I like to believe in my heart of hearts Sklonda is hypocritical to a T. Like she tells Riz not to be so reckless and yet she's super reckless. She tells Riz "you can't just kill people" and I'm sure she's killed people several times and has 0 remorse. She believes she's justified in her course of action. And so does Riz. Sklonda really just wants to be a good mom, and granted she is but she is also a dangerous individual and all of Elmvile should be fucking lucky she wants a normal (as normal as you can get in fantasy adventure land) life for herself and her son.

I don't believe she's a smooth operator. That's not to say she isn't efficient or effective but I don't think she's afraid to get sloppy. I'm talking make a criminal eat glass and when he finally succumbs to his wounds she brings him back and shoves more down his throat. She has to keep the world as safe as can for her baby.

Merely a thought.
