i don't know who needs to hear this, but guilt, self-hatred and shame are not sustainable sources of growth and healing. you can't hate yourself into feeling better, or being better. you can't repeatedly punish yourself for your flawed humanity and expect wholesome results.

Beginnings are hard, but maybe its even a bit harder in the case of Astarion and Torimgetih. Some issues arise regarding eating habits and a patron gives Astarion some things to think about.

Story summary:

After the mind flayer crisis, Astarion and most of his companions moved to the Grand Duchy of Dornig, the territory built upon the ancient home of the elfes. In Reywald, they have been trying to search for a cure for Astarion's vampiric condition through any means possible.

On a day, like any other in the last couple of years, a new challenge comes to the barkeeper vampire spawn's life in a shape of a strangely small dragon.
