Keep up the great work, LaxAllStars!

One of my favorite photos from #laxcon. Good time hanging out with @rhinolacrosse and @head_wrapz. Ryan Powell has taught me so much about the Creator’s Game. Great #lacrosse ambassador right there! #growthegame

Tim Nelson - 'Cuse of '85. Called by Roy Simmons, Jr. the "best he ever saw" as a feeder. Three-time First Team All American, Lacrosse Hall of Fame Member, and the first player to do so while using a girl's pocket. (Probably.)

ATTENTION ALL FOLLOWERS: Do not miss out on this footage.
From Youtube:
The 1976 NCAA Division I tournament championship game was played at Brown University in front of 7,504 fans. The undefeated Cornell Big Red, led by lacrosse Hall of Famers Richard M. Moran, Mike French and Eamon McEneaney, defeated Maryland with hall-of-famer Frank Urso, 16 to 13 in overtime. Throughout the 1970s, Cornell University was dominant in lacrosse with four final appearances and three titles and the 1976 and 1977 versions of the Big Red are generally considered to be among the best college lacrosse teams of all time. For the first time in NCAA tournament history, two undefeated teams, No. 1 Maryland and No. 2 Cornell, would meet in the championship game.

My sources tell me this was a prison lacrosse team. I may have zero accurate documentation to support this, but I think we all know it's true.

Don't Be A Nifong, Kids!
So this is a bizarre, probably (but hopefully not) photoshopped pic of Mike Nifong. Since a lot of my Tumblr followers here are young and probably don’t remember, let me tell you a little bit about this sad little man and his life.

Nifong was a North Carolina District Attorney in 2006. Yes, that 2006. As in the year the lacrosse world ground to a halt over an alleged scandal involving some Duke lacrosse players and a crazyperson. (Ask your parents.) As District Attorney for Durham County, Nifong was in charge of the prosecution of the Duke players. Unfortunately for Nifong, the Duke players were completely innocent.
Long story short, Nifong did some very bad things, some even stupider things, and finally became the first D.A. in North Carolina history to be stripped of his legal license and disbarred. The chair of the North Carolina Bar Association (like the NCAA for lawyers) called Nifong’s entire handling of the case a “fiasco” and Nifong a “fraud.” He is currently entwined in a lawsuit with the acquitted Duke players’ families to pay back the legal fees they had to pay to fight Nifong’s erroneous prosecution. He is known to have “no significant assets” besides his house. (In other words: He’s broke.)
To add insult to injury, a news source revealed that Nifong’s dog ate and destroyed his legal license. And all of this simply for lying to the entire country, wrongly accusing three young athletes of life-destroying crimes, and abusing the justice system for his own selfish purposes.
Seems like justice to me. Don’t be a Nifong, kids!
