Starter call~

“I’ll try and keep that in mind,” Peridot responded. Peridot had noticed the slight change in Sunstone’s expression but she thought it would be rude if she pointed it out, since it seemed that everything she said upset someone in some way. The gem had seemed rather cheerful so far so it was strange seeing another emotion coming through. 

“O-oh, yeah that is correct. It didn’t go so well though...” Peridot’s cheeks became a deep forest green, embarrassed that Sunstone was able to remember that.

“I know you ordered me to believe…this,” Peridot nervously gestured over to the fusion. She tried to be as careful with her words as possible, given that she had upset Garnet before when talking about her being fused. She still had loads to learn about this planet and this seemed like a good chance to find out more. 

“I’m still curious.”

Going to be offline for a while

“Really?!” Peridot’s eyes lit up, so happy that she had Lapis’ approval. “Well your outfit is pretty cool too. It’s different from what you normally wear. I don’t meant that in a bad way though!” 

She nervously watched the other gem’s reaction, scared she had upset her.

“What do you think of my new outfit?” Peridot asked, a big grin plastered on her face. She personally thought that it looked awesome and privately hoped Lapis would think the same way. She was never too good at reading what the other gem was thinking however.

“Yes but it was still a bad thing to do. You don’t seem to mind though?”

Peridot still felt as if she had many things to apologise for, such as not going with Lapis when she started fleeing and how she let Jasper drag her around like a doll. Peridot felt disgusted by it. 

“I don’t want you to feel bad because of everything I’ve done.” 

Even Peridot was surprised at how honest she was being but she felt brave enough to finally admit what was on her mind.

“It’s been a while since that happened, hasn’t it?” Lapis shrugged, no longer minding the fact that Peridot was bringing up old memories. Even if they were memories she preferred to forget about.

She was sure Peridot felt bad for doing what she did, and appreciated that she had the right mind to apologize about it, even if it had been a while.

Peridot looked up at the taller gem, taken back slightly by Lapis’ smile. It was still quite a rarity getting to see it. Peridot smiled nervously back at her.

“I feel the same about it. I thought I belonged there at first but I suppose I was being perhaps too naive back then. I shouldn’t be complaining though, you had it way worse. I’m, uh, still sorry about that whole thing with me and Jasper before though.” 

She knew Lapis might still be a little sore about the whole situation but she had started feeling guilty about it even since her and Lapis started living together in the barn.

Back at the barn, after everything that went on with the Diamonds, Peridot was finally able to relax and soon noticed another gem had been planning to do the same. 

“Hey, Lapis!” Peridot ran over to the other gem, frantically waving her arms to get the other’s attention. She gave Lapis a cautious look before asking, “How are you feeling after all of that?”

Peridot smiled at Lapis’ response, glad that her friend was okay but didn’t comment on it, afraid she wouldn’t be able to correctly put it into words and that Lapis would take offense to it in some way.

“I can definitely agree it was weird. It was awkward seeing Yellow Diamond, especially since calling her clod a while back. She surprisingly seemed fine with me though?”

“Hey, Lapis!” Peridot ran over to the other gem, frantically waving her arms to get the other’s attention. She gave Lapis a cautious look before asking, “How are you feeling after all of that?”

“Little?” Peridot repeated timidly. The fusion seemed friendly though so Peridot resisted the urge to keep talking about it, despite how insecure she was about her height. 

“Well, how do you both feel? Wait...should I refer to you as Steven or Garnet or is your fusion name preferred?” A brief look of panic flashed across her features.

I think I may have to add a new rule

I do not know if I feel comfortable RPing with muses from other fandoms but I think my main issue is if they are from a fandom I’m not invested in. So from now on, you may have to send an ask or something to check how I feel about it. Sorry!
