gave his lip a bite, not hard enough to break skin but hard enough to leave it red and he growled in pleasure. After that, he grabbed your dress, bunching it up so that it was above your hips and unbuckled his belt.
As he undid his jeans and pulled his cock out which was hard and ready, you slid down to crouch between his legs, grateful for the roomy SUV backseat. He watched, lips parted slightly, eyes looking expectantly down at you as you eagerly took him in your mouth, a shudder escaping him, his fingers running through your hair to hold your head.
Bobbing up and down, you reveled in the groans and occasional curse coming from him, egging you on and making you wetter than ever. You swirled your tongue over his tip before taking him as deep as you could, his hips jerking in response.
"You keep going, I'm gonna come," he spoke out of breath, halting your ministrations. "Come here."
You crawled back on top of him, him pushing your soaked panties to the side and guiding his length in, letting you sink all the way down, making you moan a little louder than you expected. You forgot you were in the backseat of his car on a public street for a second but the thought was fleeting as he moved your hips to grind into him, feeling him fill you so deliciously.
"You feel so perfect sweetheart." His breathing was ragged, his bare skin hot to the touch as the surrounding space in the car became steamy. The pace was slow and steady, you letting out breathy sighs every time he whispered in your ear, praising and encouraging you.
When your movements became faster, your hand reaching down to circle your clit trying to chase your approaching orgasm, you felt him grip your hips and ask, "You wanna come for me?"
All you could do was shake your head yes, practically panting as words could do not justice, your hands holding onto his shoulders.
"Go ahead then baby. Come all over me."
The both of you worked together, picking up the pace, him thrusting his hips upwards and you slamming back down on him until you were coming hard, your fingertips digging into his skin, most likely leaving marks.
"Fuck, just like that baby. I'm gonna come," he stuttered, throwing his head against your neck and following you into his own orgasm, holding you tight and still.
You rested your head against his shoulder, both of your bodies slick with a layer of sweat while you both slowly caught your breaths.
"There should be a towel in my gym bag," he spoke but neither one of you moved to grab it. You just took a minute, enjoying the close proximity before giving him one last kiss before moving.
The cleanup was easy enough and neither one of you looked too terrible once you exited the car and got in your respectable seats. He drove you to your house, the windows down in order to cool both of you off and walked you to your front stoop.
"This was probably one of the most fun Valentine's Days I've ever had. And not just because of the sex," he admitted with a chuckle.
You smiled back, unlocking your door and stepping in before holding the door open a little wider, throwing him a look.
"It doesn't have to end yet if you don't want it to."
He bit his lip in temptation, grabbing his keys from his pocket before locking his car and following you in.

Boo
Prompt: You end up taking Jack and your daughter trick or treating while Aaron is stuck at work.
Note: I know this Halloween inspired prompt is a little belated but the amount of fluff is worth it. 🥰
“I want that one!” your daughter yelled, grabbing the bigger candy bucket from Jack’s hands. A frown appeared on his face but he seemingly held himself back from acting out. The little 8 year old had way more patience than you did at his age, clearly taking after Aaron’s constant calm and controlled demeanor.
“Hey,” you spoke, crouching down to her level. “Jackers is your brother and you need to be nice to him. We don’t yell and take things away from each other.” She looked back and forth from him to you, an expression of disapproval evident. “Why don’t you try asking him nicely if you can have the bigger bucket, ok?”
You and Jack waited as she stayed silent, clearly struggling with the idea to be polite. Finally, she turned to Jack and spoke. “Can I have Jack?”
He looked over at you and then to the smaller identical bucket by her feet. “Yeah, ok.”
You sighed in relief and gave them both a big smile. For a second, you thought there was gonna be a tantrum happening before you even got a chance to trick or treat but luckily Jack came to your rescue, being the bigger man.
“See, wasn’t that nicer than yelling at Jack?” She just nodded, avoiding eye contact, probably embarrassed that she was in the wrong. “Ok, now let’s go get some candy!”
Like a switch, they were both back to being happy and excited as they ran to the door. You grabbed both of their jackets that you knew they were gonna want later on as well as your little tumbler of wine. That was your treat for the night.
Before leaving the house, you came over to Jack and plopped a king sized Snickers bar in his bucket, giving him a wink and smile once he noticed. He pretended to zip his lips shut and throw away the key, making you laugh.
The first couple of house went smoothly, your daughter clutching onto Jack most of the time, not convinced with the suspicious looking decorations outside of some of the houses. You sent a picture of the two of them to Aaron, knowing he’d want to see how they were doing even if he couldn’t be there.
Aaron: They look adorable. How far have you gotten?
You: Still on our street, but making great headway. Jack is excited to get to Wicker street where he knows they give out the bigger candy.
Aaron: Smart boy. I see he let his sister have the bigger bucket.
You: Yeah, he handled it very well. Reminded me a lot of his father. (;
Aaron: Love to hear that. Gotta go but I love you.
You: Love you too.
You put your phone away just as you heard your daughter scream and watch as she made a beeline for you, leaving Jack in the dust. "Sweetheart, what's the matter?" you asked bending down. She looked absolutely terrified as tears began streaming down her face and the little tiara on her head struggled to stay attached. Instead of answering, she just pointed over to the porch that she had just ran from. You knew then what she was referring to when you saw the dog dressed as a big spider. It took everything in you not to laugh out loud.
"Oh honey, it's a just a doggy. He's dressed up for Halloween just like you." You brushed the hair out of her eyes while she continued crying, completely unconvinced that the dog was not a gigantic spider there to eat her and waited as Jack came back over. He inspected the scene before him, obviously aware of what happened and proceeded to pull a pack of gummy worms out from his bucket of goodies.
"Here. I got you worms," he offered, forcing the candy into her hand. Just like that, the crying stopped immediately as she played with the package, trying to figure out how to open it.
"That was so nice of your brother. Can you say thank you sweetie?"
"Thank you," she repeated. You gave Jack a ruffle on his head and pulled him in for a hug. He was literally the sweetest boy you knew.
"Alright, Jack. You want to lead the way to the next street?" He shook his head in excitement and wasted no time in showing you the way.
After walking up to the first house and receiving two big chocolate bars, he was practically racing to the next house for more.
"Not so fast Jack, stay close." you told him, scanning your surroundings, knowing anything could happen. Your daughter followed in step with you, busy gnawing on some gummy candy that you were sure was gonna end up keeping her up all night. Just before you all reached the next house, someone caught your eye. The tall figure was a bit far away but became increasingly clearer, the closer you got. Jack was the first to identify him.
"Daddy!"
You watched him run ahead and into the arms of your husband, who was still dressed in his work attire. In that moment, you were entirely grateful to the Bureau for their strict dress code. The dress pants, FBI windbreaker, and holstered weapon had you thinking all kinds of dirty scenarios in your head you'd like to play out with him but for the sake of your toddler children, you decided to indulge your fantasies later.
You and your daughter walked over, a gentle smile on your lips as he set Jack down to give her a hug. "Well this is a pleasant surprise." you greeted, giving him a kiss once he came back up.
“Case wrapped up sooner than expected. Figured the team could use an early night considering the occasion."
You pulled him in for another kiss, this time, a slightly longer and deeper, earning a curious hum from him. "What was that for?"
Absentmindedly, you played with his tie and looked up at his boyish expression. "I just really like your Halloween costume."
Being the ever observant special agent he was, it didn't take long for him to understand what you meant as a knowing smirk played on his lips. "I see."
"Daddy, up," your daughter demanded while pulling on his pant leg, interrupting the moment.
“Of course sweetheart.” He propped her up on his hip and gave you one last look before turning his attention to them. “Lead the way Batman,” Aaron spoke to Jack in his costume.
All of you followed after the young boy, it not taking long for both of their candy buckets to fill up and their sugar high to come crashing down. Your daughter had fallen asleep in Aaron’s arms on the walk back and Jack walked hand in hand with you, his pace a lot slower than earlier.
Once in the house, you helped Jack separate his candy while Aaron put your daughter down for bed. "The Twix are my favorite. Dad can have the pretzels and you can have the lollipops," he offered, pushing the less interesting candy towards you.
“Alright. I’ll keep all of your candy in a very secure safe place,” you reassured him, putting his little pile into a ziplock bag. “Why don’t you go get changed into your pj’s and brush your teeth.”
He listened without a fuss, a tired yawn making its way out of his mouth as he shuffled down the hall, passing by his dad who gave him a high five.
You watched him make his way over to you, a playful glint in his eye, his arms snaking their way around your waist before he placed a gentle kiss against your neck. "I thought I could run us a bath. Maybe give you a massage afterwards." His murmured words sent a shiver through you, your body reacting immediately. You turned to face him, your hands slowly pulling down on his jacket zipper, your eyes locked with his.
Leaning in, his lips met yours with a burning passion you loved. Like that was the last kiss he'd ever have. His hand cradled your head, fingers entwining in your hair and as he stepped closer, the faint smell of cologne from that morning still lingered on his clothes, overstimulating your senses. Your hands rested themselves on his torso, grabbing at the fabric, wanting nothing more than to rip it right off his body as his breath hitched, telling you he felt the same way.
"Daddy!" Jack called from down the hall, bringing the both of you back down to earth. He was probably waiting for his nightly bedtime story you made sure to give him, all cuddled up in his bed, surrounded by his numerous stuffies and dressed in his Batman pajamas.
You pulled away from Aaron, his eyes dark and filled with desire.
"Wait for me," he spoke lowly, stepping back from you before heading towards Jack's room, ready to give the shortest bedtime story ever.

Family Friend
Prompt: Jack Hotchner is arrested for underage drinking and the first person he calls to bail him out, is you.
It was almost 2 in the morning when you received the call.
"Y/N?" You heard the familiar voice of Jack Hotchnner's voice speak. He sounded small and almost scared.
"Jack?" You sat up in bed, immediately awake. "Are you alright?"
"I did something stupid Y/N. My dad's gonna kill me."
His words were slightly slurred and slow, imitating that of someone who had been drinking a lot. A million scenarios went through your head as you sprang out from under the covers, rushing to put on a change of clothes, holding your cell between your shoulder and ear.
"What happened Jack? Where are you?"
"I'm in jail. They said I could call someone so I called you. I know my dad is out of the state on a case, please don't tell him," he pleaded.
"Honey, I have to, he's your father. But we can talk about it when I get there. What jail exactly are you at?"
Once you were decent, you grabbed your keys and headed out the door.
"Fairfax I think- Oh God, Y/N, I'm so stupid, I don't even know why I was there. I-
"Jack, sweetheart. Don't say anymore, I'm headed to you now alright? Just sit tight."
He sniffled and let out an intoxicated hiccup. "Ok."
Hanging up, you dialed Aaron's number and put it on speaker as you got into your SUV, driving in the direction of the jail. The call picked up on the third ring and Aaron's sleepy voice mirrored your concerned tone from earlier.
"Y/N? Everything alright?"
"Jack just called me. I guess he's been arrested in Alexandria. He's fine, he's safe, but he did sound like he had been drinking. I'm on my way to pick him up now."
"What? Did he tell you what happened?" You imagined that he was doing the same as you, getting out of bed and dressing to catch the soonest plane out.
"No, I didn't want him to tell me over the phone. I can call you back once I get there and talk with him, I just wanted to give you a heads up."
"Thank you. I'm on my way as well." His voice was low and slightly gruff, telling you that he was pissed but trying to conceal it. You'd memorized all of his subtle tone and posture changes over the years of knowing him, having spent the better part of those years as one of his underlings before transferring units.
"Don't worry about it tonight Aaron, I've got it. You've got a case to solve."
Luckily, all of the lights were working in your favor as you had yet to hit a red, bringing you closer to Jack sooner.
"The team will be fine without me. I'll be there first thing tomorrow morning."
You knew there was no stopping him. He was as stubborn as a mule and you honestly couldn't blame him when it came to the fact that his son was just arrested for God knows what.
"And Y/N. Thank you. For being there."
You were glad he wasn't there to see the slight blush creeping into your face at his words as your voice spoke calmly, a strong opposite of what you were feeling.
"Of course Aaron. I'll always be there for you guys."
Your words lingered in the back of your mind after the both of you hung up, silently mocking your lovesick emotions. For years, the both of you had always kept your friendship that of which it was. A friendship, nothing more. As much as you may have wanted it to be something a little more...intimate. There were times you thought Aaron may have felt the same, by the way he looked at you just a second longer than necessary or how protective he'd get whenever he found out you were going out on a date. But he never voiced such sentiments to you, if he had any at all, causing you to bury your own.
It seemed to be the night that everyone was being arrested as you walked into the police station and towards the booking desk.
"I'm here for Jack Hotchner, he was brought in sometime tonight," you stated to the officer. She gave you a once over before typing into the computer, presumingly looking him up.
"Oh yeah. Looks like he was picked up from a neighborhood party for underage drinking. He's in the drunk tank. Hasn't stopped crying and telling everyone that his father is a FBI agent. That true?"
You sighed at the dramatics she described and sighed before answering. "Yes he is, and I'm Special Agent L/N, a family friend." You flashed your credentials, satisfying her interest and continuing on with the process of bail. 500 dollars later and a short phone call to Aaron to update him on everything, they delivered the still very drunk Jack Hotchner to you.
He practically ran into your arms, crying. "Y/N, I'm so sorry."
If you weren't such a sucker for the kid, you would've been giving him a very stern lecture on his reckless behavior. But you were a sucker and all you could do was hug him back tight and speak gently. "You're alright, I'm just glad you're safe. C'mon, let's get you home."
You thanked the cops and left the building, Jack following close behind obediently. Once the two of you were in the car and on your way back, you decided to have a few words.
"This can't happen again, Jack. You know that, right?"
He seemed to be fading in and out of sleep but was coherent enough to give you a nod of acknowledment.
"Just because you're not in jail anymore, doesn't mean there won't still be a punishment. You broke the law and your dad is not happy about that."
Suddenly at the mention of his father, his eyes sprung open in alarm.
"You told him?"
"Of course I told him Jack. He was planning on flying back the minute I told him the news but I managed to get him to at least wait until tomorrow so you can sleep off the alcohol and he can have some time to calm down. You're welcome."
He threw his head back, cringing his face, making you believe that he was gonna start crying again. "He's gonna kill me."
"Well I highly doubt that sweetheart but I'll be there just in case, to make sure the both of you stay calm, alright?"
He groaned in acceptance and you shook your head smiling at his childlike behavior.
- - - -
Using the spare key Aaron gifted to you a few months back, you helped Jack into his house and led him into his room. Flopping onto his bed and passing out almost immediately, you sighed before straightening him out and taking off his shoes, then covering him up with a blanket and turning out his light.
You knew he was fine to be in the house by himself, but still you stayed, taking minimal space on the massive sectional couch and covering yourself with a throw blanket, noticing how it smelt faintly of Aaron. It didn't take long for the sleep to find you.
- - - -
You woke up with a jolt as the sound of the front door closing echoed in the quiet house, sitting up and catching Aaron's eye. He seemed surprised to see you as he walked over to the dining room table and set his keys and briefcase down.
"Sorry I woke you. I didn't know you spent the night," he spoke softly, loosening his tie.
"Yeah, I didn't want to leave him here alone in the state he was in. He must've had a lot to drink."
A sigh escaped his lips while running a hand over his face, his expression looking tired and overworked. You could only imagine the stress he went through being a single father and Unit Chief as well as the toll it took on his mind and body. Getting up, you folded the throw blanket neatly and walked over into the kitchen, deciding to make the both of you a pot of coffee.
"I don't know why he's so out of control lately. Last week the school told me he's been skipping classes and receiving detention on a daily basis."
You figured Jack was still sound asleep considering that it was only 7 in the morning so there was no chance he'd hear the two of you talking.
"He's not out of control Aaron. He's just being a teenager. A teenager that lost his mother and barely sees his father, he's bound to act out a little."
You prepared the coffee, knowing exactly where everything was, having done these motions numerous times before. Some of your best memories with Aaron were ones where the two of you shared a pot in the late night and talked about anything and everything, just enjoying each others presence. You pushed away the momentary thought and grabbed two mugs from the cabinet.
"I just wish I knew what to do," he sighed. "He's getting more and more distant from me and I feel helpless about it."
You turned to face him, settling you hand on his arm, grabbing his attention. "Just be there for him. And tell him that. He'll come around eventually. He just needs to work through the emotions he's feeling."
He didn't answer but continued holding your gaze, a flicker of something behind his eyes that made you subconsciously hold your breath. "Thank you Y/N. For staying." His voice was soft- tentative almost. You watched his eyes glance down at your lips momentarily, the air now thick with tension. You stood there frozen as he took a small step forward, bringing his body closer to yours and his head tilting down to compensate the height difference.
"Aaron.." you whispered, his name almost spoken as a warning, worried that if he crossed whatever boundary there had been, he'd regret it and that would be the end of your friendship.
"Am I reading this wrong?" he asked, his eyes searching yours for an answer. He didn't lean in any further though. Didn't make a move to kiss you but his close presence was plenty. You could smell the cologne he would wear every once in a while, making your head dizzy.
"I just don't want you to regret this later on," you admitted to him, fearing he's end up agreeing with you. Instead, to your surprise, he reached a hand out to hold your cheek in his hand, making your eyes flutter shut briefly.
"The only regret I have is not doing this sooner." He leaned in, capturing your lips in his which you were more than happy to reciprocate. The kiss was everything you had dreamt it be. He was gentle, loving almost, in the way his arm came around your waist and slowly pulled you in. There was no rush, it was just you and him in the quiet house, everything else forgotten about, including the teenager who had unknowingly left his room to walk right into the living room, seeing everything.
"It's about time," he interrupted, making you practically jump away from Aaron.
"Jack." Your response was breathless, Aaron succeeding in taking it away seconds before. "I wasn't expecting you to be up so early."
You turned to step away from Aaron, which he allowed, but still kept his hand resting on your waist, a small knowing smirk on his face.
"Just because you were right about this, doesn't mean you're off the hook," Aaron said, making Jack roll his eyes lightheartedly. You spun to Aaron with a look of shock.
"Have you two been conspiring about me?" You were surprised of course, but also flattered that Jack felt so comfortable with you to talk with his father about his romantic feelings towards you.
Aaron shrugged his shoulders in admission. "Maybe just a little bit," he said, the tiniest of a blush creeping up his neck. "I just wasn't expecting for it to happen this morning, especially after all the chaos."
"Which I'm totally sorry for, Y/N. Thanks for coming to get me," Jack added. You walked over and brought the boy in for a tight hug that he pretended to not enjoy but eventually gave up and hugged you back. "I'm just glad you're safe and hopefully learned a valuable lesson," you spoke, pulling him back and giving him a once over. "Also, how are you up at 7 in the morning? If I had as much to drink as you looked like you did, I'd be dead till at least noon."
He chuckled and ran a nervous hand through his hair, something you noticed Aaron also did on occasion. "This wasn't my first time, Y/N. I've been drunker."
You gasped and looked over at Aaron who could only shake his head in disapproval but ultimately already knowing about it.
You turned back to Jack. "Well this time, it won't be just your father in charge of punishment. I'm gonna have some say in it as well. I know Spencer has an upcoming lecture on the Theory of Relativity this week. I think it'd be very informational for you."
The horrid expression on his face was exactly what you were looking for. "What?! No! Please, not uncle Spence's lectures. I'll do community service, babysitting, anything but that," he pleaded to his father, who threw his hands up in surrender but didn't lose the amused smile.
"I think it's a great idea. Consider that the beginning of the punishment as well. Now go get showered and dressed, you're gonna come with me to run some errands."
Groaning in disapproval, he did as he said and walked off down the hall to his room. You felt the warmth of Aaron come up behind you and pull you in, resting his head on your shoulder, arms around your stomach. "Good idea on the punishment," he praised, kissing your cheek.
You chuckled while moving to face him, a look of jest in your eyes. "Oh, you're not in the clear either, mister. I think I deserve a proper date after the secret scheming you and Jack have been up to."
The gaze of tenderness and affection glimmered in his eyes gave you butterflies and the ultimate need to pull him in for another kiss. You honestly felt like you could kiss the man forever.
When you both pulled away, he spoke. "How about tonight? I'll pick you up from your place around 6? You could wear that dress you've been talking about wanting to wear."
A big smile appeared on your face at his words, excited for the evening. You stayed just a little longer, sharing a cup of coffee with Aaron, giving some drunk advice to Jack before you all parted your separate ways. Knowing you'd see the both of them so soon, filled your heart with joy and the smiled never faded the whole drive home.

Interference Part 2
Prompt: You run to your FBI neighbor when you and your boyfriend get into a fight.
Part 1
You shut your laptop with a frustrated sigh and crossed out the last address you had written down on your pad of paper. The last two days you had been searching for a place to rent, only to be turned down due to your bad credit or limited income. You didn’t have the privilege of asking your family for help, most of them had shunned you once you got into your relationship and the few that did still speak with you were in no position to lend you money.
Your phone rang again for the 3rd time in 30 minutes, a blocked number popping up on the screen. You had ignored it the last 2 times for the fear that it was your boyfriend, but he should still be in jail with no chance of making phone calls, right?
Deciding it wouldn’t really hurt to answer it, you slid the call open and instantly regretted it once the familiar devious voice spoke to you.
“Hello bird,” he greeted with fake sincerity, using the pet name he made for you as a jab at your eating habits. The fear shot through you just as hard as the other night, rendering you speechless.
“I’m out baby. I’ll be home soon and we can sit down and talk about everything. Hopefully you were able to get the house cleaned, it was a mess the last time I was there.”
He didn’t get a chance to say anything more before you ended the call. Anxiety and fear began creeping into your body, making you scramble to grab a luggage bag from the closet before shoving some clothes, toiletries, and your laptop in it. Running into the living room, you peeked out of the curtains, hoping to see Aaron’s car in the driveway. No such luck.
So grabbing your keys, you left the house, not even bothering to lock it and threw your luggage into the backseat of your car. You tore out of the driveway and down the street like a bat out hell, unsure exactly how far away your boyfriend was. As reckless as driving 50 in a residential was, you took your chances of being pulled over and put as much distance between you and that house before dialing Aaron’s number at a red light.
“Hotchner,” he answered professionally from the other line.
“Aaron. He got out. I don’t know how, maybe his mom paid his bail. He called me and said he was on his way to me.” Your words were fast and frantic. You would've continued rambling had Aaron not stopped you.
"Y/N. Just take a deep breath for me, alright?"
The light turned green and you did as he instructed, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, it doing very little to calm your frazzled nerves but appreciated it regardless.
"Now do you have anywhere you can go, maybe a friends house or family member? Somewhere you'd be safe?"
"No," you spoke. "I don't have any friends and most of my family disowned me when I got into this stupid relationship. The rest of them live on the West Coast."
There was a pause of silence as you felt him thinking over the phone. Most likely figuring out the easiest way to get rid of you and your problems.
"Alright. I have some down time before my meeting in an hour. Why don't you come by and we can figure out a plan. I'll send you the address, just take the elevator to the 4th floor."
A second later you felt the buzz of your phone from the incoming text message. "Ok. Thank you so much Aaron. And I'm so sorry for taking up your time." Tears threatened to fall but you held them back.
"Don't be sorry, Y/N. I want to help you. Don't worry, we'll get this all sorted out. Just text me when you arrive."
"I will," you replied before you both said goodbye and hung up. You put the address in your navigation and drove mindlessly through traffic, so many thoughts going through your head it made you want to scream.
The address wasn't too far from your own homes, arriving there in less than an hour and heading into the very drab looking building before taking the elevator, texting Aaron that you had arrived on the way up.
You had just made it to the front desk before seeing Aaron headed in your direction, giving the receptionist a small smile. "She's with me Lonnette, thank you."
You waited as Lonnette printed your visitor badge and handed it over with a friendly smile before following Aaron through the floor, passing by glass offices and cubicles. You were quiet, not really in the mood for small talk which you felt he sensed and didn't bother saying anything as he lead you up some stairs to an office that you presumed was his by the gold name plaque on his desk.
"Have a seat, please," he offered politely, closing the door and walking over to his side of the desk. "Would you like something to drink? Water? Coffee?"
You shook your head. "No thank you. I appreciate the offer though."
He unbuttoned his suit jacket and sat down, moving some files to the side. "So I'm genuinely surprised to hear that he's out of jail. You said you think his mother bailed him out?"
"Yeah. I don't think she knows anything about what happened but whenever he asks her for money, she just sends it to him. I think she feels guilty for never being in his life so giving him money when he needs it helps her feel better about it." You rung your hands together, anxious about the whole situation as well as being there, talking with a man that was pretty much a complete stranger, bugging him for help.
"And he called you afterwards, telling you that he was on his way? Did he seem upset?" His tone was curious as if trying to get every piece of puzzle to fit perfectly in order to build an accurate idea of who your boyfriend was. It made sense considering his profession.
"I don't know. He's really good at hiding his anger until he snaps. He was talking like nothing had happened and we were just going to go back to normal." Your head whipped towards the open window blinds where someone was just walking by, Aaron noticing your jumpy behavior immediately.
"You're safe here. No one knows anything about what happened except you and I," he reassured you, making you relax just a little. "I don't think he'll be out of jail for long though, at least until he sees the judge for arraignment. I will personally see to that."
His words brought you a bit of placidity and hope as you still wondered why he would go through such lengths to help you out.
"I do have a small flat not far from here that I use occasionally for late nights at the office when I don't want to drive all the way home. You can stay there for now, until you find a place of your own if you'd like. Completely up to you, I don't want you to feel pressured."
Your eyes looked up from the floor to meet his, surprised by his offer.
"I- uh. I couldn't impose on you like that-
"You wouldn't be. I barely use it anymore, I prefer to be at my home with my son whenever I can."
Son? He has a son. Of course he does. He probably also has a wife or at least a girlfriend since you didn't see a ring on his finger. The thought of him with a son didn't bother you, in fact it only gave you more of a reason to trust him.
"If you're sure you don't mind," you said, trying not to sound too excited, relieved that you wouldn't have to go back to your boyfriends house. "Please let me pay some sort of rent or something though. It's the least I can do."
He shook his head no, his expression soft and nonchalant. "Don't worry about it. You're gonna need the money for your new place. Just promise me that you won't contact him or go back to that house unless you have some sort of escort, preferably by law enforcement."
You could be my escort.
You nodded in agreement, ignoring your thoughts.
“Alright then. I can send you the address and give you the keys now. I'm not sure if the fridge is stocked but feel free to add or throw anything away. There is a washer and dryer there so you can wash the sheets and anything else you need." He pulled his keys from his desk drawer and removed a ring with a single key on it, holding it out for you.
You took it gratefully and stood with him as he buttoned his suit back up and checked his watch.
"Could I at least make you dinner or something?" you blurted, not sure where such confidence came from. "I mean, I just want to do something for you in return for your incredible generosity." You couldn't stop the blush from burning your cheeks, your words successfully embarrassing yourself.
A small smile played at the corner of his mouth, showing off just the slightest sight of dimples. "I'll be with my son tonight but maybe we could grab a coffee sometime tomorrow."
You smiled back, more than satisfied with his offer and followed him out of his office, feeling a few stares from people but avoided eye contact. Aaron walked you back to the receptionist and even had her add you as a contact so visiting would be an easier feat.
"Thank you again Aaron," you spoke, the anxiety you had been feeling for the last few hours, finally beginning to dissipate. He answered with a friendly nod and you entered the elevators. Once the doors closed and you were completely alone, you took in a deep breath. Maybe everything was going to be ok like he said.

Interference Part 1
Prompt: You run to your FBI neighbor when you and your boyfriend get into a fight.
Notes: Descriptions of DA scenario, mentions of drug use
Part 2
You tried to go over every thing you did throughout your day that might've caused your boyfriend to be so upset but couldn't think of anything. Maybe it was because you didn't stay up to wait for him to get home last night, even though you gave him till midnight. Or maybe you left some dishes in the sink that he had to clean up.
Either way, his anger was inconsolable and you knew better than to even utter a word as he slammed the doors and walked around the house with a hard set scowl on his face. You just took shelter in the kitchen as you nervously cleaned out the fridge, tossing the expired condiments away.
"This house is always such a fucking mess! You spend at least half the day here, you'd think it would look spotless!"
You knew he wasn't really mad about the cleanliness. You deep cleaned the house every single day till it was shining, he was just projecting. You weren't sure whether to respond to his outburst or just let it go but didn't even have time to make a decision once he came walking into the kitchen. The hairs on the back of your neck raised and your face heated up in anxiety as he stood there staring at you.
That's when you noticed the all too familiar state he was in. Dilated pupils, rapid breathing, slight sweat forming around his brows. He was high.
"What are you doing, huh? Throwing shit away? He said, grabbing the box of leftovers you had saved from a few days ago. "What if I still wanted to eat this? Were you going to bother to ask me?"
"I- uh- it's from a few days ago. I didn't think-
"Exactly! You didn't think! Just fucking throwing away whatever you want!"
You weren't expecting the box of expired food to be thrown at you, hitting you square in the chest, sticky noodles getting in your hair and falling into your lap.
"This is my fucking house! My fucking food! You don't get to throw away anything unless I say you can!"
You had barely recovered from food being thrown at you, you didn't realize he made a moved in on you and grabbing your arm tightly, jerking you up to your feet and pushing you towards the other side of the kitchen, the momentum causing you to lose your footing and fall to the floor.
Your senses were kicking into overdrive as you scrambled to your feet just as he grabbed a jar of pickles and launched it in your direction. It shattered on the wall besides you and you felt the sharp pain of small glass pieces cutting your skin.
You had never seen him this out of control before. There was something behind his eyes that scared you more than normal and you knew you needed to get out of his path of blinding rage. You made a run towards the hallway, him chasing you close behind but you managed to close and lock the bathroom door just in time.
"Oh, you wanna play this game now? Ok."
Your breaths were heavy, so much adrenaline flowing through your veins it almost made you woozy. There was a moment of silence, making you think he had walked away but was completely mistaken once you watched the whole door shake at the impact as he attempted to break it down. Another slam and you saw small cracks forming in the middle of the only thing keeping you safe.
You made a split second decision to escape through the window, sliding it open and trying your best to undo the screen that didn't want to cooperate. Another slam.
You looked behind you at the battered door and knew it could only hold maybe one more before he was able to get through- so like a rat trapped in a corner, you began banging on the screen until it popped off, quickly pulling your body to climb out, scraping your hips on the ledge in the process.
The gravel floor did no favors for you as you landed awkwardly, but at this point you couldn't feel anything. Or at least your brain wasn't giving you any time to register the pain. Springing to your feet, you ran out to the front of the house, your first thought to take the car but realized the keys were inside.
That's when you saw him.
He was standing on his porch going through his mail, seemingly looking like he had just gotten home from somewhere. You had heard rumors from some of the neighbors that he worked for the government or something, giving you some hope.
You began running over to him, not daring to look back to see if your boyfriend was chasing you or not.
He has seen you coming over and immediately looked concerned, putting his mail back in the mailbox and practically catching you in his arms once you reached him.
"Please. Help me- my boyfriend. H-he's gonna kill me."
You were crying now, trying to form sentences when he asked you what happened but couldn't.
When you spotted your boyfriend walk out the front door of your house and look over in your direction, a bat in hand your heart stopped.
"Please. Please," you pleaded, hiding behind his tall frame and holding onto his quarter zip for dear life.
"Here, get inside," he said, opening his front door, the both of you entering as he walked over to his kitchen counter where a gun, badge and handcuffs were set. He grabbed the gun and cuffs, clipping both of them on his waist band and turning to you.
"Stay here."
You nodded obediently and watched him walked back out. He didn't close the door so you were able to watch everything from the moment your boyfriend began waving the bat around crazily towards your neighbor to him pulling out his gun and pointing it at him.
"Get down on the ground!"
For a second you thought your boyfriend wasn't going to listen as he stared at your neighbor with fury but seemed to be coherent enough to drop the bat and put his hands in the air, looking over at you.
"Just you wait, bitch. You'll get yours."
By now, everyone was either peeping through their windows or standing on the sidewalk, nosey to see what all the commotion was about as your neighbor pushed your boyfriend to the floor and handcuffed him.
It wasn't long before multiple cop cars showed up, taking over the scene. Your neighbor made his way over to you and offered you a hand, making you realize that you were sitting on the floor, frozen to the spot, hugging your legs.
"The officers are going to want a report but I want you checked out by the paramedics first."
You took his hand but relied all on him to pull you up as your legs felt like jello. The feeling of relief and sadness overtook you as you fell into his chest, sobbing uncontrollably. Instead of being pushed away and teased for it like you were used to, you got pulled in tighter and long strong arms wrapped around you, enveloping you in a warm protective embrace.
He let you cry like that for a little until you calmed down enough to walk with him outside to the ambulance that was waiting. He didn't leave as they had you climb inside and lay on the stretcher so one of the paramedics could clean up the small cuts around your arm caused by the glass jar.
"How long have you lived there?" he asked, from besides you on the bench. You hoped he didn't feel guilty for not catching the abuse sooner.
"Not very long. He's been there for years but I just moved in about a few months ago. I don't usually leave the house since I work from home so that's probably why you didn't see me too often," you answered, wincing as the antiseptic touched your raw skin.
Just then, his phone rang.
"Hotchner....I'm actually busy at the moment but you can reach out to my Communications liason, Jennifer Jareau at the office....yes of course....goodbye."
"So you're names Hotchner?" you inquired, wanting to talk about something to keep your mind off the stinging pain.
"Aaron. Hotchners my last name."
"Nice to meet you Aaron. I'm Y/N," you greeted, offering your hand for a shake. He took it with a small smile and shook it gently.
"I wish it was under different circumstances but I'm glad you're safe."
"Thanks to you. I appreciate you by the way. You handled the situation really well."
He did that half smile again and played with his hands, almost nervously.
"Well unfortunately I deal with a lot of high stress situations like that so it was almost second nature."
"Cop?" you prodded, wanting to know if there was any truth to the rumors.
"FBI. Behavioral Analysis Unit to be specific."
He didn't go into anymore detail than that but that was more than enough for you. So he's an Federal Agent. You literally couldn't have picked a better neighbor to run to.
- - - -
After the paramedic was done cleaning you up and you gave your report to the officer, Aaron came over, hanging up the phone.
"I know the house is technically not yours but he won't be back anytime soon and I'm sure you need to get cleaned up and everything. I'm gonna give you my card, I wrote my personal cell number in case you need anything but also feel free to come over if my car is in the driveway."
You took the card, reading his slightly sloppy writing and nodded with a smile.
"Thank you again Aaron. Really, you're a lifesaver."
He pulled you in for another hug, surprising you but you accepted it happily.
"No strenuous activity until those cuts and bruises heal," he advised seriously, making you laugh. You both pulled away and it took you a second to actually walk away, not really wanting to leave the comfort of his safe presence but you did and went back into the house, ignoring all of the mess and taking a long needed shower, thinking about everything that happened.

Exercise
Prompt: Aaron wants to get up early for a morning meeting before work but you have other plans.
The sound of the closet door closing woke you up and you turned in bed to see Aaron making an apologetic face while putting his shoe on. He was already halfway dressed for work but the clock read 5:20am.
"Rossi wanted to meet a little early to go over some stuff on our case," he explained, already knowing that you were going to ask why he was leaving you earlier than normal.
Immediately, you frowned, not getting your fill of his presence since only just seeing him late last night after you were already half asleep. It had been too late then to mess around but your plan had been to have quite the enjoyable morning and now Rossi was trying to ruin it.
"You're not leaving," you stated surely, making him smile a little.
"I have to honey. It'll be a quick meeting and then I'll be back before I have to leave for work, I promise."
As he looked down to put his other shoe on, you pulled the covers from your body and made your way over to the edge of the bed, getting up to stand in front of him. You still had on your usual nightgown but pushed the straps down from your shoulders and let it drop to the floor, leaving you completely bare and catching his attention.
Aaron stopped his actions to look, foot halfway in his shoe as his eyes raked you up and down, recognizing the look in your eyes.
"Sweetheart, I-
You cut him off with a kiss, arms throwing themselves around his neck and he couldn't help but respond, his hands finding your hips, pulling you in close. Your tongue danced with his as you pressed your core into him, earning a grunt and tightened grip. You pulled away from his lips just long enough to whisper in his ear.
"I want you Aaron Hotchner. Right now. Don't leave me."
He let out a breath, nuzzling your neck and making a move to remove the shoe he had put on on and step out of the other one before turning you to push you up against the wall.
"How can I refuse you when you're like this," he said, pulling his neatly tucked shirt out of his trousers and over his head, diving in for another deep kiss, hands placed on both cheeks. Your own hands busied themselves with removing his belt and undoing his pants just as his phone rang. He pulled away and you almost smacked the damn phone out of his hand as he answered it.
"Hey David."
Getting an idea, you acted on it, the raging desire of wanting Aaron to fuck you, fueling you. Dropping to your knees, you slid his pants and briefs down, swatting his hand away when he went to stop you.
"I-uh got up a little late-
You interrupted whatever he was planning on saying by taking all of him in your mouth, eagerly sliding his length in and out, not holding back. You looked up at him and saw that he had pulled the phone away so he could lean his head against the wall, holding back a groan. A second later, he cleared his throat and spoke to Rossi quickly.
"I won't be able to make it to the meeting, I'll see you later at the office."
Ending the call and throwing his phone carelessly onto the bed behind him, he moaned as you kept up your motion, one hand sliding through your hair to hold your head and the other bracing himself against the wall.
A few strokes later, you felt him tense up and pull himself out of your mouth, bringing you back up and turning you around to face the wall, pushing you to lean over just a little. You steadied yourself with your hands up against the wall and didn't even get a chance to take a breath before he filled you completely, making you cry out in pleasure.
You met him thrust for thrust, taking him as deep as you could, moaning his name over and over. He held you up, arm splayed across your body, hand moving over your breasts, tugging and pulling on your overly sensitive nipples.
"Fuck Aaron, I'm gonna come.."
Both of your breaths were ragged and his pace picked up in the slightest, telling you that he was close as well.
"I'm close too baby-
His hand moved from your nipples to slip between your slick folds, finding your clit and pressing down in circular movements, shooting a burst of pleasure through your body. Feeling you clench around him as you came, Aaron grunted and groaned, letting himself go inside of you, panting in your ear as he slowed his movements.
Your arms were on fire from their upright position on the wall as you breathed through the mind fog, your body tingling, barley feeling the small kisses Aaron gave you on your shoulder.
Once he pulled himself out, he stepped back, lying down on the bed, chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. Chuckling, you went into the bathroom to clean yourself up. He came in a little later, turning the shower on and waited patiently to join him before the two of you took turns washing each other, exchanging loving kisses all the while.

Drunk and Disoriented
Prompt: You interrupt Aaron’s day to tell him that you might have…been arrested.
You genuinely never thought you’d find yourself in this predicament. You were never the rowdy type, you were a straight A student from middle school all the way through college. It was just suppose to be a fun night out with some of the girls to let off a little bit of steam after a grueling week of work, but somehow it escalated to the cops being called, you put in handcuffs and now having to call your FBI husband while he’s in the middle of a case at work to explain.
After not answering his cell, you convinced the police officer to let you call one more person-though the river of tears falling from your face probably helped a little.
“Hey Y/N?” Emily’s voice greeted.
“Hey Em.” Relieved that she picked up the call, you sniffled. “Is Aaron there? Could I talk with him?”
“Yeah, of course, we’re all here. I’ll hand you over now.”
You waited until the familiar deep voice of your husband spoke before breaking down into another sob.
“Aaron- I don’t know what happened.- I was with the girls and there was a fight and I’m drunk and handcuffed.” You paused so you could gulp in a breath of air before rambling some more. “I think I might be going to jail. I can’t go to jail Aaron. Please come get me. Please.”
“Y/N. I need you to take a deep breath for me, ok sweetheart.”
You did as he said, momentarily snapping out of your panic at his stern but caring words.
“Ok.” After he audibly heard you take a breath, he continued.
“I’ll on my way. Could you hand the phone over to the officer that’s with you?”
“Yeah.”
You offered your phone to the cop that was standing a few feet from you with your hands handcuffed from the front but he just shook his head.
"I don't need to speak with him. Just tell him you'll be booked at the Alexandria Detention Center."
Before you could start crying again, Aaron's voice rang through clear to you.
"I'll see you in less than 10. Don't worry, everything will be ok."
"Ok, Aaron. I love you."
"I love you too."
You hung up and handed your phone back to the cop before he helped you up from your sitting position on the curb and assisted you to sit in the backseat of the cop car. You don't even know where your other friends ended up or if they were being carted off to jail like you.
As he got into the car and began driving, you leaned your head back and closed your eyes, trying not to become nauseous from the "spins". Your mouth was dry with a the lingering taste of tequila while your wrists were becoming sore from wringing your hands in the cuffs that seemed to be just a little too tight. You were sure you looked like a racoon from all the crying and to top it all off, you're pretty sure you left your jacket back at the bar. The strapless cocktail dress was doing nothing to keep the cold plastic and A/C from chilling you.
All of a sudden, the squad car lurches to a stop, causing you to open your eyes and look around, seeing a ton of red and blue lights.
"What the hell is this?" the cop spoke to himself before getting out.
You scooted up closer to the plastic barrier to see better and spotted 2 black SUV's stopped in front of the car, Aaron and Morgan both exiting from one and rest of the team from the other. To say that Aaron looked pissed was an understatement.
You couldn't hear what they were saying but you did see Aaron flash his badge in the officer's face and point over to you. Then like that, the officer came over and opened up the door as Aaron popped his head in.
"Come on, let's get you out of here," he said, unbuckling your seatbelt and taking your cuffed hands in his, helping you out and adjusting your dress for you as the officer quickly removed the handcuffs.
Everything was happening so fast it was making you dizzy but it didn't matter once you felt the warmth of Aaron's suit jacket wrap around your shoulders and his arm protectively pull you close as you both walked over to his SUV.
"This is so embarrassing. I'm so sorry, Aaron," you mumbled, feeling bad that you interrupted their work on catching a killer to come help you.
"Don't apologize. The officer was in the wrong. You did nothing that warranted his behavior."
His tone was sharp but you know he was still just fuming at the cop, not you. He opened the passenger door open for you but you didn't make a move to get in. Instead, you turned to face him and fall into his chest, crying for the millionth time that night. He gave you the hug you were craving and kissed the top of your head, his voice now softer and sweet in your ear.
"It's alright. You're with me now. Just take a breath."
Just like on the phone, you listened to him and stopped crying enough to take in a shaky breath and let it out as his tight embrace loosened so he could look at you.
"That's it. Deep breaths."
He wiped your face and you couldn't help but let out a little chuckle.
"I didn't know you were gonna send the whole brigade to get me. I wish I didn't look like a rabid raccoon."
He smiled and looked over at his team who were talking with the officer, surrounding him as he looked completely uncomfortable and intimidated.
"They wouldn't stay behind even if I told them to. You mean a lot to them and you needed our help. Plus, I wouldn't say rabid raccoon. More like a sleepy lemur."
He laughed at his own joke as you slapped his chest in return.
"Gonna make some sweets for them when we get home," you said, thinking out loud, wondering if you had enough flour and sugar.
"I don't think so. I'm gonna drive you home and you're going to take a hot shower, dress in one of my college t-shirts you love so much, take some Advil with lots of water and go to bed," he ordered with a look that was suppose to be stern but you could see through it.
"Mm. Fine Mr. Hotchner. Only because I am really tired. But come tomorrow, it's on."
Another small smile from him as he helped you into your seat and buckled you in, giving you a small kiss before closing your door. You watched from the side mirror as you watched him walk over to the team and most likely discuss what was happening before coming back over and getting in the drivers seat.
He held your hand and traced light patterns on your skin, almost lulling you into a sleep as you closed your eyes.

Alibi
The morning had gone seemingly well, having the day off, you were able to take care of a lot of errands you had been putting off such as pulling all of the weeds from your backyard that managed to weasel their way back in even after drenching them in weed killer.
You were so engrossed with picking them and listening to one of your favorite podcasts, you almost missed hearing the doorbell ringing. Taking the gloves off, you paused your podcast and went inside to answer the door, slightly surprised to see two very professional people standing outside.
"Good evening ma'am. I'm Special Agent DiNozzo with NCIS and this is Agent McGee, mind if we ask you a few questions regarding Karen Moss?"
You shifted your weight nervously, stomach turning at the sound of your friends name.
"What's wrong? Did something happen?"
They shared a solemn look between the two of each other, telling you everything you needed to know.
"Her body was found this morning a few streets away and based on her call history, you were the last person to speak with her before her death. May we ask where you were last night around 11pm?"
You covered your mouth in shock, not believing that they just told you that your close friend died, let alone was possibly murdered and know were questioning you as if you might be a suspect. You thought back about the time they were referring to and memories of Jethro and you tangled together in your bed sheets popped into your mind. You thought about telling them, not sure if they even worked with Jethro, but decided on giving them the simplified version instead.
"I was here. With my boyfriend.."
"Is he here now to verify your whereabouts?" DiNozzo asked, taking a small peek over you as if he'd catch a glimpse of someone fleeing. Were all NCIS so suspicious?
"No, but I can give you his number. His name is Leroy Gibbs. His number is-
"Wait, sorry. Leroy Gibbs?" Agent DiNozzo interrupted, facial expression disbelieving. "Grey hair, high and tight haircut, broody mysterious Leroy Gibbs?"
You chuckled a little at his choice of words to describe your boyfriend, seeing how well he made an impression on people.
"Well not usually broody around me but yes, I guess you could say that. Why? Do the two of you know him?"
Once again, the two agents shared a look, this time one of confusion and awe.
"Uh, could you just hang on one second," DiNozzo asked. "I'll be right back."
You stood there with Agent McGee who looked like he wanted say something, but didn't as Agent DiNozzo walked a few paces, pulling out his phone and dialing a number.
"So was Kathy murdered? You said her body was found. When I talked with her last night, she said she was on her way to meet up with someone for a blind date," you asked McGee who was focused on the phone call Agent DiNozzo was having.
"Well Abby was able to go through the Lieutenant's phone and her number was the last dialed. We were just following- Uh yes- Well I wasn't sure- Of course boss, I'll tell McGee."
Agent DiNozzo came back over before murmuring to Agent McGee.
"Gibbs wants us to bring her in for protection. I told him you'd explain to him why we questioned his girlfriend without letting him know."
"What do mean, me? You're the one that had Abby look up the phone records."
"Just take one for the team McProbie. He's still mad at me for the whole coffee incident. Plus, you owe me."
You watched the two supposed Federal Agents argue like siblings, neither one of them wanting to be in the line of Jethro's mood and honestly it was kind of funny. Jethro never really talked much about his team but you had only been seeing him for a few months and 9 times out of 10, the two of you weren't doing much talking when you saw each other.
You decided to break up the little tiff the two of them were having in order to save some time.
"Alright, well while the two of you sort all that out, I'm going to change and lock up the house before we leave."
"Sounds good," Agent DiNozzo responded before going back to bickering with his partner.
- - - -
You took another sip from the little paper cup of water Agent David had given you as you waited in the conference room. She wanted to know about you and Jethro but you didn't divulge much information, knowing Jethro liked his personal life kept close and unknown for the most part. It wasn't long before the door opened and your boyfriend walked in along with Agent DiNozzo and David. You decided against giving Jethro a hug or kiss in front of his subordinates, although the both of them looked like they'd love nothing more than to see that happen.
You all sat down at the conference table except Agent DiNozzo who was wound up tighter than a jack in the box.
"Did Kathy give you a description of this blind date she was seeing?" Jethro started the questioning with. You spoke about everything you knew from the phone call you had with Kathy, tearing up towards the end, still not believing your friend was dead.
Jethro reached out to hold your hand and give you a tissue to wipe your eyes with, making his agents stare in interest at the caring gesture.
"It's like I'm in an alternate Gibbs reality," DiNozzo whispered to Agent David.
Jethro shot him a look before speaking. "Why aren't the two of you putting out a BOLO on this guy?"
"On it boss," Agent DiNozzo spoke quickly, leaving the room with Agent David following close behind, shutting the door after them.
"I think you should stay with me just in case until we catch the killer," he offered, standing up.
"Ok," you squeaked, not wanting to do much talking anymore.
"Come ere," he ordered softly, pulling you to your feet and into his arms for a hug. You accepted it eagerly, breathing in his scent, calming you down a bit.
Once you were better, the two of you walked out of the room and into the squad room, not expecting to be stared at by almost everyone there.
"What kind of reputation do you have with the opposite sex to make everyone look at me like the new zoo exhibit?" you asked Jethro, making him chuckle.
"They're just being nosy. Ignore them."
Jethro stopped Agent DiNozzo from asking anymore questions about the two of you as well as pulling you away from a very animated Forensic Scientist that seemed to have had entirely too much caffeine.
Jethro accompanied you back to your house where you packed a bag before driving you to his house, making a drawer available for you in his bedroom.
"I get my own drawer now. Things are really becoming serious, aren't they?" you teased him.
"Hey, I'm not the one who told my agents that I was your boyfriend," he retorted.
"Should I not have?" you asked genuinely worried that you had overstepped a boundary. He pulled you into his arms, staring into your eyes and tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.
"I don't mind the title. Just know that they're gonna have a million questions for you now," he stated, referring to his very curious agents. You smiled, giving him a peck on the lips and loving the new stage you both were now in.
"That's alright. I'll be sure to tell them how you love it when I give you back scratches while we cuddle together and watch movies."
Your joking was cut short as his fingers pressed themselves into your ribs, effectively tickling you till the both of you were on the bed, him hovering above you.
"You know, had it not been for you, I wouldn't have had an alibi for last night," you told him, running your fingers through his hair.
"Must of slipped my mind but," he murmured into your skin, kissing your shoulder. "I don't exactly remember how last night went. Maybe you can help jog my terrible memory."
Laughing at his playfulness, you played into it, pulling him in for a passionate kiss, ready to remind him exactly what happened that night.

Honey-Do
You swore if you scrubbed anymore, you were sure the paint would come off as you took a step back from your car to admire just how sparkly clean you made it.
Ever since Vance let you know that Jethro was arrested for assault and being kept at the Navy jails, you did what you could to cope, which included cleaning, fixing, and rearranging just about everything in the house, with the exception of the basement of course. You decided to take some "time off" to be there for Jethro.
After he came home with his new furry friend and Vance officially suspended him, the both of you have had quite a bit of time together which was quite nice in the beginning but there was only so much the two of you could do in a day. The both of you were so use to being workaholics, it almost felt weird to spend practically every hour of the day together.
This morning Jethro left to pick up some boat part and most likely get breakfast at the diner in order to stretch out the hours of being occupied. You had already went for a 2 mile run, planted some tomatoes in the back garden and bought Lucy a cute new sweater that looked much better than her bandages.
After putting all of the car cleaning supplies away, you headed inside to take a shower and make a little something to eat.
As you and Lucy shared some eggs and bacon at the dining room table, you heard Jethro come through the front door, holding a hunk of metal and cup of coffee.
Lucy's tail gave a wag as he came over, stealing a piece of bacon and giving you a peck on the lips.
"Car looks clean," he complimented as you smiled.
"Just finished. Maybe I can clean your truck up too today. Lord knows it's in need of some TLC."
He went to fill his cup of coffee, stopping to look at the long list of things to do around the house, that was stuck to the fridge, each one crossed out or checked off.
"I thought we said we would do these things equally?"
"Well you've been gone all morning and I...might've gotten bored."
He let out a sigh that told you he was feeling some type of way.
"Well now what am I suppose to do?"
"Well you got a new piece for the boat, why not work on that?"
"Because I'm still waiting on the other material to come back in stock. There was a lot of things on this list, honey, you could've at least saved me one thing."
You didn't really know what to say as he filled him coffee and silently left for the basement, taking Lucy with him.
"Little traitor," you mumbled towards the grey pittie.
For the next few minutes, you just sat there, appetite now gone, thinking about what Jethro said. You could understand why he was frustrated. Just like you, he needed to do things to keep him occupied, to keep his thoughts from consuming him whenever he got a spare moment of time to relax, especially now that he was suspended.
Knowing you should make it up to him, you emptied your leftovers into Lucy's bowl and washed your dishes before grabbing the to-do list and starting a new one. You'd be lying if you said you didn't purposefully make some of the tasks available, such as putting a nice size scratch in the floor, taking one of the screws from the table chair and throwing it out, and even deflating one of your tires just a little so that it was noticeable.
Once all of that was done and the list was newly made, you headed down into the basement, seeing Jethro in his mechanic jumpsuit, working on the engine. His face was hard, focusing on whatever it was he was doing as Lucy lied down on the big comforter beside him.
"Sweetheart," you started, getting him to take a second to stop and look at you. "I'm sorry about the list, I know how much you need the tasks and I didn't think about that."
A couple seconds went by as he stared at you before a small smile graced his lips, pulling you over to sit on his lap, letting the wrench sit atop of the engine block.
"You don't need to apologize for anything. I shouldn't have gotten frustrated."
He pressed a kiss to the side of your head as you pulled the piece of paper out.
"Well as a piece offering, I've made a new list for you. With tasks that I know only you can get done."
He read the paper out loud, chuckling a little when he reached the make Lucy a dog house part and held you a little tighter in his arms.
"The deflated tire is definitely a big deal, I'll have to start with that one," he said, a look of excitement twinkling in his eye, happy that he had newfound projects.
Smiling at him, you leaned in for a makeup kiss, even though you wouldn't even really consider the whole event as a "fight".
"You know. There are other ways we can keep busy that doesn't include home improvement and boat parts," you hinted, pulling back and giving him a look.
"Oh yeah? Like what?" He knew exactly what you meant by the spark of mischief you saw in his eyes. Standing up, you took his hand and led him away from the dirty boat parts, as he followed willingly.

Afraid
Prompt: You've reached your breaking point and decide to break up with Gibbs. He comes home to find a note from you and tries to change your mind.
Note: So much angst, you might cry. 😭
You walked through the house one more time, remembering all the memories made in each room. The numerous dinners eaten together in the little dining room while talking about each others day. The movies watched late at night in the living room on the outdated tv you aways gave him shit about. And the deep meaningful talks you both had down in the basement as he sanded some piece of wood and shared his expensive Bourbon with you. Memories that didn't happen very much anymore and had been replaced with dinners by yourself and an empty bed as he locked himself away with his tools and alcohol.
You placed your hand written note down on his workbench where you were sure he would see it before picking up the discarded USMC hoodie next to it. Bringing it to your nose, you inhaled the warm musky scent you'd grown to love and closed your eyes, holding back the tears. Taking the hoodie with you, you went back upstairs and put it in the box of your things before carrying it out and placing the spare key under his porch mat, locking the door behind you.
You drove to your own home, an hour an a half away, dropped your box on the floor by your shoes and curled up on your coach, now wearing his hoodie and burying yourself in a thick throw blanket. You turned the tv on to some show but couldn't focus on anything. Consumed by heartbreak, you finally let the tears fall and the sobs rack your body. You cried until your chest and head hurt, the blanket and hoodie sleeves absorbing everything, and your eyes becoming heavy from exhaustion. Only then were you able to give your racing brain a break as you fell asleep.
-----
Your phone ringing woke you up, the living room dark except the light emitting from the tv that was still playing. Looking at your phone screen, you saw Jethro's contact photo and your heart clenched. Wanting nothing more than to hear his voice, but knew if you talked with him, he would convince you to come back, you sent the call to voicemail. A few seconds of silence went by before your screen lit up again.
You declined the call again and threw your hands over your face, trying not to start sobbing again. A minute later a different ping sounded and you brought the phone in view.
Jethro - 1 Voicemail
You unlocked your phone and pressed the play button, listening as Jethro's voice sounded from the other side.
"Y/N....Please just answer my call.."
His voice sounded defeated and tired.
"...Look, I get why you left and I'm sorry...I just can't let this be the last of us...I need you see you. I'm on my way...just please open the door for me."
You looked at the time. 1:22am. You thought about grabbing your car keys and leaving before he got there but where would you go? Just drive aimlessly around until you thought he went back home? You could just ignore him when he knocked at your door, pretending you weren't home. Unless he decided to use his own spare key he had for your place.
You didn't get a chance to make a decision before a soft knock sounded at the door, making you jump. How was he already here? A moment went by and another knock.
Hesitantly, you got up and went over, looking through the peephole and seeing Jethro standing outside, still wearing his work dress shirt, the top few buttons undone and his hair disheveled, telling you he had been anxiously running his hand through it. He went to knock a third time but you opened the door.
He stood there, blue eyes staring at you, pain clearly showing through. You took in not only his appearance that looked like he hadn't slept in weeks, but also the faint smell of whiskey coming from him.
"I made you cry," he stated sadly, reaching his hand out to caress your cheek but you turned away, letting his hand drop to his side.
"Can we talk about this at least?"
You grew irritated at his words, quickly replying, "We have talked about this Jethro. Multiple times. And you shut me out like I'm not important enough to talk to, but you seem to be able to talk with Sloane just fine."
He sighed and rubbed his face, not saying anything. Tears stung at your eyes, knowing his visit was going to be a waste of time and hope.
"Like now. You can't say that you want to talk about it and then clam up. I'm done waiting for you to give me something- anything to work with. Good bye Jethro."
You went to close the door on him but he stopped it with his hand.
"I'm sorry. I know I shut you out. I know I shouldn't. But I'm scared Y/N. I'm scared that if I let you in, really let you in, I'm gonna love you like I loved Shannon. Or more. And then what if something happens? What if I lose you like I lost her? Like I lost Kelly? You saved me from my worst, if I lose you, I wont be able to handle it. I can't go through that again."
A few tears fell from his eyes as he ranted, almost in a panic. You'd never seen this side of him before, so vulnerable, so distraught.
"Being with you has healed that hole in my heart since losing Shannon and Kelly. You've made me feel greater than I've ever felt in so long. You're the reason I wake up and fall asleep with a smile. I don't have anyone like you Y/N. You're my everything. Please don't leave me. Please."
You couldn't stand seeing him in such a state, practically begging you with tears in his eyes. You opened the door and pulled him in, hands cradling his face. His eyes closed at the gesture, tentatively holding you by the waist.
"I know you're scared Jethro. I'm scared too. Every day you put your life in real danger. I've never loved someone as much as I love you and just the thought of losing you breaks me. I'm not as strong as you when you lost the girls. But I'm willing to take the chance, knowing the risk. Because you're worth it. We're worth it. I just need more communication from you. Tell me what you're feeling, what you're going through. Doesn't even have to be all the time, I just need something."
The last part came out as almost a whisper as you pressed your forehead against his, your hands moving to rest on his chest, silence now taking over. He pressed a kiss to your head, and pulled you into a complete embrace.
"Ok."
The two of you stayed like that for minutes, calming your breathing as your tears dried before he pulled back, wiping your cheeks. You did the same for him and gave him a small smile, getting one in return.
"Can I kiss you?" he asked, voice hoarse with emotion. You found it endearing hearing him ask for permission.
"Please."
He brought you in close, kissing your lips firmly, as if it was the last kiss he'd get from you. You sighed into it, a wave of relief washing over you that the fight was finally over with.
When you two pulled back, he looked over at your makeshift bed on the couch before back at you.
"Is there room for one more over there?"
Instead of answering, you took his hand and led him over, waiting for him to take off his shoes and lie down first before settling in next to him, fitting perfectly in his arms as the tv continued playing. You felt a deep sigh escape him as his body relaxed. It wasn't long before the both of you were fast asleep, holding onto each other tightly.

A Visit
Note: A short one but filled with all the right amount of tension. (:
Your face scrunched up in determination as you pulled yourself up one more time, the burn in your arms mentally pushing you further. Just one more is what you kept telling yourself. You were 5 pull-ups from breaking your record and you’d be damned if the exhaustion kept you from achieving it. Soft rock music played in the background as you could feel the sweat beading down your back and forehead, the small basement windows didn’t do much to cool you down during your workout. Jethro had installed the pull up bars for you, saying something about load bearing beams and it was safer to install them down in the basement. He just forgot to tell you how hot it got down there.
You lifted yourself up one last time before dropping to the floor with a guttural cry of accomplishment. The cold polished concrete floor felt nice against your overheated skin. You took a minute to catch your breath before going over to turn the music up a little louder and begin some simple stretches.
Starting in the butterfly position on your yoga mat, you leaned all the way forward, your forehead almost touching your toes and counted to 10. You moved onto some hamstring stretches and then some hip crossovers when you spotted Jethro at the top of the stairs.
“How long have you been standing there?” you asked from the floor with a smile.
"Not long enough," was his cheeky reply as he descended the stairs and stood over you. He was dressed in his work attire, making you wonder if he was just here for a visit or if he had yet to change into his casual clothes.
You sat up on your hands and crossed your legs in a sitting position, cocking your head to the side with a smirk.
"Here for work or pleasure?"
He kneeled down in front of you, his large hands resting on your thighs as he leaned in for a kiss.
"Why not both?"
You gave him what he wanted, sitting up so you could properly wrap your arms around his neck, running your fingers through his short hair. Making out with Jethro was definitely one of your favorite past times. He always took his time, each kiss filled with love and his hands never stayed in one place for too long. Like in the moment, his hands moved from your thighs to cradle your face, fingers creeping towards the back of your neck, angling your head up for a deeper kiss, earning a small moan from you as his tongue met yours.
Just as you were about to really get into it, uncrossing your legs and kneeling on your knees so you were both at the same height, he pulled away, peppering kisses down your neck.
"As much as I'd love to continue this, I've got Torres waiting in the car outside for me. I just wanted to stop by and tell you that I might be late for dinner tonight. We're on our way to follow up on a lead."
You groaned at his words and threw him an almost pouty frown.
"You get me all worked up and then just leave me needy. Terrible."
He chuckled and looked down with a smile. "We're in the same boat sweetheart. I come home to find you sweaty and stretching in positions that'd have any man drooling. I can't even stand up right now."
You licked your suddenly dry lips while glancing down at the obvious bulge in his dress pants, before he gave you a warning look.
"I'll make it up to you tonight. I promise."
You rolled your eyes at his insinuation and answered him with a peck on the lips.
"You better."
It only took a few minutes for Jethro to gain control of his body again as you used the time to head upstairs and package some leftover homemade enchiladas for his team, spotting Torres through the window, drumming his fingers on the open car window, clearly becoming impatient.
You met Jethro at the front door, handing him the tupperware of food with a kiss.
"Be safe," you told him, just like every time he left for work.
"I'll try," he teased with a wink, walking out the door. You gave Torres a wave which he reciprocated, eyes lighting up when he saw Jethro headed over to him with food. You were sure the quickest way to his heart was a good home cooked meal.
You waited till they drove off, the car no longer in visibility before shutting and locking the door, headed back down to the basement to finish your workout session.

How do you think Gibbs would react to significant other getting covid?
Succeeded to get it for the second time
I think he would be strict about the amount of rest and fluids they should be getting, making sure that they ate and if they didn’t, he’d pick something up on the way home from work.
If they’re one of the people that are really scared of Covid and don’t want him to get sick, he’d tell them it’s just another sickness, there’s nothing to be scared about, and he’s already been injected with so many things in the Marine Corps, it wouldn’t effect him.
If they weren’t one of the people that were really scared of Covid, he would tease them about how terrible their immune system was and he swears they’re doing it on purpose just so he can take extra care of them, which he does not mind at all.
Either way, there would be more cuddles, more phone calls to check on them when he’s at work and less time spent down in the basement so that he’s right there if you need him. 😭

Training Part 3
Prompt: Enemies to Lovers type. You and Gibbs never got along, and luckily you never really had to work with each other…until now.
Part 1 Part 2
It had been days after your latest lead and both investigative teams had come up with zilch. You and Tobias had returned to the Bureau to continue working on other tasks and that had been the last time you saw Special Agent Gibbs.
“These crime scene photos are trash Stevens. I can’t even make out the license plate number in this one,” you chastised your team probie. His cheeks burned pink as he adjusted his unnecessarily large glasses and scrambled to grab at some of the prints.
“Uh, sorry Agent L/N. I’ll uh- I’ll go get some new ones.”
He scurried out of the conference room, passing by Fornell who raised his eyebrows and looked over at you, knowing how much you terrified the probies.
“You can’t keep scaring off the new Agents, L/N. He’s the 3rd one this month,” he joked, stepping into the room and picking up one of the crime scene photos, squinting his eyes as he brought it closer to his face. “But you are right. These pictures are trash.”
“Any leads on the Ramos case?” you asked, changing the subject.
“That’s what I came in here to tell you. Gibbs and his team managed to find out about a meeting that Ramos’ boss is having with a very high profile drug runner tonight. The plan is to plant Ramos in the meeting with a wire and either get his boss to confess to the killing of Petty Officer Killbourne or grab some of his DNA for a match to the murder weapon used.”
You stood from your seat and grabbed your jacket that hung over the back.
“Well I’m ready when you are. Let’s go-
“Well just a sec L/N. I still need you to finish transcribing the crime scene photos with Agent Stevens and then you can join me. Meet us for a briefing at NCIS at 7pm.”
You sighed audibly and dropped your jacket down onto the table.
“And would it kill you to be a little nicer to Stevens? Maybe smile a little.”
You put on the biggest fakest smile you could muster before dropping it and rolling your eyes. With a sigh from Tobias, he left the room, leaving you with a table of blurry pictures.
————
You stepped into the NCIS squad room at exactly 6:50pm, seeing Fornell already there, chuckling with the team and sipping on a coffee.
“Alright, let’s hear it. What’s the plan,” you interrupted, sitting at the edge of Agent DiNozzo’s desk, successfully blocking his view. Your eyes briefly locked with Agent Gibbs but broke contact once Agent David started explaining the op.
“The plan is simple. Ramos’ boss will be at the Crimson night club with our drug runner and Ramos will be in attendance. McGee and Fornell will be in charge of surveillance, Tony and I will be undercover as employees and you and Gibbs undercover at a nearby table. Ramos will bring up the murder, hopefully getting some convicting evidence from his boss or Plan B, he gets us some of his DNA to give to Abby.”
You nodded in understanding, the plan seeming pretty cut and dry. As everyone got ready and you got dressed in your undercover outfit, you noticed Gibbs clearly avoiding you, snagging the last available spot in the charger, leaving you to ride with McGee and Fornell in the surveillance van.
In the nightclub parking lot, Ramos was a nervous wreck. The plan was for him to go in first, meet up with his boss and then we would come in after so as not to raise suspicion. Tony and Ziva were already inside, just in time for the shift change.
"What if he finds out I'm wearing a wire?" he asked as McGee checked him over.
"Run like hell," Tobias joked. You would have almost laughed if Gibbs wasn't standing there, looking all judgmental.
"Everything will be fine. Just act normal, we'll be there every step of the way. If you act nervous or scared, he's gonna know something is up," McGee explained, calming him down a bit.
"I've got eyes on both of our guys," you heard DiNozzo report through your earpiece. "A couple of bodyguards by the VIP Entrance, all armed."
"That's your cue kid," Tobias responded, giving Ramos a hard clap on the back, pushing him towards the club. You all watched him go in and continued watching surveillance from the live building cameras McGee hacked into.
When it was time, you and Gibbs walked into the club together, getting your hands stamped and paying the entry fee. McGee had previously reserved a specific booth that gave you direct line of sight of the VIP section and the both of you sat down, Gibbs making it a point to keep some space between.
Immediately, Ziva came over and pretended to take your drink orders.
"Two exits besides the main. One down the hall next to the bathrooms and another in the kitchen," she updated before leaving. You turned to look at Gibbs and gave him a once over. He was dressed in a suit like usual but this one was personally tailored with a handkerchief and he was adorning an expensive looking watch to give off some "old money" vibes in order to fit in to the scene. You weren't gonna deny, he looked delicious.
He glanced at you, noticing you staring and gave you a warning look, making you smirk and look away towards the dance floor while moving a little to the sound of the music. Ziva returned a minute later with fake drinks that you wished weren't. Between the sexual tension you were creating and just the party atmosphere, you were craving some form of a buzz.
The both of you took turns watching the meeting happen out of the corner of your eyes before something happened.
"I-uh-I gotta go to the bathroom," you heard Ramos say before watching him get up abruptly and walk off.
"Shit. He's gonna blow this op." Tobias cursed.
"Not gonna happen," you said, getting up and following him, hearing Gibbs protest but follow as well. You caught up to Ramos in the dark hallway before he reached the bathroom. You grabbed him by the arm and spun him around.
"What exactly do you think you're doing?"
"I-I don't know if I can do this. They're not even talking about the murder, how am I suppose to bring it up?"
He wiped the sweat forming on his forehead as Gibbs came over.
"If you can't get him to talk about it then just grab some DNA. Put a napkin in his empty glass and we'll have one of ours grab it."
"Heads up guys. We've got one of the bodyguards coming over to you. Get out of there," McGee warned.
You fixed Ramos' hair and pushed him towards the men's bathroom.
"You're almost done Ramos, don't mess it up."
Once he was inside, you looked over and saw the bodyguard McGee was referring to. He hadn't spotted Ramos but there wasn't enough time for you and Gibbs to leave before he got there so you did what any undercover agent would do in that scenario. You leaned up against the wall, lifted your leg to hook onto Gibbs' waist, and pulled him in for an intense kiss.
You were genuinely surprised when he kissed you back, grabbing your exposed thigh where the slit of your dress opened up and stepped in closer. No amount of alcohol could measure up to the buzz the whole interaction was giving you. You ran your fingers through his hair and draped your arms over his shoulders as your tongues danced with one another.
He pulled away from your lips before dipping his head down to kiss your neck. You let out a breathy sigh and closed your eyes at the contact, your neck being an extra sensitive area.
"Focus, Y/N," Gibbs spoke against your skin, his other hand sliding up your side, dangerously close to running over your breast.
You opened your eyes and looked around, seeing the bodyguard and Ramos exit the bathroom together, both seemingly fine.
"He-uh...They're going back..Don't think he suspected anything," you managed to speak, still caught up in way Gibbs was making you feel.
He ran his lips to your ear, nipping at it before whispering, "I've barely touched you and you're falling apart. How long has it been?"
You were thankful he spoke quietly enough that the team couldn't hear through your mic but peeved by his question. Mainly because he was right. It had been awhile since someone touched you in such a way, let alone, a hot silver fox running an undercover operation.
"I think we can go back now," you replied, avoiding his question and straightening yourself, before walking back to your booth, him following closely behind. You sucked down your fake drink, suddenly dying of thirst and tried calming your raging hormones. Gibbs slid in beside you, now leaving zero space between the two of you, looking completely in control, annoying the shit out of you.
You were a competitive person and absolutely hated feeling like you lost the upper hand in anything. The way Gibbs teased you was no different and you weren't gonna let it slide.
So when you took your hand and let it rest on his leg, feeling his muscle flex beneath it, you smirked to yourself. Slowly, you trailed your fingers up and down his thigh, each time getting closer and closer to his growing bulge. The look he gave you was borderline murderous but it didn't phase you at all, if anything, it egged you on.
"DNA is secured, boss," DiNozzo spoke.
You leaned in close to Gibbs, your hand moving to rub the length of his straining bulge, earning a groan, that he covered up with a fake clearing of his throat.
"Boss? You good?" DiNozzo spoke again.
"Yeah, get out of here DiNozzo. You and Ziva. Go with McGee and Fornell. We'll meet you back at the office."
Before Tony could reply, he reached up to remove his earpiece and put it in his pocket, you doing the same but giving it to Gibbs.
He then grabbed your hand before you could go back to touching him and spoke. "What is your plan Agent L/N? Where do you plan on going from here?"
You brought your lips to his, giving him a simple kiss before pulling back.
"I was hoping you could tell me Agent Gibbs. You're the boss."
He looked at you, then your lips. "This is completely unprofessional."
"Then do something about it, Agent Gibbs," you replied, speaking the previous words from the elevator.
A second later, he pulled you out of the booth and lead you out of the club, to the charger outside. As he drove fast down the streets, you had a feeling you weren't going straight to the office.

No pressure whatsoever
Imagine being Gibbs significant other, the team doesn’t know about you and maybe you pass sports lessons as a hobby or part time job.
Gibbs gets a threat on your life so he sends the team to pick you up from your job, you just finished a lesson all hot and sweaty and dinozzo or Torres (your pick) are impressed by you but are held back by the other team member a don’t flirt with case related people and maybe over hear her saying to a student she’s in a relationship
And only when they get to NCIS and she kisses Gibbs it’s revealed
Anyway thank you so so much in advance! I absolutely adore your writing and in love with your blog!! I check it literally everyday! You’re super talented and creative!
Again no pressure or obligation to write my idea, and I’m truly sorry it came out so long, it seemed shorter in my head😅
Again, you’re amazing!

Protective Custody
Note: Love this idea, sorry it took so long!!
You gave the metal whistle a blow, signaling the end of the warm up drill you gave your youth soccer team.
"Cassandra, Kylie! I need to see more effort from you two! Everyone, separate into 2 groups, we're working on defending and attacking, let's go!"
You waited, wiping the small perspiration from your forehead as the mid summer heat beat down on all of you. The training sesh wouldn't be too long today but it was imperative to get some work done before your semi-finals at the end of the week. You substituted your friend's position as coach for the local youth travel team last year as a favor but ended up taking over the position completely after she end up moving states. It was fun work and it kept you busy, keeping you from anxiously waiting for Jethro to come home.
Once the girls divided themselves equally, you assigned a defender, attacker and two goalies and let them pretty much take over from there, only giving occasional pointers.
"Yes, great charge Emily! That's what I like to see!"
"Don't be scared once you pass the defender, Cara! Control that ball and finish on goal!"
After a few more players cycled, you jogged over towards the middle of the play.
"Alright, you guys are doing great but I wanna see a bit more fakes. Jasmine, come here."
You took one of the balls and had Jasmine act as your defender.
"Remember, faking is a great way to mix up your defender and give you an opportunity to get around them."
You proceeded to show them one way of faking, dipping your shoulders while looking over to the left side before giving the ball a rollover and pulling the ball back in the opposite direction, successfully juking Jasmine and giving you a straight shot for a goal. The ball just made it through on the inside corner of the goal and your team gave you a round of applause as well as two well dressed people who were walking over towards you.
"Those are some nice moves, I see why you're the coach," the man dressed in a compression tee and skinny jeans complimented as they got closer.
"Thank you. Can I help you guys with something?"
The woman who was with him flashed a badge and introduced herself.
"I'm special agent Bishop and this is special agent Torres. Agent Gibbs sent us to come and grab you for protective custody."
Your heart dropped into your stomach at the sound of your boyfriend's name.
"Is everything ok? Is Jethro alright?"
"He's fine, we can explain more on the drive to NCIS."
You looked back at your team who all seem super curious to know why their coach was being questioned by federal agents.
"Alright team, practice is cut short today! But I expect everyone to be on their A game tomorrow! Practice those fakes at home!"
All the girls were old enough to either drive or carpool with the girls who did drive, so leaving them there wasn't a problem. Plus, they all seemed grateful to be able to go home considering the heat. Once you collected all of the gear and made Agent Torres carry the ball bag, you put everything in your car and joined the two of them in their own cruiser.
"So I saw some of the drills you were doing out there, you know I use to play some soccer myself in high school," Agent Torres spoke proudly, giving you a flirty smile in the rear-view mirror.
"I believe that Agent Torres. You seem to keep yourself in pretty good shape."
"Maybe after we get this situation all figured out, I could show you some of my moves. Maybe help you out as assistant coach?"
You watched Agent Bishop look over at him and give him a look which you chuckled at.
"I'll have to think about that one Agent Torres. Don't know if your boss would be able to spare you with enough time."
"Ah, I'm sure it'll be fine. Gibbs loves me."
They filled you in on the threat that had been made on you while interrogating a suspect which also included you finding out that Jethro had referred to you as a "friend" that needed to be picked up. You weren't so much hurt as you were surprised. You knew Jethro would never deny your relationship if ever asked but you didn't think he would still keep it a secret once there was a valid threat against your life.
Entering the NCIS building for the first time was a bit intimidating, especially when you were sticky with sweat and dressed in some workout shorts and loose fitting tank. Your plan had been to change and shower at home after practice, not be picked up by agents.
"I'm sure we can find you something to change into. I have an extra shirt but it's not exactly your size," Torres offered with that same flirtatious smile you found amusing. The elevator doors opened up and you followed them out.
"I appreciate the offer Agent Torres but I'm fine for now."
You all walked by the cubicles and spotted Jethro getting up from his desk to meet you. You gave him a hug, glad that the both of you were safe, at least for now, but decided to surprise everyone, including Jethro as you pulled him in for a solid kiss on the lips. You swear you could hear an audible gasp come from either Bishop or Torres.
"Uh, Gibbs. I didn't know ya'll were friends like that," Torres commented as you pulled away, giving Jethro a very pointed look.
"Yeah, I wasn't aware we were just friends either, Jethro."
He gave a small knowing smirk and pulled you in closer, placing a kiss on the side of your head.
"They don't need to know everything," he whispered in your ear.
His answer was good enough for now, but later on, you'd be sure you give him some form of pushback.
"Oh honey. I think I found my new assistant coach if it's alright with you. He's played soccer in the past and told me he'd be able to show me some moves sometime," you brought up, turning to Agent Torres who looked caught off guard.
"Ok, hey. Well Gibbs, I did offer that but that was uh clearly before I knew the two of you uh, you know were together," he stuttered, looking like he wanted to just disappear. You couldn't help but smile and saw that Agent Bishop was doing the same thing.
"Didn't you also offer to let her borrow some of your clothes Nick?" Bishop added. You felt Jethro's hand flex into your back as he stared Torres down, daring him to speak.
"I think I should probably go now."
Before your boyfriend had a chance to say anything, Torres split. You laughed and gave Bishop a fist bump before you turned back to Jethro.
"I do need a change of clothes though, sweetheart. And a shower if you have one."
He grunted in acknowledgment and turned to to his desk, grabbing his go bag.
"I'll walk you to the gym shower."
You smiled and gave Bishop a little wave goodbye before following Jethro out of the bullpen.
