how would you rate your player activity at the moment? i am interested in applying

activity has been a little slow at the moment. we're currently one admin down due to covid and our US members are still recovering from their long weekend but we're hoping (with the release of our first group event some time this week) that things will pick up again soon.

and of course having new members in the group and new characters to interact with would definitely help to inject more energy into the dash.

Where do you come from? Tongue presses against the inside of his cheek before he speaks, his countenance is calm, “Marquette, Michigan– very lovely town.”

How would you describe yourself as a person? With a gesture to his body, he smiles, “Obviously, I’m very well-dressed–” A nervous chuckle, “But– aside from that, I’m a rational thinker with a killer eye for curation– I was a… museum curator before this.”

How many walkers have you killed? Nose wrinkles; his tone nonchalant, “Not many.”

How many people have you killed? He cants his neck to the side, popping the stiffened joints in his neck, “Not many.”

Are you searching for anybody? A terse smile, “Nope– can’t say I had very many friends– plus, they’re all in Michigan fighting… walkers or something equally gratuitous.”

Why are you here? His nose wrinkles again, eyes searching for something to focus on, “Right before the big outbreak– my mom got sick, so I was taking care of her… here… she was a resident before she died. I didn’t have much reason to leave.”

Would you consider yourself a team player? A shrug, a nonplussed frown pulling at his lips, “Don’t see why not.”

Are you the type of person who will try to make the best out of a bad situation? A soft laugh now, “That’s sort of… my calling. Was always convinced that if I didn’t make it in my field of work, I’d become a comedian. And here I am doing both!”

What skills do you have that will benefit the community and your fellow survivors? A leg crosses over the other, “I’ve proven myself to be reliable and cerebral; and have a certain knack for keeping track of things that need… keeping track of.”

Can you handle yourself in a crisis? A tight smile once more, sucking air through his teeth, “In my own endearing way, sure!”

What are you willing to do to protect the people and things you care about? He blinks slowly, “I hope no one doesn’t answer ‘everything’ to this.”

how long have they been in fairvale: Was a Prescott resident for roughly one year prior to the outbreak (February 2018 - 2 years, 3 months as of June 2020)

occupation/position within the community: Council / Medical Staff

Where do you come from? “Michigan, originally. A little place nobody’s heard of - Eaton Rapids. But I got the job offer down here a couple of years ago, and I’ve been here since.”

How would you describe yourself as a person? “I’d like to think I’m a nice guy. Polite, traveled, educated… I don’t really think you can survive in medicine long if you aren’t compassionate, so I guess that, too. Known to crack the occasional dad joke - but don’t hold it against me.”

How many walkers have you killed? “Just one. Not many hang around the medical center.”

How many people have you killed? “Nobody, and I’m hopeful it stays that way..”

Are you searching for anybody? “I don’t think anyone from up north could make it this far, and everyone else is here, really.”

Why are you here? “It’s my home now. Where else would I be?”

Would you consider yourself a team player? “Depends on the team. Didn’t like Kit’s very much, so he’d probably say I wasn’t much of a team player.”

Are you the type of person who will try to make the best out of a bad situation? “Sure, I mean… Had my leg busted helping. And I’m still trying to help. That’s the best I can make out of this situation.”

What skills do you have that will benefit the community and your fellow survivors? “I had to get a degree in biology before I could attend vet school - I’m qualified to treat people… short of surgery and prescribing medicine, anyway. I’m better at caring for animals… In case anyone wants fresh eggs, or milk, or those kinda things.”

Can you handle yourself in a crisis? “Sure. Medical professionals have to be able to keep a cool head, particularly in a crisis.”

What are you willing to do to protect the people and things you care about? “I prefer preventative measures as much as possible. But I’ve, um, come to learn that sometimes force becomes the only remaining option.”

While he did have a modest home in the suburban area, he’d prefer to stay closer to the medical center if possible. He'll  set up a cot in one of the offices, if necessary.

LIVIA WILLIAMS (greta onieogou) is looking for her OLDER SISTER (45/46 years old- name up to the player) with the faceclaim UP TO THE PLAYER (suggestions include sanaa lathan, gabrielle union and kerry washington). livia and her sister have a fairly large difference in age and personality and have rarely ever gotten along/ when their parents passed away, the older sister had a family of their own making them unable and unwilling to take on the responsibility of raising a grieving child. you do need to contact the player before applying.
