“I do know you better than you know yourself, let’s just be real here, honey.” Brie gave Adam a quick wink as she started eating her own food, but Lyric was in rare form that day, and insisted on tasting some of Adam’s food, and she usually didn’t even like Thai food, which was why Brie had gotten her chicken fingers.

“Lyric, are you feeling okay? You never want to eat anything other than chicken.” But Adam put a little bit of his food on his fork so Lyric could try it. “Here you go, baby.” He spoke, handing it to her. Lyric put the food in her mouth and chewed for a second before grinning. “It’s yummy, daddy!” Adam busted out laughing before turning to look at Brie. “Write that down-- she actually tried food and liked it.”

“Oh, we know you’d do just that with no problems!” Brie helped Lyric securely place her plate in her lap once they were sitting on the sofa, but she kept glancing over at the boys, and like usual, Ace was wide eyed and curious, while Jason was already falling asleep.

Adam began working on his pad thai, groaning at the taste. “How did you know Thai food was just what I was in the mood for? I swear, babe, sometimes you know me better than I know myself.” He spoke before taking another bite of his food.

Once Brie sat the boys up in their little chairs, she let Lyric cover both of them up, and she was so cute because she tried tucking them in, just like Brie and Adam did with her every night. “You are just the best big sister in the world!” Brie picked Lyric up and started placing kisses all over her face, just as Adam was making his way back into the room with their food.

Adam grinned at the sight of his girls interacting. “I hate to break up the family love fest, but dinner’s ready! So unless you want daddy to eat it all, I suggest you get your food!” He teased, sitting down on the couch and grabbing his plate from the coffee table.

The idea of looking at houses, definitely excited Lyric, but when Adam said she needed to go to sleep, she did the cutest thing once she climbed into her spot in the middle, and closed her eyes really tightly, pretending like she already was asleep.

Adam busted out laughing because Lyric was a trip, that was for sure. “You’re so silly, baby girl.” He teased, tickling her tummy before grabbing the remote and turning on Netflix. The former champion scrolled through a few choices before eventually landing on one of Lyric’s favorite shows.

We need you more than anything, and love you very much, isn’t that right, baby girl?” Lyric started nodding her head and blew Adam a kiss as he got up to go and get their food. “Alright, it’s dinner time! Do you want to help mama put the babies in their swings?” Brie didn’t even have to ask, because as soon as she took Ace back, Lyric was up and going to get the boy’s blankets for them.

Adam smiled proudly because really, he and Brie were blessed with the perfect family. He couldn’t even believe that he once thought Lyric would be jealous of her little siblings. “Daddy’s gonna plate everything, you ladies get comfy.” Adam spoke as he headed into the kitchen. He set the containers down and started getting everyone’s plates set up.

Okay so maybe that wasn’t the best time to bring the trip up, but Nikki still made sure to cover Lyric’s eyes, as she stuck her middle finger up at Adam. “We are going to look at new princess houses for us to live in!”

“Daddy’s gonna be working with Uncle Paul again, and I want you girls close to me so we need to find a Princess house for you!” Adam spoke when he finally joined the group again. He climbed into bed and threw the blanket over  both him and Lyric. “You can lay here with us tonight, baby. But Daddy’s gonna turn on a movie and you’ve gotta go back to sleep.”

“We have got to teach you how to knock, baby girl!” Nikki’s heart was still beating fast, because Lyric really had startled her, but she couldn’t help but to laugh when Lyric started giggling over the fact she’d kicked Adam in the face. “Okay I’m sorry but the fact she finds that so funny, is hilarious! Anyway, baby girl, you need to sleep because we are going on a trip tomorrow!”

“Trip? Where we going?” Lyric asked, now bouncing off the walls. Adam rolled his eyes, sitting up. “Way to go, Nicole. Now she’s gonna be awake all night.” He teased, swinging his legs over the side of the bed and getting up so he could get a glass of water from the bathroom.

As soon as Lyric was sitting beside her, Brie leaned down so she could place a kiss against her forehead, but since Ace had just gotten done eating, after a quick burping session, Brie laid the baby down in his sister’s arms, because Adam and Brie let Lyric hold the boy’s as long as they were right beside her and she was sitting down. “They are good, but missed their big sis!”

Adam snuck a quick picture of Lyric holding Ace, a smile tugging at his lips. “She woke up about half an hour ago, and asked me if I was taking care of her babies. I swear, you two don’t even need me!” He teased, poking Lyric in the side. Just then, the doorbell rang, signaling that the food was there. Adam grabbed his wallet off of the coffee table and headed to the door so he could pay for their dinner.

“Is that how that happened? I thought I accidentally elbowed you in your sleep! Damn, Lyric!” Nikki almost jumped out of her skin when she heard a little voice say, what Coco?, because she didn’t even realize Lyric was standing in their bedroom door, because lately she’d been coming to sleep in bed with Nikki and Adam, for some reason.

“I swear to god that kid is gonna give me a heart attack one day.” Adam spoke, shaking his head.  He got up from where he was sitting so he could grab Lyric and gently put her into bed. “We were just talking about how you kicked Daddy in the face last week!”

“No, I didn’t, because I knew you’d fuss at me if I paid for it.” Brie noticed that yawn from Adam, and she gave him an amused look. “They wore you out, didn’t they? I’m surprised their second mom didn’t try and help you, or was she sleeping the entire time?” Speaking of Lyric, Brie suddenly heard little feet rushing down the stairs, and Lyric was so cute because she always ran around like she was the busiest little bee, especially now that the boys were born and she had to “help” take care of them.

Adam smiled softly as Lyric finally made her way downstairs, climbing up onto the couch so she could sit next to Brie. “Hey there, gorgeous! Did you have a nice nap?” He asked, running his free hand through Lyric’s hair. Lyric nodded  gently, resting her head against Brie’s arm. “How my babies?” She spoke by way of greeting.

“Food and sex, that’s all you love me for!” Brie teased as she followed behind Adam, and you would have thought she’d been gone for years with the way she rushed over to the boys so she could see what they were doing. “Oh my god, I swear, he’s just so obsessed with the boob, I don’t get it. He’s little Adam, that’s for damn sure!” Once she picked Jason up and gave him a few snuggles and kisses, she laid him back down on his mat, so she could pick his brother up and start feeding him.

“And your back rubs-- don’t forget the back rubs!” Adam spoke, picking Jason up so he could hold him while Brie fed Ace. He sighed gently, a yawn leaving his lips. “Don’t tell me you pre paid for dinner, because I fully intend to pay for it. It’s the least I can do, babe.” He spoke, leaning down to press a kiss to Jason’s forehead.
