How Geniuii design things part 6. I'm designing a super unique keyboard based on my experience as a massage therapist, tai chi instructor, serious meditator and personal desire to optimize how I interact with electronics. I think its time I invested in some CAD learning to actually start making some of these things exist in a professionally presentable format. I can only do so much learning at a time though you know? Already learning like 4 software languages and in a few other related classes. https://www.instagram.com/p/ByPIJ8SJp9L/?igshid=12r96jrmgs434

How Geniuii design things. I'm sick of my bag of electronics, power chords, USB sticks, keyboards, etc... so I'm going to make a mobile electronics briefcase. Goals: 1 - Hit button on side, computer starts up and signs in, by the time I open it it's on. 2 - all external USB and bluetooth devices auto connect 3 - keyboard and mouse fold towards me, room for macro keyboards. 4 - laptop + second screen lift Featurecreep/way beyond me options: Laptop batteries to use stuff wherever V2 Become mobile desktop gaming computer using commercial gaming motherboards https://www.instagram.com/p/Bx-0o67Bin7/?igshid=1buxai313zpm7

I made a drawing cuz I make things. Appreciate everyone at Drink and draw on Saturdays that remind me to keep drawing (badly). Practice makes proficiency or whatever. https://www.instagram.com/p/BxnUL2tlbSK/?igshid=1oc3dngamwrar

Making cob is a labor of love. It took me about 5 hours to get a couple 20 gallon totes full of it, but I did it! Now I have to go back into my genius design mode before I put it all together. Fortunately cob dries extremely slowly so I can take my time. I recorded a couple hours of video of me making it, will need to delve into video editing before I can put it up, probably will be a bit. #rocketmassheater #masonryheater #cob #adobehouse #greenliving #livinggreen #livinggreendesign #smogfree #alternativewoodstove #woodstove #makery #diy #billthemaker #lowbudget https://www.instagram.com/p/BrL5RCbFb6q/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=mwlpi71swto0

Hard lesson today. Left my clay and sand out last night and it was too cold to mix and make into cob today. This is me pouting about it. A whole day's production lost. If I had been out cutting firewood I could have made a couple hundred $$. Live and learn I guess No money, no heat, extra sad!! https://www.instagram.com/p/BqxyDyrHpnt/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1nw65xeyddoym

Making cob 1 - Had to find wild clay, bought sand 2 - Stomp mix it with sand and then straw (this was a lot of stomping, need a simple machine to make this easier) Since this was the first time the cob turned out a little sandy, so decided its structural integrity was lacking and decided to apply it as additional thermal mass to the burn chamber. 3- Apply cob to burn chamber Fortunately this stuff dries slow enough I can continue the work tomorrow. Thanks to my friends Kendra and Molly for the help! https://www.instagram.com/p/BqwB3iel-5e/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1nokt07j65ods

Thanks @richard.c.pool for the idea to make a rocket mass heater. Burn chamber is created (sort of) and the clay just needs to dry for a couple of days. Tomorrow I chase down straw, sand, and clay to make cob for the chair (as pictured in the original design) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqqZsZqFFnl/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1t2l26ukl54lk

How Geniuses (Geniuii?) Design things part 2. Instead of an open top I decided to do like a residential HVAC unit and bring in fresh air from outside underneath the unit, which will double as an initial heat shield. Also I will install closeable vents for when I dont want any more cold air going through the system. Today I will clay and assemble the heater, tomorrow I will get ingredients and make Cob, which I can build into a heat bank, and hopefully a heated chair and floor. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bqp8jwnFNAI/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=w8dq70ftv673

I'm thinking that for a while my place being clean will be a reminder that I got dumped right after cleaning it by the woman I cleaned it to impress.

Home training in tiny spaces. My Murphy bed is also an inverted rock wall. I'm gonna have massive thumb and big toe muscles

So I'm making a Murphy bed on top of my bookshelf that has an underside that's a Rockwall. I can get under it and do upside down pushups, but they'll be like horizontal pull-ups
