Hey wassup, I made some book covers for one of my favorite series growing up as an illustration project at the beginning of this year. Besides the fact that I hate these versions bc they’re the ones I had to format for printing, I think they look great (looking at u “Lake o Tears”).

starting early with some #roddaverse valentines doodles because i love Them

i love when you have two people who trust each other and support each other and work so effortlessly as partners. when they work like a well-oiled machine. i think that’s my favourite type of ship. even platonic ships. there’s nothing quite like the confidence from that type of love and trust.

and maybe i’m going on and on about Lief and Jasmine, but from where i see it, as painful as series 2 was for my heart, i think it was significant for their relationship. to rebuild trust after mistrust, to reconnect after being distant, to love after being hurt. it really built series 3, because i don’t know what would’ve happened without it. sometimes Lief was very alone, and he certainly needed to have the support he got from both Jasmine and Barda.

edit: oh no oh no, i realised i didn’t give Jasmine freckles and was upset because i like giving her them. but i couldn’t be bothered fixing it, exporting and editing the post. tHEN i realised i forgot Lief’s scars which is integral to my character design pretty much, so i’ve gone back and done the details for them. 

basically, i’ve uploaded the freckles and scars version in this edit.
