Bruno Bucciarati:

◇ genderqueer, pansexual ; he/him but will also tolerate and respond to she/her and they/them

- Has a massive wardrobe and likes both masculine and feminine fashion. His face is pretty androgynous and he knows how to use makeup to achieve a more masc or more fem face based on how he feels that day

- When not dressed fancy he likes outfits that mix and/or match maxi skirts, slacks, cardigans, expensive jackets, long sleeves, et cetera.

- He's fond of Leone's clothes and can be seen in their house borrowing (stealing) them, especially his band tees that look oversized on the shorter of the two. He finds the smell comforting.

- Underneath his outfits is usually some sort of cute bralette or similar and ALWAYS matching panties rather than boxers, and he's very very fond of intricate white, black or red lace and garters, to hold his expensive socks up of course... sometimes his lingerie will be the most intricate part of the outfit even if no one but he and Leone will see; he finds it to be freeing and euphoric

- Sometimes he dons shaping bras under it all if he has no chest window, and he gets a major kick out of confusing people about his gender.

- Speaking of gender, when asked about it, he will usually give a vague response or just shrug and smile and enjoy what ensues. If pressured though, he often says he is simply a guy.

- Considering taking estrogen, but is not dysphoric

- He doesn't really do piercings, but he has a tongue piercing of all things and one earlobe piercing each. I do think a navel would be fun for him- he's 20 in 2001, let him be silly!

- Expensive tastes in everything, even if he grew up poor. He enjoys wine and cheese tasting with his husband especially

- Probably a neat freak but his office/room is likely a wreck. He is a chronic overworker and sometimes forgets to actually take care of himself. Despite the occasional instances of messiness, he knows exactly where everything is.

- He's an early bird.

- Can cook extremely well and can make anything with what's in the pantry.

- Favors fish over red meat and poultry.

Leone Abbacchio:

- Is post-op top surgery and has had a hysterectomy- his mental well-being improved drastically

- About 5 years on testosterone

- Very very sleepy.

- In high school he was shockingly preppy- a real model student

- After high school and after his partner died, he started experimenting with self-expression during his transition and found peace in expressing himself with fashion and makeup.

- He and his partner were in a close romantic relationship prior to the latter's death.

- He grew his hair out because his partner had once stated he would look handsome with long hair.

- Enjoys goth and deathrock fashion, but his taste in music extends from opera, new wave, prog rock, goth rock to industrial metal.

- Massive Depeche Mode fan.

- Has dabbled in drag before, but he finds it too exhausting to keep up with.

- Hates seafood/fish.

- His wardrobe is all black and red, but he has a few colorful pairs of socks and boxers, often with cat motifs

- His favorite animal is the housecat

- Has volunteered at cat shelters to help out

i say this in all seriousness, a great way to resist the broad cultural shift of devaluing curiosity and critical thinking is to play my favorite game, Hey What Is That Thing

you play it while walking around with friends and if you see something and don't know what it is or wonder why its there, you stop and point and say Hey What Is That Thing. and everyone speculates about it. googling it is allowed but preferably after spending several minutes guessing or asking a passerby about it

weird structures, ambiguous signs, unfamiliar car modifications, anything that you can't immediately understand its function. eight times out of ten, someone in the group actually knows, and now you know!

a few examples from me and my friends the past few weeks: "why is there a piece of plywood sticking out of that pond in a way that looks intentional?" (its a ramp so squirrels that fall in to the pond can climb out) • "my boss keeps insisting i take a vacation of nine days or more, thats so specific" (you work at a bank, banks make employees take vacation in long chunks so if youre stealing or committing fraud, itll be more obvious) • "why does this brick wall have random wooden blocks in it" (theres actually several reasons why this could be but we asked and it was so you could nail stuff to the wall) • "most of these old factories we drive past have tinted windows, was that just for style?" (fun fact the factory owners realized that blue light keeps people awake, much like screen light does now, so they tinted the windows blue to keep workers alert and make them work longer hours)

been playing this game for a long time and ive learned (and taught) a fuckton about zoning laws, local history, utilities (did you know you can just go to your local water treatment plant and ask for a tour and if they have a spare intern theyll just give you a tour!!!) and a whole lot of fun trivia. and now suddenly you're paying more attention when youre walking around, thinking about the reasons behind every design choice in the place you live that used to just be background noise. and it fuckin rules.
