he hesitated for a moment beforeputting his own board down, movingit back and forth slightly.

"Yes, you. Hi." Alice shifted the skateboard under her arm and smiled. "Shot in the dark, but you wouldn't happen to know where the best skate spots are around here, would you?"

a slow nod as he still can’t quiteunderstand why he’s being spokento. he doesn’t do well in social situations.

         “uh ---yeah. there’s one a few        blocks from here that i go        to all the time. best one around.”

    he chewed the inside of his lip as he tried to choose a song. he settled on what’s my age again, grinning and air guitaring with the opening riff. “i love rock music. most of the time i listen to it when i’m upset. especially the heavier stuff. when i can’t scream i let the music do it for me.”
