Isaac Lahey

Isaac lived with his father, Coach Lahey. His brother, Camden, was killed in combat in while serving in the US military. Isaac's father was abusive, locking his son in an unplugged chest freezer in the basement for long stretches. The abuse led to Isaac developing claustrophobia.

Mr. Lahey ran the Beacon Hills Cemetery where Isaac also worked. After being trapped in grave by an overturned backhoe, Derek Hale rescued Isaac.

After a fight with his father the next night, Isaac sought out Derek and received the bite, becoming a werewolf.

After the death of his father at the hands of the Kanima, Isaac moved in with Derek.

Unlike the other pack members, Isaac would question Derek's choices and motives as a leader. Their relationship became strained after The Alpha Pack attempted to get Derek to kill the remaining members of his pack, including Isaac. In a misguided attempt to keep him safe - Derek threw Isaac out of his loft. Homeless, Isaac moved in with Scott McCall and his mother.

While attempting to defeat the Alpha Pack, Isaac began to develop an attraction to Allison Argent. Their relationship advanced in fits and starts, culminating in a single night together.

After Allison's death and the defeat of the Nogitsune, Isaac left Beacon Hills with Chris Argent to heal himself emotionally from Allison's death.

Mieczyslaw “Stiles” Stilinski

Stiles' personality is most accurately described as anxious, hyperactive, and curious. He is a notorious bookworm who excels at piecing together clues and figuring out mysteries, such as the fact that Scott had become a Werewolf, the identity of the Kanima's first master, and the fact that a Dark Druid was behind the human sacrifices that were occurring in Beacon Hills. Since becoming aware of the supernatural world, Stiles' social and generalized anxiety has only become worse, especially after the death of his good friend Allison Argent, because he fears having to deal with the loss of any more of his friends or family as a result of their supernatural enemies.

Because of this anxiety, Stiles can often become so overwhelmed by trauma that he both physically and verbally lashes out at those around him, whether they are friend or foe, as evidenced by Stiles tackling Scott after his father, Noah, was attacked by a Chimera, despite knowing that Scott, too, was in danger from Theo's machinations as well at the exact same time that the Sheriff was hurt, preventing Scott from doing anything to help him due to being trapped in the high school with Mountain Ash.

Despite Stiles' anxiety and his increasingly violent reactions to bad news, Stiles is a very loyal person who would do anything to protect his loved ones, even if it means giving up his life to do so. This has only increased since he was possessed by the Nogitsune, because the amount of enjoyment that he got out of being powerful and in control made him frightened and ashamed of his darker nature, pushing him to do good to make up for it and to ensure that no one else gets hurt because of his actions, even if it means he has to die to make it so. Stiles is slow to trust people, but once he warms up to them and the person gains his trust, he becomes very close to them and will do whatever he has to do in order to protect them and ensure their safety, as evidenced by his relationships with Derek Hale, Kira Yukimura, and Liam Dunbar; he was suspicious of them and their motives when he first met them, but, over time, after they proved themselves to be good people who shared the McCall Pack's mission of protecting innocents from supernatural threats, he accepted them as his loved ones and would do anything to help them, just as he would with his father or Scott, the two people he loves most.

Stiles, like his father, enjoys puzzles and acts as the lead investigator for the McCall Pack in order to gain information and evidence regarding the threats that they face. For this reason, Stiles' intelligence is his greatest strength within the pack and has either given them an advantage or has outright saved them in multiple situations throughout their time together. Despite everything that Stiles has been through, he still shows no obvious signs of wanting to become a Werewolf, preferring to maintain his humanity and use his non-supernatural gifts to help the pack protect their hometown.

Stiles's increasingly violent reactions to any bad news have also shown a darker side to his personality that has grown since his resurrection. His initial reactions to his dark side were shown through his remembrance of the Nogitsunes actions during its control of his body, though he later believed he himself was directly responsible due to letting the Void Kitsune spirit in on two occasions. While he is still a bit of a goofball, he has shown that the recent tragedies and traumas he has gone through have made him more cold and serious. This is especially demonstrated during the pack's reconciliation and hunt to discover the beasts true identity, where he has been more serious towards the pack and even his father. Even after solving the mystery and stopping the crisis, Stiles was mostly serious while telling Lydia about how Scott survived, though he was more at ease than he had previously been, showing he had recovered from the guilt of killing Donovan and the anguish of the pack's temporary breakup.

Since his return from the Phantom Train Station, where he was trapped for three months, Stiles has demonstrated a calmer and more content state of mind, diminishing his anxiety about the future and making him more optimistic in general; this latter change has made him more confident and self-assured when it comes to his personal relationships, as he has grown comfortable with expressing his love for his family and packmates, to the point where he even acted on his romantic feelings for Lydia Martin. Instead of worrying about what would happen to his friendships while at college and how his hometown would survive without the entirety of the McCall Pack to protect it as he did at the beginning of his senior year, Stiles seems much more certain that all of his packmates will always find their way back to each other and back to their home. However, when he returned in the face of the Anuk-Ite's threat, Stiles mentioned that he had lost his optimism a while ago, though he still showed his calm and content state of mind. Stiles also showed more willingness to use violence to protect his loved ones, as he slammed his jeep into a hunter that was about to shoot Scott when he returned to help the pack against the Anuk-Ite.

Void Stiles

After "dying" during a symbolic sacrifice to save his father, Stiles' soul is left vulnerable to influence by an ancient Japanese spirit. He is possessed by the Nogitsune and wreaks havoc on his friends.

Thanks to an intervention by Scott McCall and Lydia Martin, Stiles is able to escape the void spirit's grasp. They separate into two distinct beings, Void Stiles and Stiles. The original is left severely weakened as a result.

Sonya

Sonya is the second-in-command of Group B along with Harriet, another Group B member, in their Maze. She is the younger sister of Newt. Her real name before being taken by WICKED was Elizabeth or Lizzy for short. Her role in Group B seems to parallel that of her brother's.

She is also Thomas, Frypan, Brenda, Jorge, and Vince's best friend and fellow Right Arm member, Aris' best friend and fellow Group B member, Teresa's former enemy and current best friend, and Minho and Gally's best friend and ally.

As a child, Sonya loved her older brother Newt very much, and he was very protective of her. Later on, when she was twelve years old, Newt said goodbye to her before going into the Maze, and Sonya ended up being the one comforting him at that time.

Sonya often has to comfort Newt, even though Newt feel as if it's his job to protect his little sister.

Newt

Newt was generally kinder than many other Gladers, though he could still be rough when he had to keep order. He always tried to look out for his friends and seemed the most upset by the deaths during The Scorch Trials. Newt had a strong accent (either English or Scottish, according to Dashner) and frequently used British curses, most notably "bloody".

Newt was described as being rather tall and muscular, with blonde hair that came down over his shoulders and a square jaw. He had a limp from his attempted suicide, during which he climbed one of the walls in the Maze and leapt off it. In the books, Newt is often "the older boy", hinting that he's at least older than Thomas.

In the films, Newt is played by Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who portrayed him with short hair and a distinctly English accent.

Newt is shown as being friendlier and with a better sense of humor than Alby. While he can be stern, he definitely cares very deeply for his fellow Gladers and has their best interests at heart. He's often the voice of reason that keeps the group from breaking apart, hence his WCKD-given nickname, The Glue. He is shown to be quite sensitive, especially as a child, and struggles to continue when Alby is killed. He is depressed to the point of suicidal tendencies over his friends who died in the Glade.

One of Newt's most defining traits is his selflessness and refusal to let his own problems affect the well-being of his friends. When he gets infected by the Flare, he does his best to stay calm despite being terrified of losing himself and cares only for the rescue of Minho.

Powers and Abilities:

Leadership: In the Maze Runner trilogy, Newt was shown to be a neutral leader, when Alby wasn't around, he used to be the second in command, but when Alby died, Newt stood by Thomas to help lead him and the others to freedom. He has also been the voice of reason for when everyone in the group felt like giving up including Thomas, but Newt encouraged him to keep moving on and to not give up on his choice and he keeps the bonds they formed together going. In the Death Cure film, Newt demanded that he would follow Thomas to rescue their friend Minho and was willingly vowed to trade his life for it even when he had the chance to get the serum from dying by the Flare virus. Then in the end, Newt wrote a letter explaining to Thomas that from the moment they became friends in the Maze, he wasn't afraid to step into the unknown with him and told him that the future rested in his hands, and to take care of their loved ones if he was to perish.

Athletic Human Strength: Newt was a muscular teenager who was strong enough to possess great athletic strength for his height and size. He was capable of assisting Thomas in smashing through a glass window and holding off a Crank from biting his face on his own up physical contact.

Peak Human Durability & Mental Resilience: After Newt tells Thomas that he attempted suicide by climbing up the top of the wall and jumping into the Maze but broke his leg, Minho found Newt and brought him back to the Glade with a broken leg. Newt was still capable of moving very quickly even with a damaged limp in his leg without need of support from anyone to carry him nor even show signs of a strain. In the Death Cure film, Newt leaped out the window of the 20th floor of the WCKD lab with Thomas and Minho landing unhurt in the water. When he reveals that he was infected with the Flare virus, he slowly began losing half of his sanity which caused his behavior to become slightly aggressive but due to the aspects of his mental strength of will he showed a remarkable resilience to the effects of the virus for a constant time limit for 6 months after his injection of the WCKD enzyme known as Bliss, before it completely forced him to deteriorate when fighting against Thomas and begging him to kill him before it almost took him over.

Peak Human Accuracy & Weapon Proficiency: Newt was shown to have achieve complete and utter accuracy on distant targets, with the activity in using projectile weaponry including a dagger in close combat. In the Scorch Trials film, when the Right Arm headquarters was being ambushed by WCKD, he used great skills with a rifle on many WCKD soldier and even made a headshot directly at one of them. In the Death Cure film, he fights against WCKD with Thomas and Gally with a Launcher, using amazing close quarter hand-eye coordination on every opponent that came from each corner direction to the chest part of their hearts and shot a guard who quick draw his pistol at Newt but failed to fire it leaving him unharmed.

Dagger Proficiency: During his time in the Maze, Newt showed to know his way with using a dagger for working or combat.

Brawling: Newt was an adept brawler skills as demonstrated in the Death Cure novel, where he helped trip over a fully armed WCKD Soldier while Thomas knee kicked above after they both stealthily snuck up on him.

As a Crank:

Due to being infected with the deadly Flare virus, it began mutating both Newt's physiology and psychology granting him these few characteristics of a Crank:

Feral Mind: Once Newt's veins turned black, the Flare virus spread to his mind which caused him berserk rage towards any living subject in contact near his position and attempted to bite them.

Pain Suppression: The other attribute of becoming a Crank granted Newt suppression towards pain as Thomas pushed him to the ground and landed a few numerous blows of peak strength on him, neither of which slowed him down enough to be weakened.
