He nodded, gesturing to the balcony that was oddly empty for the amount of people that were at the party. Leaning on the banister, he gave a weary sigh, “I don’t know where to start. I want to fix this… fix everything and I don’t know how. I don’t feel like I’m strong enough to keep these kids’ best interests in mind anymore.”

She followed after him to the balcony, half a step behind as she looked back to make sure the kids were fine; as fine as they could all be. Once on the balcony, Clint sighed and immediately she placed a hand on his arm and squeezed. “It’s because you want to do these things, that you’re even thinking of helping them that means you have their best interest at heart. This is more than either of us could have expected, we aren’t qualified but we’re all they have.”
