Jimmy Johns' founder is known for illegally poaching endangered animals.
THAT SAID, there is no ethical consumption under capitalism. If y'all order from JJ's, especially if you didn't know this and/or don't have better options available (and let's be honest and fair, "no ethical consumption under capitalism" absolutely accounts for limited IF ANY better options), you're in no way wrong for ordering from this place.
I'm genuinely sorry for the way I approached this and my initial tags. As someone who has struggled with shame for how I eat (and for eating at all), I absolutely knew better and there was no excuse to behave so holier than thou about this stuff. I am genuinely sorry for being a POS on your post and you did not deserve my BS on a Friday night (let alone anytime). I hope your night is wonderful and your food was good. 💜 This was a genuine, wholesome post that I acted shitty on for no real reason and I'm sorry for that.
omg i placed a jimmy johns order for the first time using their app and i got a "do you love our app" type popup and i like to be honest, i liked how the app worked compared to others so i clicked "yes" so it would prompt me to leave a review and instead the popup window just said "we love you too!" sobbing

hey uhhhhhhh can you give people the benefit of the doubt and not make them feel like absolute shit and imply they're unforgivable for ordering a sandwich? boycotting is getting increasingly confusing and it'd be way more productive to say "hey op just so you know" than "ewww only a horrible person would do this" 👍
