okay I've been biting my tongue on this one a bit but the odds of any money you give to a uk trans or especially LGBT charity reaching a single uk transfem is vanishingly unlikely. the primary "resource" these orgs provide is jobs for trans people who can make it in a professional environment, and the vast majority of trans hires are tme (and thus unaffected by the judgement!).

if you know a charity run by transfems take a punt but otherwise please donate to fundraisers instead.

Eileen and her family have come under attack by Israeli occupation forces (the Israeli army)❗

The occupation forces are currently bombing the area with gas canisters, and it is likely that they will begin shooting or shelling at any moment! 😞💔

The family is trying to escape, but three of its members suffer from physical disabilities. Adam, her 13-year-old son, has a head condition that limits his mobility.

Ala'a, her 20-year-old daughter, is unable to use her leg due to a previous injury caused by an earlier attack by the occupation forces. 💔

As for Eileen herself, she suffers from severe back pain, which makes it very difficult for her to move. 💔

Shaimaa, her 18-year-old daughter, is doing everything she can to help the family escape. 🥹💔

Eileen’s father, , lives with them in the tent.

He is 70 years old and sustained serious injuries during the war ، He has diabetes and was injured in a nearby bombing, which resulted in damage to his chest, shoulder, and right eye. He is in dire need of urgent surgery to regain his sight in it again.

My name is Abedmajed, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.

In a single missile strike, we lost over 25 members of our family. They were not just names. They were mothers, daughters, sons, grandparents — people we shared meals with, laughed with, and built dreams with.

The missile hit our family home — the heart of everything we knew.

Israel cuts Gaza's final internet line, plunging it into total communication blackout.

Israel bombed the last main fibre route in Gaza, which means that as of June 12, all internet and fixed-line communication services are now completely cut off, further isolating Gaza amidst an ongoing genocide.

I am seeing more and more calls from inside of Gaza for help with eSims as that is currently the only way they can connect internally and with the outside world.

i've been trying to help promote my friend Seraj Aburaida's fundraiser for nearly a year now. in the past 19 months his family has been displaced 5 times. he is only 22 years old and relies on donations to help feed his family of 13 people, as well as provide other basic necessities such as water, medicine, shelter and firewood. the devastation in gaza is unimaginable and now, in June 2025, after nearly 2 years of this horror, the enforced famine is at its worst, bombing and violence are still ongoing, prices are extremely high, everything is bad and there's no end in sight. Seraj should be spending these years completing his education and building his life, not struggling to survive. i always give what i can, but i can't do it alone. please, it would mean so much to me if you could help in any way you're able to, whether it be by donating or reblogging or tagging people who might be able to help. thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this and shows their support

if you're american, please look into your local community's mutual aid groups and such and see if there are ways to support undocumented people in your area right now. theres likely some org near you that you can donate to to help fund someones DACA fees, legal expenses, medical expenses or even just general living expenses

even better if you happen to know anyone personally, or their family, see if you can help them.

if you have any clinics near you that are free you can donate to them as well, as undocu people cant get health insurance so theyll often use those, they can use all the money they can get

if youre not in the us then you can ask your usamerican friends if they have any local orgs too that maybe you might be able to donate to.

if you dont know where to start you can often find local orgs via instagram or facebook - i know that if youre on tumblr you probably arent a fan of these sites but i genuinely encourage logging on there to look because its often really hard to find these things otherwise

i dont see much love on here for our undocumented neighbours and it saddens me especially during current events so i please encourage people to help each other out right now.
