One thing that bothers me about the ending of the Lilo and Stitch remake (among the other things people have already rightfully complained about) is how it acts like Nani has to go to college NOW or she's lost her chance forever.

As someone who was raised by a young mother that didn't get to go to college, because she got 2 kids at 18-20, but then went to college in her early/mid 30s when me and my sister were old enough to be left home alone, it just feels really insulting.

It really adds to the harmful mindset that someone's life, especially that of women, is over if they haven't "got their life together" yet before the age of 25.

There would've been no harm in Nani delaying college for like 5-10 years, instead of abandoning her sister during the most vital years of her development only 2-3 months after already having lost her parents. Animated Nani would never.

Repo men took everything from me. I worked at my job for over 4 years and when I went to request PTO for my yearly vacation the system said I have zero recorded work hours at all, and that I'm not even clocked in. Boss said "just go for it then" and slammed the door behind me and when I turned around I couldn't see him through the window even though he was right there to usher me out. No car. Tried getting my wife and kids in an Uber but they all kept pulling up at half a mile per hour sparking and squealing loudly on 4 bare rims and the combined weight of my family cemented the car in place and then we really couldn't go anywhere. Drivers never charged me. I paid in other ways. Had to go and walk ourselves on down to Six Flags Fiesta Texas barefoot, wearing burlap sacks in the summer heat, and when we arrived the entire theme park was nothing but a barren flat of concrete with a bunch of rebar sticking out, loose bolts everywhere, and starkly pale areas of cement where its obvious roller coasters and buildings used to be that blocked it from the accumulated grime of foot traffic and soot and smoke from the nearby highway, which by the way, was completely populated by tow trucks.

The problem with playing smash or pass is that there's a lot of characters which I'm not sexually attracted to but I would fuck in a heartbeat out of sheer curiosity and ego, like I don't find Mickey Mouse attractive at all but if he approached me at a bar and went "Hey sexy, want me to show you my mouseketool?" I would say yes because then I get to tell my friends I fucked Mickey Mouse

Today I saw a pic of a baby cowbird next 2 its nest "parent" and it was so much bigger!!!!! Which is the sort of thing that gets normal people upset about the injustice of nest parasitism but makes *me* worry if baby cowbirds get bird dysmorphia
