Mastery Journal Posting Last Course New Media Journalism Master of Arts Education
The Last course of the Master Program in New Media Journalism at Full Sail University Online, this one, is one that contained the tools for a journalist to create a project, literature review, and a thesis paper. The beginning thoughts of this course were wow, we’re almost done. The contents of the course were up to expectation, following the understanding that I, the professional and student will remember how to write a review and thesis. The combination of skills gained throughout this program have helped bring together what I can receive as what this program wants me to learn as a Master student in graduate school.
I successfully completed the tasks that have been graded. I could have added more interviews to improve on the course material turned in. The interviews could have built on one another with transition videos, like priests and nuns and monks becoming involved with the fraternities and sororities. The photography could have been a solution to a misguided understanding of what the fraternities represent, which is on the eye, unknown until researched. The information was readily available, once interviewed. I could improve on writing, according to my peer, Johnathon Poe. The clarity could have been improved, as well as the wording.
I will take this course in my future as a continuing course built on my Bachelors education at the Pennsylvania State University in Journalism and take it forward to a career in journalism. Everything in the course can be applied to real life situations and job opportunities as a member of the United States Press Agency. As a photographer, journalist, and reporter, I will use these tools to send information to employers through email and on paper in person-person involvements. The continuation of knowledge is accepted with the advancement of language in a growing industry of news.
