okay. i need people to understand the main issue here. ncuti gatwa is the first (full time) black doctor. his entrance was overshadowed by david tennant. his entire run has been the least watched run, many of you admit you did not watch his era. now, after only 16 episodes and a few specials he has regenerated and all people are talking about is billie piper. do you really not see the issue at all? and don't even get me started on what they did to belinda! i'm so BOGGLED by the amount of disrespect thrown at fifteen. he barely got to BE HIS OWN CHARACTER. we barely know him and he's gone. unreal.

Motivation to ride has been low lately. But while feeding last night I realized, Nav is overweight 🤦🏻‍♀️ so, I'm using the goal of getting him fit as motivation to ride.

We don't have a ton of poles to work with (I think just 3 in the arena right now) but I'm going to start incorporating them more. Nav and I used to do so much pole work back in like 2017, and he was super fit thanks to it. Of course, I was also riding probably 4 days a week or more.

Recently found my old 101 Arena Exercises book so I'm also going to start using that for ideas.

Truly just being with Nav and grooming or working on clicker training is wonderful for my mental health. Hopefully having some specific exercises and goals for his health with inspire me to ride more often.

Really missing trail riding right now.

My motivation to ride just in an arena (maybe the big field on rare occasion too) is so low. I miss just getting out and about in nature with my horse.

Moving barns is a potential option, but realistically there are not many barns around here that have trails on property. The one I looked at last year while lovely was not a perfect fit.

I know I don't have many active followers, but please, if you're a horse person who doesn't have much if any access to trails or hacking out, what do you do to stay motivated or mix up riding in the arena?
