So with Pride around the corner amongst the rampant anti trans, anti drag, and extremely homophobic laws being passed all under the bullshit premise of “protecting” kids, this is reminder that no matter how kid friendly you make an LGTBQ+ event, this nasty bigots do not care a lick because anything deemed queer is sexual, unnatural and they do not believe children can be queer or trans, or a more insidious belief is they don’t care and want the next generation to grow up feeling shame and be forced back into the closet like previous older generations were. Like they want to eliminate everything and everyone one who is queer from the public.

These bigoted reactionaries are realizing they are losing the newer generations who for the most part are leaning more and more liberal, and less inclined to support this fucked up white patriarchal Christian-fascist capitalist nightmare. It’s book bans too, fights over education and history etc. They don’t want freedom they want everyone to fall under their dominion, and maintain their hierarchy, where everyone not white, not straight or cis, not Christian is a subpar human being.

Pride started out as a protest and that’a what it needs to be again. Because fuck anyone trying to erase and eliminate us.
