ok, the kiss on the hand, the kiss on the head, the hugs. everything is very tender and I love it.

But is anyone talking about how the Doctor stops himself from blaming Donna for the cafe accident? …I mean, come on. It's very nice of him not want to blame her or just not tell her. Like he stops him self and says “sorry”.

this 14 Doctor doesn't want to see Donna sad. he just wants her to be okay. and he knows how much Donna blames herself for being a little dumb at times. and the Doctor remembers very well how those words stay in Donna's mind. How she spends all her time telling herself how stupid she is. and he doesn't want that for her.

I think that tortured him for many years. That she couldn't see how brilliant she is. and obviously how much he loves her.

So in this chapter we can see how He lets all the affection he has for Donna show. He will never hide it anymore.

from holding on to blaming her for the coffee, apologizing when he mentions it. and obviously calm her down when she's about to break down and obviously at the end they're both in shock from what they just went through and he can't take it anymore and kisses her head. I think that was not for Donna, but for himself. he needed to do it. knowing that she is there save with him and that he almost lost her.

They love and appreciate each other so much. I really love their dynamics, their jokes and how they annoy each other. … they are the best. the best duo!
