Vibe of the day: Gotta make it through the day, to make it to tomorrow! 
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Mondaysssssss, If there is a day that feels longer than the rest of them, it is today. But, Mondays don't have to be all bad, you can use the time that would otherwise drag on, to be crafty and make something!

                                        Say Something Sundays
The Daily Vibe: Avoid the stress and express; let it out and say something. 
Welcome to Sunday, Vibers! 
Alas the weekend is coming to an end and it’s time to get your sh*t together and prepare for the start of a new week. Sundays are bittersweet; sweet because it’s one last day of “freedom” from responsibility, and bitter because of the way that you might have to spend that “freedom”. 
You might have jam-packed your weekend living it up, doing all of the things you didn't have time to do week. Or If your like me (and work in the restaurant industry), you might have spent majority of your weekend harvesting money for rent. Either way it seems that on Sundays stress is high and it’s go time. 
Top tips of the day: 
Jump start your day in the right way - Try to wake up early, drink some coffee, eat a good breakfast, and move your body around to put yourself in a good mood. 
Prioritize, Make a list of what you want to accomplish and get it done sooner than later - I don't know anyone who doesn’t procrastinate, but making a list will help you put everything you must do in perspective, and this way nothing will be forgotten.  
Once the annoying tasks are finished than you can spend the rest of the day working on how to de-stress ***And the way to de-stress is to express -Get inspired and do something that makes you feel the most you. 
Sundays are the best day to let it all out - As we grow up, we sometimes lose touch with our individuality as we get sucked into a routine. Get in touch with your creative side, everyone has one! Being in touch with yourself and how you feel is healthy and important part of living a happy life.
Above, I have included a video of a poem by one of my favorite spoken word artists, Andrea Gibson. Listening to spoken word/slam poetry helps me to feel what I usually suppress and inspires me to express.

                                                  So-Good Saturdays
Vibe of the day: Waking up to smell the sunshine.
Salutations earthlings, today is Saturday! It is the peek of the weekend, sublime in glory and endless in options for activities. Even if you've slept in, the day is too good to waste, so soak in the sunshine and make something good out if it.
For example, today I worked to restore He’eia Fishpond, an ancient Hawaiian cultural site on my home island of Oahu. The careful craftsmanship and brilliant engineering that went into the creation of these fishponds is unlike anything else. Fishponds were incredibly important to the Hawaiian people, because they not only changed the way the Hawaiians caught one of their primary sources of food, but they also held incredibly powerful cultural significance, which is something that cannot be understood through words. Only after hours of exhausting work, moving 20 tons of rocks, cutting down invasive trees and restoring the wall of the fishpond, I was able to grasp a slight sense of understanding and appreciation for this site. Waking up early to drive to the other side of the island, to work somewhere I've never been, with a bunch of people that I’ve never met before, was something that filled me with new found sense of community, connection and energy. I would even say that it changed me as a person. 
So today, I challenge you to start something new or do something you haven't done in a long time. Odds are you will benefit greatly from it!
Out of Ideas? Organize something spontaneous with your favorite people, eat somewhere you've always wanted to try, ask someone to teach you something new, do something you use to you when you were a kid, have a picnic, do someone a favor read outdoors, ride a bike, go for a walk, draw, sing, have a conversation with someone you love, whatever! 
Just put yourself out there and you'll thank yourself later.

Vibration of the day: To socialize or not to socialize that is the question.
Ah Fridays, a day no one can be mad at. Due to the illusion I like to call, the “I have no responsibilities” blindfold. Suddenly all the stress that has quickly piled up from the exhausting work week, instantly starts to fade into oblivion. You're unstoppable with the promise of the weekend ahead. Little do you know you've reached the next level challenge of the week... What to do on a Friday night?!
A new found freedom begins to brew, but also a fear of choosing the best way to spend the little time that you have, unbound by responsibility. Should you go out and hit the town with the cool cats? Or stay in and binge on snacks and the newest trending series on Netflix? The choice is yours, just remember these simple tips to making the right choice. 
Don’t feel like you have to go out and DO SOMETHING - sometimes the greatest pleasures are just taking a night off and having some you time, and theres nothing wrong with that!
Don’t feel like you have to stay in, because you don't have a clue what to do - If your itching to add some spice in your life GO! Hurry up and get dressed up, or go casual and just get out there in the world! Meet some people, make some friends, listen to live music, go to a movie, taste some wine, dance, paint, drink your face off, be creative, try something new, hold your hair back if you puke, but most importantly keep smiling (and drink lots of water). 
Remember there is no wrong choice - As long as you do what you want, you'll never be disappointed!  Don't let the opinions or pressure of others sway you away from spending your Friday night (or any other night) any other way than you want!   
Be your own person and live the best vibe.
