On Monday, the White House stated it is “very essential” for Americans to recognize rising gas costs are a “global concern.”

This came while also reminding Americans gasoline prices are significantly higher in other nations, such as Canada and Germany.

Nothing New From Biden

When questioned if Biden’s government is planning on any initiatives or measures if prices continue to rise across the country, White House press spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre made comments during a news conference.

During the conference, the press secretary mentioned Russia’s continuing invasion of Ukraine pushed up gas prices, following the financial recovery from the COVID-19 epidemic.

“Look, you see, when Putin began collecting soldiers on the Russian border, the price of petrol went up by $1.51,” Jean-Pierre added.

“Comparable concerns are occurring throughout the world. Petrol in the EU is $8.15 per gallon. It has gone up by $1.74.”

“Gas costs $8.88 a gallon in Germany. It has risen by $2.16.”

“Gas costs $6.23 per gallon in Canada. It has risen by $1.93. This all occurred since December of 2021. This is a worldwide problem.”

Jean-Pierre went on to say rising gas prices are “something everyone is feeling throughout the globe.”

Then, the White House press secretary said “these gas prices, encompassing food prices in particular,” are having an impact on families, “particularly while they sit around their dining tables.”

She went on to say the Biden government is “fighting prices in every way we can.”

Her remarks come after numbers published over the week revealed the average cost of normal gasoline in the US had more than doubled under Biden’s administration.

According to AAA, the average cost for a tank of regular gas was $2.39 when Biden began office on January 20, 2021. However, as of June 7, the price of gasoline in the United States is $4.865 per gallon.

They Will Do Nothing

On June 1, Biden told press at the White House his government would be unlikely to reduce the cost of inflation, which includes gas and food costs, in the near future.

Bringing down other economic burdens affecting American families, such as medicine pricing or child care, the president noted, might compensate for rising food and gas prices.

Biden also advocated for a higher tax on firms that do not pay any taxes.

Jean-Pierre added Monday she didn’t know what steps the president will take to help cut gas costs, but she praised Biden’s American Rescue Package for putting the country in a better position to deal with inflation.

“The administration met that opportunity, truly putting us in a position where we can genuinely deal with prices head-on today,” she added.

“We have a lot of work ahead of us, and we understand how the American people feel, but we are in a better position to tackle it.”

Should the Ukraine situation result in a serious fuel shortage, the Irish government plans to reintroduce strict COVID-style lockdown measures.

According to a leak made public on Monday, Ireland’s Europhile government is considering a return to severe COVID-style lockdowns if a fuel shortage arises as a result of the continuing Ukraine conflict.

Strain on Supplies

It occurs as ongoing confrontations between Russia and the United States put considerable strain on the global reserves of fossil fuels.

Climate-change deniers in Europe occasionally add to more local shortfalls by obstructing key oil resources.

Authorities have wargamers trying to implement mandatory work at home commands for non-essential employees, restrictions on so-called “non-essential” transportation, and strict speed restrictions on roadways.

This is part of what has been described as a highly classified “high-level planning process,” according to leaks mentioned by the Irish Independent.

Gasoline rationing and the restriction of when specific cars may be fueled at petrol stations were allegedly addressed at the covert conference, with attendees being instructed to prepare for three distinct levels of fuel shortages.

There is allegedly minimal risk of significant gasoline shortages, as a result of current international tensions over Ukraine.

The leader of one of the organizations present at the conference indicated preparation for a potential fuel shortage in the long term is “sensible.”

“It is quite improbable we will witness a reduction in gasoline supply,” Energy sources for Ireland CEO Kevin McPartlan is quoted as saying, adding that Ireland’s “inventory levels are very strong” at present.

Given the energy security challenges that a number of European countries are now facing, McPartlan’s fairly specific assurance about Ireland’s future fuel supply may appear to be optimistic.

Europe Struggles

Countries such as Germany are presently in an immensely challenging situation, as a result of their reliance on Russian gas.

Putin’s done so before, with Russia fully cutting off Poland, Bulgaria, Denmark, and the Dutch from its network, prompting some European leaders to accuse Moscow of blackmailing its adversaries.

Meanwhile, some have been pondering methods to reduce the bloc’s dependency on Russian fuels, with one research group advising Europeans to lower their thermostats to conserve energy.

Conversely, Italy has begun restricting air-con, requiring public buildings, government offices, and institutions to suffer temperatures of at least 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit).

The scarcity came just weeks just after dedicated Europhile Mario Draghi told the world that during the warmer months, they had to choose between “air-con or peace” in Ukraine.

A social media hailstorm erupted this week as two biological men (aka transgender women) took the leading positions in a cycling event in Great Britain.

Adding insult to injury, they did it in the one category where women could compete.

Apparently, the event in question, called the ThunderCrit race, had a “lightning” category this year, allowing for cis-women, non-binary persons, and transsexuals to compete against one another.

Either do it properly or don’t do it at all

However, only transgender persons could pick and choose between categories.

Cis men and women were assigned to their respective Thunder and Lightning divisions, making medal-winning positions in the Lightning category easy pickings for the biological men.

The two men who finished first and second, Emily Bridges and Lilly Chant, have yet to leave any comment on the internet debate that followed their victory.

However, it is important to note up until February this year, Bridges was still competing in male races.

Only one biological female finished the race in the top three, that being Jo Smith.

This is even more demoralizing if you consider the fact Chant is still listed as male in the official records. This prompted outrage on Twitter.

It leaves many wondering if this was the gender ideology’s goal all along, to sideline women and children while mentally ill men are awarded nothing short of a participation trophy, given their biological advantages over the other competitors.

Some Twitter users added if a third biological male had chosen to compete in the race, there wouldn’t have been a single female in the top three, in an event promoted as a women’s race, no less.

Feminist writer Libby Emmons claimed women’s sports turned into a joke, at this point.

She said no one with the power to change it cares that women are being marginalized by individuals who couldn’t make it past the amateur level in their own gender categories.

This prompted additional social media involvement from other notable figures in women’s sports.

Fiona McAnena, campaign director at Fair Play for Women, claims the rules allowing men to compete in female-only events put the female competitors at a disadvantage.

Fact is, sports performance is largely based on your body’s capabilities. Anyone who hasn’t ditched biology class every single time knows the advantages men have in this field, due to the evolutionary traits they’ve taken on.

These advantages cannot be taken away.

Even if testosterone suppressing therapies do exist for these transgender persons, they can’t exactly reshape one’s body physique and capabilities entirely.

The idea that not allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports is “discriminating” is outright ridiculous.

If that wasn’t enough, these same people also want access to women-only spaces, like bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms, which is a whole new can of worms to open.

In a recent investigation into famous billionaire George Soros’ economic ventures, analysts at the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund came to the conclusion the controversial investor has been spending money to shift the law system his way.

Soros, the founder of the Open Society Foundations organization, apparently spent over $40 million in the past decade in order to elect “progressive” prosecutors in 75 of America’s largest cities.

These men and women already represent approximately a fifth of all Americans, holding office in more than half of the country’s 50 largest cities.

However, much like with anything the left calls “progressive,” these Soros endorsees haven’t really been effective.

Statistics show those cities with prosecutors the investor made sure were appointed make up for 40% of all criminal activity in the US.

This means all the money Soros is funneling will lead to a transformation of the US criminal justice system, albeit not for the better.

This is due to the fact the prosecutors in question are famed for their social justice takes and questionably lax justice reforms.

Soros has remained one of the driving forces behind the current anti-police narrative.

Considering he’s not willing to stop there, his radical agenda could bring about dozens of dangerous policies and an end to what little freedom we have left in this country.

Some of these District Attorneys are George Gascon of Los Angeles, Larry Krasner in Philadelphia, and Alvin Bragg in Manhattan.

All of them are particularly known for being sworn proponents of “social justice,” a term that’s devolved into a leftist buzzword in the past couple of years.

Most of these Soros-backed prosecutors immediately jump to pursuing radical-left policies the moment they assume office.

Their current plans involve eliminating bail, seeking lenient sentences where they don’t belong, and even dismissing some felony cases from the get-go.

It’s only natural for violent crimes to surge when figures like this rise to power. It’s most evident if we look at the nationwide 2020 crime spike, which was predated by crime rates surging in these prosecutors’ jurisdictions.

Soros himself left no comment on the discoveries; as it seems, he’s going to continue reshaping the US criminal justice system, just as he’s done for the past decade.

If it was not for his seemingly bottomless wallet, the majority of these DAs wouldn’t have been elected to their positions. Crime rates in the US might even be at an acceptable number, at this point.

In his bid to cover up his economic and energy mismanagement, President Biden invoked the Defense Production Act.

This aims to increase America’s reliance on green energy, specifically social power, to “spur domestic manufacturing.”

Republicans are considering this measure of Biden as a constitutionally corrupt practice to hide his poor performance.

Biden Using the Act as Last Resort For Political Gains

Right after invoking the act, Biden started drawing criticism for his reliance on the measure as a last resort.

Congressman Byron Donalds of the Republican Party asserted it is a matter of “concern” for Americans that the president is misusing the act irresponsibly.

The Defense Production Act is not a tool for government to manipulate the market. It's supposed to be used when the nation needs to reorder priorities to defend ourselves.

Since his inauguration, Biden has been forcing Congress to pass his climate agenda and reduce taxes on clean energy technologies. However, the president has not received any favorable news from Congress, amid political polarization on the issue.

Thus, Biden decided to make a solo flight to “create a bridge” to get the “clean energy future.”

With the help of the Defense Production Act, Biden empowered the Department of Energy to increase America’s production of many solar power components, including photovoltaic modules.

Similarly, the department would also be able to increase domestic production of heat pumps and other equipment capable of making and processing clean electricity-generated fuels.

According to an anonymous senior official of the Biden administration, this measure will increase the pace of ongoing construction projects in the country and create high-paid jobs as well.

Furthermore, the official added, the burden on consumers would also be reduced as alternate energy products are cheaper, compared to traditional resources.

The unnamed official also asserted it would help the administration tackle rising “environmental injustice” in the country.

Biden Desperate to Lure Progressive Voters

The Defense Production Act was enacted in 1950 and has been invoked over 50 times.

However, the act will not focus on government-only projects. Instead, it will be based on public-private partnership; the government will facilitate private investors to pour their money into green energy.

Similarly, the mutual cooperation between different private stakeholders would also be increased in order to maximize the gains under the act.

The government believes re-invoking the Defense Production Act would help the country cap rising inflation, amid the Russia Ukraine war.

This also reduced Democrats’ chances of winning the 2022 elections.

Thus, the official added, the president is also urging Congress in parallel to pass his green agenda that seeks to introduce tax cuts on green manufacturing and approve investments in the sector.

Biden even ordered the development of two important tools under the new plan. Included in these tools are the master supply agreements and super preferences.

While the first one streamlines the process for manufacturers to make and sell the solar power equipment to the government, the latter will oversee the procurement of the solar systems to the federal government. 

Reportedly, the administration is aiming to increase the solar manufacturing capacity of the country by 2024 via cooperation with state and even local governments.

The remainder is in such a sorry state that it is crowdfunding in order to be able to keep killing Ukrainian civilians and children.

Putin’s Air Force Has Been a Ludicrous Failure

Putin’s war of conquest and aggression already exposed the dumbfounding flaws of the once much-feared Russian military.

Many of those failures are believed to be the direct result of the widespread corruption among the Russian elite.

The Russian Air Force has been a particularly impressive failure for western observers as it failed completely in its mission to destroy the Ukrainian Air Force and anti-aircraft capabilities.

For a couple of months now, the Russian commanders only rarely sent fighter and bomber jets into Ukrainian air space, instead firing at Ukrainian targets from a distance.

The courageous resistance of the Ukrainians fully frustrated the invaders.

So Much of Russia’s Air Power Has Been Downed

Moscow’s losses of military equipment have been particularly stupefying, already nearing 9,500 units.

These include 212 warplanes, 177 helicopters, 553 drones, 1,390 main battle tanks, 2,405 trucks and jeeps, 3,416 armored personnel carriers, 694 artillery systems, 13 ships, and 303 missile and anti-aircraft systems.

The figures in question may mean more than half of Russia’s operational Air Force has already been destroyed.

While on paper, the Russian military has more than 1,300 aircraft, Russia’s Air Force had over 500 warplanes on active duty; about 390 of those were operational – meaning more than half have been shot down.

The situation with Russia’s trained pilots also seems dire. Last week, Ukraine’s defenders shot down two Russian fighter jets piloted by retired military officers over 63 years of age.

Russia’s fleet of military helicopters was estimated at between 350 and 470 before the Ukraine invasion, meaning more than half of those may also have been destroyed already.

To top it all off, a report by The Daily Mail exposes how Putin’s Air Force actually resorted to crowdfunding among the rapidly impoverishing Russian citizenry in order to meet its needs for basic equipment.

All of this is so Russia can keep mauling Ukraine and killing Ukrainian civilians and children.

Thus, a Russian aviation channel on the Telegram app called Fighterbomber demonstrated some of the 125,000 subscribers of the channel provided funds for the purchase of pilot equipment.

This includes radios, binoculars, pilot helmets, flashlights, visors, and even oxygen masks.

One image on the channel shows a group of Russian pilots posing with crowdfunded gear before an old Soviet Su-25 attack fighter jet.

The grotesque state of Putin’s Air Force is underscored by the fact that one of the pilots is seen in running shoes, apparently lacking military-issue boots.

Biden’s overt senility apparently doesn’t stand in the way of him getting mad that Trump is more popular with the American public; fresh reports on this matter come amid other embarrassing developments.

These include his chief caretaker and wife, Jill Biden, revealing bizarre details about their relationship fighting. Also, Sleepy Joe is rapidly hurtling towards the title of “most vacationing” president in US history.

Biden is now not just complaining about how Trump is more popular than him. Sleepy Joe is said to be especially enraged when people compare him to Jimmy Carter.

Carter was another very weak Democrat president, who presided over skyrocketing inflation before losing the election to President Ronald Reagan.

According to the sources cited in the report, Biden recently lost it and yelled viciously at his aides for failing to keep him in the loop about the scope of the baby formula crisis.

Apparently, Sleepy Joe only awakened to the severity of the baby formula shortage when cable TV reports were showcasing tearful young mothers unable to feed their kids.

Mind-Boggling That Biden Thinks He Deserves Higher Ratings

It seems somewhat surprising that Sleepy Joe keeps hoping for better ratings, considering how goods shortages, spiking inflation, and skyrocketing gas prices are devastating the well-being of American households.

Regardless of Biden’s evident failures, the Politico report still tries to find excuses for Sleepy Joe, even as it reveals he is fuming that Americans love Trump much more than him.

It quotes Barack Obama’s former press secretary, Robert Gibbs, as justifying the effects of the far-left plague.

Gibbs is now arguing that “a few previous presidents” also suffered from a situation in which “things happened” during their terms, for which they didn’t have a magic wand to fix.

Gibbs insisted the president has more “responsibility” than “tools” for answering various problems.

This is a proposition that paints quite an inaccurate picture of the Biden presidency so far;  it fully disregards Biden’s proactive moves that brought about crisis consequences.

According to the multiple polls average of FiveThirtyEight, Biden’s rating is at about 40%, while Trump’s stands at 41.6%.

In this average, however, Sleepy Joe’s popularity is likely overstated, considering how many polls used for the aggregate come from left-leaning pollsters with a pro-Democrat bias.

Meanwhile, a new poll by The Wall Street Journal and NORC released on Monday revealed that a whopping 83% of American adults view Biden’s economy as either “poor” or “not so good.”

There are only 27% of Americans saying they are confident they would be able to better their finances under the existing setup.

Against that backdrop, the picture of Empty Shelves Joe’s faltering popularity paints itself, especially considering the economic boom of the Trump years.

Russia’s war against Ukraine has been going on since late February and the end is nowhere in sight. In recent weeks, Russia’s military has been making significant gains in the country’s eastern Donbas region.

Mikheyev: ‘WW3’ Is About To Start

Sergey Mikheyev is one of Russia’s top geopolitical pundits and a TV host on the state-run Channel 1. He said that if the West keeps giving Ukraine more firepower against Russia, the Kremlin will resort to “nuclear war.”

“It’s coming,” Mikheyev warned, adding that the West simply doesn’t get how serious this is and how close it is to happening. Mikheyev mocked NATO and American promises of powerful weapons to Ukraine that are killing Russians, saying that if they think those are powerful they should wait until Russia unleashes its full arsenal.

Mikheyev also made fun of moderate Russians and non-involved people on both sides who just hope the war will de-escalate and calm down. They believe that maybe each side will just incrementally increase firepower and eventually reach a peace deal of some kind.

It’s not going to happen, according to him. Instead, Russia is soon going to reach a breaking point with how much it can take of every country in the West supplying Ukraine with lethal weapons.

When that breaking point is reached, “WW3” will begin, Mikheyev says.

‘Sick of the West’

Mikheyev added that he’s “sick of the West” and their constant threats against Russia, sanctions and half-measures. He said that America and NATO need to decide what their true position is.

If they are against Russia, “declare war,” he threatened, adding that Russia will “spit” on NATO’s weapons capability if it unleashes its full military power which it is currently holding back.

Some of the weapons Joe Biden is sending to Ukraine this week include long distance missiles that can go over 45 miles and could be used by Ukraine to hit targets inside Russia. Kiev has vowed it won’t do this, but it’s clear that the Kremlin is getting itchy and close to pulling the trigger and declaring war on NATO as well as Ukraine.

If that happens, all bets are off.

The COVID pandemic is a time most of us would rather forget about completely. Though it still happened, and cases of the nasty virus are climbing once again.

The Biden regime relaxed the rhetoric on COVID ahead of the midterm elections. Yet, who knows what new restrictions we could see from this virus or from the emerging threats like monkeypox?

That’s why it’s important to get a factual view of what occurred in this country and globally during the height of the COVID panic.

As a new prominent medical reporter shows, many of the measures taken to supposedly stop COVID were actually harmful to people’s health.

Details From the Report

The new report was published in the medical journal, Medicine, and authored by German physician Zacharias Fögen. It looks at data sets from the state of Kansas and tried to examine what relation mask mandates had to COVID mortality.

Fögen observes that Kansas is an ideal set of data because during the report analysis period from August 2020 to October 15, 2020, Kansas counties could decide for themselves whether to put in mask mandates.

Kansas has 105 countries, 81 of which decided to let people make their own decisions about masks, and 24 of which decided to make wearing masks a legal requirement.

By comparing these data sets and considering any other factors that could change the results, Fögen found counties with mask mandates had 1.5 times more deaths than the counties without mask mandates.

The reason is exactly what many of us who weren’t fond of masks expected: masks caused infectious droplets to be breathed in repeatedly and made people sicker than open air.

The Fögen Effect

The re-inhalation of infected particles is sometimes called the “Fögen effect” after Dr. Fögen’s study; it shows just how harmful mask mandates can be.

The majority of non-N95 masks let through viral particles; even good masks can allow in viral loads from unsealed areas of the face near the nose or mouth.

If you get sick from these particles and then breathe them in over and over, you get even more sick, increasing the viral load.

This basic scientific logic has been proven by Fögen’s Kansas studies, but we’re still told that masks helped stop COVID by our lying government and the Biden regime.

Arrests and indictments over the Capitol riots that took place on January 6, 2021 are not even close to being finished.

Stories still routinely make the news of people who engaged in the riots being held accountable by law enforcement. Some of the participants were found out via social media posts they made about the matter.

Others were turned in to the authorities by friends, relatives, matches on dating sites, and even their rideshare drivers. The January 6 commission that’s investigating Capitol riots remains active and has issued various subpoenas for testimonies.

There’s no telling how much time will pass before the probes and aftermath of January 6 are over.

Although, in the meantime, multiple members of the Proud Boys have been federally charged with sedition, per MSN.

A Closer Look at Sedition Charges Against the Proud Boys

This past Monday, the Justice Department indicted former Proud Boys chairman Enrique Tarrio, along with Joseph Biggs, Ethan Nordean, Dominic Pezzola, and Zachary Rehl, for sedition.

Charles Donohoe, a lieutenant of the Proud Boys, recently pled guilty to January 6-related charges against him. This guilty plea comes on top of Donohoe working with the federal government’s review of the Proud Boys.

As for the latest sedition charges, Proud Boys’ comments made in group chats, along with their purchases of protective attire, are being used by prosecutors as evidence that they intended to overthrow the government.

Attempts to interfere with federal law are likewise counted as sedition in the United States.

More Indictments to Come?

At this time, it remains unknown to the general public who all the Proud Boys were in contact with leading up to, during, and even shortly after January 6.

However, the role that group messages have played in Proud Boys facing sedition charges has raised an entirely new line of questioning.

Some people believe that anyone who was in contact with the Proud Boys about the riots during these times could potentially find themselves facing federal charges.

Others suggested the Proud Boys could’ve had someone within their ranks who secretly turned them into federal authorities.

All in all, time is going to tell who else gets charged in relation to the January 6 riots and what these charges entail.

The Oath Keepers, another militia group similar to the Proud Boys, has likewise been facing serious charges from the federal government. Federal authorities have been clear in their goal to charge every single person who played a role in last year’s Capitol riot.

Title 42 is a public health measure created in 1944 that allows the government to deport asylum seekers until they have a hearing.

At the time, it was titrated to curb outbreaks of cholera and yellow fever. However, Title 42 was brought back in 2020 by President Trump to keep our border secure under COVID.

It helped keep our border situation manageable under Trump. Biden has been forced to stick to it somewhat during his presidency, as well.

Trump’s administration invoked the use of Title 42 to immediately expel people arriving at the land border without a visa.

Under Title 42, expulsion is immediate; the deportation of immigrants to their countries of origin starts right away.

The Current Status of Title 42

Title 42 was set to expire on May 23.

Although, a district judge overruled the federal government’s decision to do so with a temporary injunction. However, the ruling is still running on borrowed time.

More than two million people have been expelled since implementation during the pandemic. Take into account that the expiry being allowed by the Biden administration did not comply with the regulations of the APA (Law of Administrative Procedure).

Yet, there’s no saying what they’ll do next, as we know loosening up border laws is a priority for the Democrat Party.

National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd is concerned about the end of Title 42. Currently, the daily seizure of illegal immigrants at the border is about 3,500 to 5,000.

With the end of Title 42, this number is expected to jump to about 18,000 per day.

Another relevant problem brought up by the vice president of the National Border Patrol Council, Chris Cabera, is many drug smugglers use groups of migrants to hide inside and get drugs across.

Fentanyl is killing our country; the last thing we need is more drugs, diseases, welfare-dependent people, and burdens on our services. Illegal immigration is bad news; the end of Title 42 would make it even worse.

Draining Our System

Another problem is how illegal immigration stretches our police too thin.

The role of police officers is to protect borders, but when there are a large number of illegal crossings, many of them have to leave their posts to prosecute illegal migrants.

This provides a great opportunity for smugglers to act because it is the time when police are too busy to catch them.

In an attempt to fill gaps, ease the work overload of patrolmen, and have greater effective control of the border, many former presidents have used National Guard troops.

Biden is not doing so because he doesn’t care. However, Texas Governor Greg Abbott deployed Texas National Guard troops.

There is also always the Posse Comitatus Act, which was enacted on June 18, 1878. It determines what can and cannot be done by U.S. presidents regarding the use of military forces at the border.

The Bottom Line

At the time Trump made use of the National Guard at the border, it was intended to help the patrol members in their administrative duties and strengthen air and ground patrols.

In case you haven’t noticed all the rainbow logos everywhere, June is “Pride month.” This relates to celebrating and affirming the sexual orientation of people who identify as LGBT.

Not everyone agrees that being LGBT is a positive thing or that it agrees with their religious or personal views, however.

But large corporations, government agencies and even sports teams don’t care. Their position is that you wear and celebrate the LGBT rainbow or you face the fury of the mob.

The latest example comes from the Tampa Bay Rays Major League Baseball (MLB) team.

Wear the Rainbow…Or Else

On Saturday night, the Rays had a special Pride night celebration during their match against the Chicago White Sox. Players were told to suit up in jerseys with a special pride patch and in hats with a modified pride logo.

The vast majority of the Rays happily did that, but five of them said no thanks. Jason Adam, Ryan Thompson, Jalen Beeks, Jeffrey Springs and Brooks Raley said “no thanks.”

As Adam said about their decision, it was hard to do because they personally accept and welcome people of all sexual identities to the game and the community, they simply don’t affirm that the LGBT identity is part of God’s plan or standards.

As Adam said, in the same way God has directed he and other Christians not to have sex prior to marriage, He’s also said that the LGBT lifestyle is not part of the Christian belief system.

The reaction to these players rainbow resistance was swift and enraged.

Tampa Bay Rays Pitchers Jason Adam, Jalen Beeks, Brooks Raley, Jeffrey Springs, and Ryan Thompson all took a stand.

During their Pride Night celebration, they ditched the jerseys featuring rainbows, citing their faith.

Liberals React Angrily

Liberals reacted angrily to the five players not wanting to stand up for Pride night on their clothing, but fortunately Rays Manager Kevin Cash, who did wear the jerseys and hat, said it was no problem.

He said that it hadn’t led to any clashes and that everyone understood “different perspectives” on what their beliefs entail.

Nobody on the Rays or White Sox had any real issue with these players not wanting to be forced to celebrate Pride night, because in the normal world people have no problem tolerating different opinions which are expressed with respect.

But online and in the media, liberals reacted angrily, calling the players “homophobes” and saying they need to be called out and insulted for their refusal to celebrate the night.

It’s clear that many on the left only tolerate freedom of religion when it agrees with their beliefs, lifestyles and views. When it diverges in any way from that, the liberal “tolerance” stops.

The Bottom Line

Good for these five brave Rays. They probably didn’t plan for this to be the reason people know their names, but the issue was forced on them and they responded respectfully and firmly.

In the wake of multiple recent mass shootings, the left-wing has come out against the National Rifle Association (NRA) once again.

Despite the fact that not a single NRA member has ever perpetrated a mass shooting, Democrats continue to make their loathing of the gun rights organization known.

During last month’s annual NRA convention in Houston, Texas, Democrats even protested outside of the event.

NRA defenders, members, and supporters have pushed back against this type of venom. Some have even said Democrats are using mass shootings for partisan gain, due to their refusal to consider solutions that don’t entail gun control.

Philadelphia district attorney Larry Krasner recently ripped into the NRA over crime in his own community. However, this has backfired tremendously, as documented by The Blaze.

Not an Appropriate Comparison

On Sunday, the Philadelphia district attorney claimed that recent community shootings mean that Pennsylvania state lawmakers must employ “real action.”

Krasner then went on to say this appropriate “action” would entail boycotting the NRA and passing more gun control rules in Pennsylvania.

However, the entire narrative and premise behind this argument was disproven by Mayor Jim Kenney, a fellow Democrat. While speaking with WPVI-TV, Philadelphia’s mayor said unlawful carry of firearms comes with virtually no consequences in the city.

Krasner doesn’t even have grounds to dispute this. The office of the left-wing district attorney is on record claiming that arrests and convictions for illegal firearms possession isn’t something it thinks will crack down on shootings.

Meanwhile, the NRA blasted the Philadelphia district attorney for being notoriously soft on crime and then blaming lawful gun ownership for the fallout.

The Best Defense Against Crime

As long as criminals believe they can break laws without being held accountable, they will continue to do so.

Officials who want to see shootings and other crimes decrease have to get serious about prosecuting lawbreakers. Simply going after the NRA is great for left-wing political grandstanding; however, it doesn’t bring about meaningful solutions.

As more calls for gun control come from the Democrat Party, its members will not entertain any anti-mass shooting proposals that don’t involve restrictions on firearms.

If left-wing district attorneys continue refusing to hold criminals accountable, their communities will suffer as a result. Already, the district attorney of San Francisco is facing a recall, due to the massive crime upticks that have occurred on his watch.

If Krasner is serious about stopping shootings in Philadelphia, his office can change its current position of not supporting the arrests and convictions of individuals with illegal firearms.

The United States military is a vital part of America’s national defense. Troops across multiple branches do so much to keep the country safe, defend the values which the United States was unfounded upon, and more.

In order for the military to maintain, however, it will inevitably require new recruits. This is important for the United States’ national defense to remain intact, especially considering all that’s happening in the world.

However, new military recruits are easier said than found, these days. In fact, according to Fox News, issues with military recruitment have been a troubling reality in America for quite some time now.

What to Know About US Military Recruits

Problems with finding an adequate amount of new military recruits date back to the start of COVID. Yet, even as people have largely returned to normal life, there still aren’t folks signing up in droves to join the military.

Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Edward W. Thomas has weighed in on what he thinks is causing these shortfalls.

Thomas pointed out how Americans’ trust in their government is declining; additional cited factors were lower eligibility levels and fewer people with a drive to serve in the first place.

The Air Force commander likewise pointed out that how the military was withdrawn from Afghanistan back in 2021 certainly didn’t help matters either. 13 servicemembers are dead because of how the president went about withdrawal.

Another Potential Factor

Since Joe Biden got into office, he’s been trying to strong-arm women and men in the military into getting vaccinated against COVID.

This vaccine mandate stands, despite the documented fact that COVID vaccines don’t deter infection or spread of the virus.

Some servicemembers have subsequently turned in exemption requests to avoid the mandate. Yet, the vast majority of these requests have been denied with very little review.

To date, only 58 religious-based exemptions from Biden’s military vaccine mandate have been granted… out of approximately 22,000(!) applications.

Some of the women and men in the military have actually been discharged over their refusal to take COVID vaccines. Needless to say, when people see this happening, it doesn’t really inspire new recruits to sign up in droves.

If the military continues as it has been with this particular mandate, it may persist in observing lagging recruitment numbers.

On the flip side, though, having a different commander in chief could potentially increase the number of recruits interested in joining the military.

In the meantime, military branches may continue to face current issues with getting new recruits on board.

In the aftermath of recent mass murders, a prominent House Democrat proposes a 1,000 percent tax on AR-15s and comparable guns, as part of his party’s latest drive for gun regulation. 

Virginia’s Representative, Donald Beyer, a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, opined that a tenfold increase in the price of firearms might dissuade mass shootings.

The levy could raise the price of firearms anywhere from $5,000 to $20,000.

So only wealthy people can own guns now?

Still in the Works

A final copy of Beyer’s bill is not yet ready.

It remains uncertain when the levy would actually happen and what the additional revenue would cover. However, a compensation program for the families of victims murdered in shootings is one possibility.

Beyer stated police enforcement organizations and the United States military would be exempt from the fee.

The senator added he believes his idea can pass the Democratic-controlled House and circumvent the blockade in the Senate, where VP Kamala Harris may throw the final vote. 

Congress must act to prevent mass shootings.

Beyer intends to pass the bill under reconciliation. This might allow it to avoid the filibuster threshold of 60 votes. According to experts, a tax plan could satisfy the criterion for reconciliation. 

There are a projected 20 million AR-15-style rifles in circulation in the United States, and roughly 20% of all new gun purchases fit the definition.

President Biden has proposed a ban on what the left commonly refers to as “assault weapons,” despite the fact this is not a precise description of a firearm.

Rep. David Cicilline’s (D-RI) draft legislation defines “assault weapons” as “military-style” rifles with “a magazine which is not a fixed ammo magazine and has one or more military attributes.”

This is “such as a pistol grip, a forward grip, a threaded barrel, a barrel shroud, or a folding or telescoping stock.” 

Age Limits

Additionally, Democrats have advocated raising the minimum age to buy an AR-15-style firearm from 18 to 21.

Recent terrorist attacks in Buffalo and Uvalde, Texas, were perpetrated by 18-year-old guys armed with AR-15-style weapons; whereas Saturday night’s mass shooting in Philadelphia was perpetrated by many individuals armed with handguns. 

Biden stated last week we must ban assault rifles and high-capacity magazines. If we cannot outlaw assault weapons, we should raise the minimum age to buy them from 18 to 21 and tighten background checks. 

Additionally, Beyer advocated for imposing new fees on magazines that can hold more than ten rounds of ammo. 

The concept of an assault weapon in the Beyer bill strongly matches one proposed by Rhode Island Representative David Cicilline. This legislation would prohibit firearms with at least one military feature, such as a pistol grip or a front grip. 

Republicans have generally opposed additional gun control measures, arguing criminals will not comply with them.

In practically every shooting incident, existing laws were violated, or the culprit should have been identified. In response to recent massacres, though, several Republicans expressed a readiness to adopt new laws.

This year’s midterm races may be some of the most impactful elections the nation has ever seen.

November’s elections will determine the power balance in Congress and how much power Biden has to carry out his agenda during the second half of his time in the White House.

Republicans have momentum on their side.

For starters, the party in power generally loses the midterms during off-year elections. On top of this, all the problems that have transpired under current leadership are not good for Democrats politically.

As the midterms play out, former President Trump is making known who he thinks should win elections. As noted by The Hill, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy just secured the endorsement of the former president.

A Close Review of Trump’s Endorsement of McCarthy

Yesterday, the former president took to Truth Social to give a ringing endorsement to his ally in Congress.

Trump praised McCarthy as “outstanding” and a firm defender of conservative policies amid a president that’s ruining the country.

The former president also said McCarthy’s done a great job of advocating for the people he’s representing in California.

At this time, House Republicans appear very likely to win back the chamber that’s currently controlled by Democrats. If this does happen, then the position of House Speaker will be open again.

This is a role that McCarthy is believed to be well in line for. Having the support of Trump behind him will definitely be a factor that works in his favor.

Flipping the House Red Again

Like other House Republicans, Kevin McCarthy has been hard at work to ensure the chamber isn’t controlled by Democrats after November.

The House Minority Leader has been raising money via super PACs and ensuring that Republicans with elections this year are well-funded. This will play a very huge role in the general elections when GOP candidates find themselves up against Democrats.

House Republicans have assured they will hold Biden accountable if they win back the majority. Under a Democratic majority, the current House of Representatives has largely rallied behind the president, voting for his legislation.

This will change if Republicans take back the House of Representatives. A GOP-controlled House would likewise break the current monopoly of power that Democrats have over the federal government.

A Republican-led House would also be the beginning of restoring checks and balances back to the federal government once again. It would force the president to actually work across the aisle, rather than relying on getting his legislation passed via party vote alone.

It is very common for Joe Biden to leave the White House for various stints of time in his home state of Delaware. The president does this in spite of all the very real issues that are facing the nation on his watch.

Right now, baby formula shortages, gas prices, crime, and other prevailing problems could be using all of Biden’s attention.

Yet, the president has given speeches, talking about how he isn’t able to automatically hit a button and grant relief to the American public.

However, on Saturday, something unexpected happened while Biden and his wife, first lady Jill Biden, were at their vacation home in Delaware.

This led to the first couple having to temporarily leave the residence, as documented by Newsmax.

What to Know About Saturday’s Incident

In Rehoboth Beach, the president’s home has an airspace that’s restricted for security reasons. However, yesterday, a private plane entered the airspace anyway; this led to Secret Service evacuating the Bidens for their own safety.

Later, it turned out the pilot who entered the private airspace veered off course. He also wasn’t abiding by the Notice to Airmen alert, nor was he tuned into the appropriate radio channel.

As the afternoon carried out, Secret Service revealed the breach was ultimately not a threat against the Bidens. However, protection measures for the first couple were still put in place, just to be on the safe side.

Backlash Against the President’s Vacationing

News about Biden’s time in Delaware on Saturday quickly spread. Yet, in spite of the pilot who accidentally crossed into the restricted airspace, Americans took a different issue to heart.

Some folks said the president should have been in Washington DC, working on solutions to hardships facing the nation.

Right now, Biden’s poll numbers are horrific. Strong majorities of Americans disapprove of his leadership overall, along with his approaches to specific issues like crime, economic hardships, and more.

Biden has spent 130 days on vacation in Delaware. Make it a permanent vacation Joe.

Certain people even called for Biden to take a permanent vacation to Delaware and leave the White House altogether.

As the president vacations in Rehoboth Beach, inflation has gotten so bad that people who previously had retirement plans in place now have to put these on ice. In California, gas prices have gotten to be as high as $9.60 per gallon.

Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing to indicate that Biden plans to make any changes that would bring about relief for the everyday American.

People can realistically expect more vacations from the president as working-class folks struggle to survive.
