Go For Gold

Face masks are one of the things I truly enjoy. I try to have a weekly pamper session at home, which consists of deep facial cleansing, toning, masking and  massaging the serum.

I have tried many different facial masks, and I must say, I am a sucker for Korean brands. They come in the most adorable packaging and different variants, which honestly excites me like a kid in a candy store.

So when a good friend of mine gifted me with Too Cool For School’s Pumpkin Purifying 24K Facial Mask, I was beyond thrilled. Based on the description I read, it is supposed to treat dry and dull skin. I am used to mask sheets and it was my first time to try the peel off type, so I had to watch a few videos on how to use it properly.

This mask is amazing! My skin felt smooth and refreshed immediately after removal. I looked radiant and fresh, and rubbing my face on my pillow felt absolutely divine. Such a welcome treat after a hard day’s work! Go for gold, darlings. This one is a winner.

Turquoise Nails

As a semi-superstitious nail polish addict, I decided to paint my nails in a happy color on the eve of my birthday. My nail polish of choice was Marks & Spencer Limited Collection in Turquoise. It was easy to use and only needed 2 coats. The color was solid and bright, and it was pretty sturdy.

According to  www.bourncreative.com, the color turquoise  is associated with creativity, good luck, emotional balance, intuition and serenity. All these things I hope to have as I turn a year older.
