...that anxiety can make you feel like you have lost your bearings. everything seems like it's weighing down on you when the reality may be far from it.
in such instances, it's important to ground down your senses. go through each of the five senses in your mind and relate it to something in your immediate environment. note something you can see, something you can hear, something you can taste, something you can touch and something you can smell.
this exercise will help you bring your thoughts back to reality and step away from the make believe catastrophe that was troubling you. take a deep breath and calm down ✨
