The Starting of the Dark Ages

Welcome to the Dark Ages

We are so excited to see you here and share with you the stories that have been built for this semi-lit to lit Warriors Roleplay.  This roleplay is a little bit unique with its setting. It takes place in and around 1300 AD. While cats were still owned kept as helpers, religion was tossing them out and created superstitions that just weren’t true. Some cats even died, while others just weren’t welcomed were twolegs trailed. The cats moved to an archipelago that use to be home to twolegs, but had long since been abandoned for some “odd reason.” There are four clans, each with distinctive ways of life and beliefs, though there are always some characters among them. Flareclan, the original, Wispclan, the defiant, Torrentclan, the chaotic, and Silentclan, the peacekeeper. They stand beneath Spiritclan and ask for guidance as the ground starts to rumble. 

The Dice System

DAW does allow for dice and requires everyone to set up stats, but you do not have to use them except if participating in an event. We like to allow the use of dice to help with roleplaying and giving fun advantages and disadvantages because sometimes it is hard to say “I fail.” We also have Game Masters to roleplay with you or come up wit random events for you and your partner.  Don’t let stats and dice scare you, there is always someone there to help you along the way and even help you level up or do your stats. Just ask!

Events

We offer monthly or bi-monthy events to give your character a leg up or offer fun prizes to keep you engaged. These can range from your character being granted a gift or prophecy from Spiritclan to getting custom art done on your character. We like to make sure you feel like you are a part of the story and integrate your character so deeply that, if they die, they leave something behind. 

Leveling System

Your character can level up and get stronger in what ever way you have designed for them. Of course, you can always just use your level rewards to buy cosmetics or add fun things for them. Since we use dice and work on stats, you can level up your character to become the best they can be! This gives you progression and something to work towards as well as a visable path to becoming a leader or healer.

Unique Lore, Stories, and More

This roleplay as been designed and worked on for near 5 years now, so there is a deep heavy lore and custom stories written. There is so much to read and discover, but we also would love to add you into the canon, so come join!
