This penguin is another victim of the trade war.

The American president recently expanded his tariffs to include Heard Island and McDonald Islands, an Australian territory. The only residents are penguins.

The penguins have not responded with a comment on the new 10% tariffs hitting their habitat. They waddle along unconcerned, possibly because they import very little fish from the US.

Here's the Hair Keyboard. I built this in 2020. It's basically just a relatively standard QWERTY membrane-dome keyboard, but it's got a very unique look, thanks to a lot of time spent with glue and fake fur from a hobby store. It took a LONG time to comb this thing into usability, and I cannot describe how it feels to type on.

The environments in The Last of us really are so well done. I know it's a mix of set and greenscreen, but I really have to focus on it to actually spot where it looks computer rendered.

If I don't actively consider how the environment is made, I don't notice it at all. The immersion is complete.

Sometimes I think about those high res Jupiter pics and then think about Van Gogh and get emotional because it’s like this one, lonely man that didn’t experience an ounce of fame or recognition in his life time had the image of the universe in his head and he didn’t know it.
