...and I got carried away and made some covers for the rest of my mainline FF discs. FFXIII being a single Xbox title amongst a crowd of Playstation games has never bothered me. Now I’m considering picking up a PS3 copy, if only for the sake of it.

All of the city libraries are ceasing loans on music CDs, meaning there are a crap ton of unused CD poly cases in storage. Being an employee, and having an itch to rehouse some old game discs (and the odd burned Dreamcast or Saturn game), I decided to salvage as many as possible. First port of call: smaller cases for my PS1 Final Fantasy installments.  These are in cases that can hold two discs, but one side has a spindle tall enough to hold two on it’s own. I have enough of these things to justify hacking off the taller spindle from one or two and making some 4-disc cases that take up much less room than the original double jewel case.  Covers were cobbled together by myself using GIMP.

This came to me with a modded Saturn I picked up on eBay for around £50. Decided to look online at loose manuals to complete the sucker, and it was going complete for between £100-150, on the merit of it’s plastic case… wow.
