Complaining again (tw human death(?))

I found a very cool horror artist, he writes and draws eepy creepy creatures, published a book with his illustrations in form of a field journal. Great stuff. I'm looking through his VK page that he barely uses, because I want to know more. He's working on a second book and posts illustrations and WIPs from it. There are photos of very real corpses of the very real people who froze to death in one of the illustrations, and they are framed as an example of a cryptid's work. And then some links to very real articles about said very real deaths.

I really don't want to seem like a pearl clutcher but. That is unethical.

To me, horror is an escape from reality, and I'm sure for many it is too. A monster is scary, but not as scary as rent prices going up or unemployment or failure. If you take a thing that is used partially for escapism and take it to a death of a person and say "hey! that happened because of my thing" even as a joke it's disrespectful in this context.

Also dehumanisation of alcoholics and of the homeless, to an extent failure of the author to see the systemic, etc etc.

Princess Celestia in Generation 1 My Little Pony toy style

I saw a video of someone customizing a toy pony into princess Celestia and it made me think about what Celestia would look like if fully designed in g1 style. The video was using a normal pony body in Firefly pose, which has the same chubby roundness as the rest of the ponies. Obviously it was really cute and a great custom but I wanted to make my own version!

This is the Celestia pony compared to the "Buttons" pose pony I made previously.

She's much taller, obviously, to match the show. She has tinsel in her hair to match the Princess Ponies from g1 but also 4 colors of hair.

Her body type is more similar to the g1 Pony Bride + a little bit of the Sweetheart Sisters.

To match the fact Celestia has bigger wings, this version has 5 feathers on the outside and 4 on the inside instead of 4 and 3.

And of course the unicorn horn is several segments taller.

She is also technically very pale pink.

I was giving CPR to a friend whose head me and my friends could not find.

Like, she was a body without a head, but it looked like the head was never there to begin with.

Still, we knew it was supposed to be there so we kept on searching for it so we could reattach it, with no luck.

We looked for it everywhere in the sand.

It took me like 30 minutes to realize my mouth-to-mouth was not working since there was no mouth on the other side.

We never did find the head, but I did manage to restart my friend's heart.

I was weirdly blasé about it all.

It was not gorey at all, just unsettling.
