Okay, but like I haven’t posted in over a month, so how?? But also thank you so much. It makes me so happy that wonderful people will continue to interact with my work, even when I don’t have the energy or time that I wish I did to put into it.

i’m genuinely kind of embarrassed about how long it’s been since i touched the fic requests i’m meant to be working on, but i’ve been working so much lately and as soon as i get home i’m exhausted (like i haven’t been this ‘get home and crash by 8pm’ kind of tired in a long time...like lockdown was such a simpler time) 

anywho, i’ve been spending my rare days off catching up on cleaning and other things on my immediate to-do list, and writing has sort of fallen to the wayside for now in terms of priority, but i will be posting again soon! 

(february should be a quieter month for me  😅)

Hey all!

This is the first time I’ve managed to get on here in like (maybe??) a week. I thought I’d take the opportunity to post an update for those waiting on requests. The past week has been hectic with work, and I’ve also managed to fuck up my back, so that has made most of my regular adulting much slower, let alone any recreational stuff. I also went through a brief period of writer’s block, so that didn’t help. 

I want to mention that I also closed my requests the other day. I hadn’t received any in a while, and I also decided that once I post all my current requests, I’m going to focus on my own multi-part Mando fic I’ve been thinking about for ages. I might post a summary to give you an idea of what it’s about, but only once I’ve got the idea properly fleshed out.

Just over 3000 words, and I seem to have found my groove again. If I get a chance to work on it before or after work tomorrow, I may just have this one ready to post by tomorrow night!

1300 words into my next piece (Feels Like Home Again - Cobb Vanth x Reader) and I’m kind of loving writing Din platonically. Like I love the idea of him picking up other outsiders during his travels and being like ‘I like this person’ and just keeping them by his side. Like he is the embodiment of the ‘found family’ trope and I am here for that.

Working on these pieces again...you know those writing sessions where it feels like you’re squeezing out every single word? Like it’s just not flowing to you? Yeah, going through a bit of that at the moment, so it’s really slow progress. But still putting one word after the other, so I’m getting there.

It’s probably just about distraction for me at the moment; I’ve got a back issue that’s giving me grief, and I’m also cramping pretty badly today, so it’s been great fun trying to world build while everything hurts 😓 

Still, going to try and get this out by the end of today!

Another quick update!

I am planning on sitting down tomorrow and working on request pieces since it’s my first day off in a while. 

My next Cobb Vanth x Reader fic is about maybe a third to halfway written, so that will be the first one posted. Then a few Din pieces to go, and even a Boba one coming up!

I have an idea for a series that I would love to write that I had planned on being OC x Din, but thinking now that I have the hang of writing reader fics I might do that instead. I think it’ll be good fun. I might post a synopsis of it to see what ya’ll think!

Anyway, thanks for the patience! I cried at the finale, but I have so many good ideas for things 💗

Just a little update:

I took a little break from writing these past couple of days, mainly because of work and being busy organizing Christmas stuff (how is that only a week away WHAT?) so my posting schedule is a few days out.

I’m going to work on what I can tonight/tomorrow but can’t guarantee it’ll be ready to post.
