IPKKND was a show which was made to rewatch again and again to peel away it's layers like an onion.Call it luck or the fruit of the dedication and hardwork that IPKKND team had done on this show, the show had achieved a cult-classic status.Otherwise all the intrigated storylines, the tragedy, the pain in the past, the layered and nuanced acting of the actors would have been overlooked. ITV isn't a medium where the facial expression of an actor needed to be observed. It's a place where character's emotions are showed blatantly by loud music and multiple cuts and effects. But here we are,IPKKND lunatics, trying to read Arnav's subtle facial expression even after 12 years later.Though the beauty of the subject makes the process more enjoyable.😉
Such an moment of this show was where our emotionally-stunted male lead practised the art of apology in front of a mirror in the initial stage of their courtship and did kind of a similar thing again down the line.
The thing is khushi could read Arnav to a level that no one close to him could and that had solved certain problems in Arnav's case and he got away without stressing himself much to adopt the art of communication. And how long can a person read another person without exhausting herself, which happened with khushi here. After the contact marriage khushi could sense Arnav was hurt, that's why he was being mean to her.So, his 'hate' doesn't affect her that much cause she could see the battle going on inside him in his eyes. But after the revelation of truth of the contact marriage she broke down thinking he really hated her, whatever she thought she saw in him, was just her imagination. Then the hope came with a declaration of love, but soon was destroyed by unjust accusation hurled to her in throes of anger. At this point, khushi became the person who was waiting for the other shoe to drop.
So khushi's silence and reluctance toward him was understandable, on top of her heartbreak the guilt towards the whole situation doubled her pain.Amidst all the hurt and confusion, khushi didn't have it in her to decipher Arnav anymore who kept hurting her again and again , she needed clear and heartfelt words of reassurance .And Arnav suspected khushi needed some form of verbal comfort for her hurt . And what solution he came up with?He was practising to make conversation with her when she was asleep just like he was practising to say 'sorry' to her in front of the mirror. Man,Arnav, you are a duffer, who does that?
Day 01
Arnav was a man who despite not interested in marriage in first place, knew the fundamentals of a real marriage. Because, marriage meant a great deal to him.And here his love of life was hurting and he was unable to provide her an emotionally available husband that could erase her woes.A man who couldn't wish his wife a simple 'happy birthday' to her face despite best efforts of the whole day, how could he make her happy throughout their life? The burden of being a terrible husband wore him down. He was barely holding himself, sitting beside her sleeping form with unshed tears in his eyes and a single rose in his hand. His heart was heavy with unspoken words that he wasn't able to say out loud.He was crying not only for his weakness but also for the uncertainity of their future in case thing didn't change and his inability to make her happy. So, the man wished for his wife all the happiness in the world, because that's what he wanted to give her.
And uff those unshed tears that laslty formed a teardrop threatened to spill over his eyes.Who need heart anyway, crush it in a mixer grinder and make chutney with it. Kahe Arnav bitwa, kahe?
Day 02
Arnav remained consistent on his pursuits in consecutive second night. He knew khushi is suffering from self-guilt over the whole situation. So,He promised her everything would be sorted with time. I always get moved by the yearning in his eyes.
And he told her that it's easier to talk to her when she's sleeping.I don't know when I see this scene in an instagram reel in a funny light, like it's easier for him to talk to her sleeping from, coz she talked too much, irritate me so much. There were so much going on here and she wasn't even in her talkative self those days. It's not funny, damn it.This was serious business. The biggest deal of Arnav's life was in progress right here.
I bet khushi was pretending to sleep that night too. And it's my headcanon that she was not allowing to hold him her hand at those nights, but here she took out her hand under the duvet and placed it where he could hold it , in case it's the last night they were sleeping together in the same bed, as she decided to leave shantivan the next day.And it's funny too,how alarmed Arnav was when she moved in her pretend-sleep.His fight-and-flight response was activated.
And then Mrs.Raizada went to her buaji's house, putting a obstacles to Mr.Raizada's night time rituals.Stay tuned to know what Arnav bitwa did next😉.
My scattered thoughts (9/?)

The soundtrack of 'Tu hi bata mere maula' evokes a unique emotional response somehow. I wonder if its impact stems from the fact that the song is narrated by a third person, providing a description of the circumstances surrounding the two main characters. It gives the impression of being orchestrated by destiny, and I love how they intertwined the entire narrative with the concept of a divine being/God, who is portrayed as the playwright of their grand love story. There are not many songs, I suppose, that adopt the viewpoint of an observer or storyteller. What are your thoughts on this?
Hello hello,
Please don't forget to write a hello! Cause person here, not ChatGPT :)
Oh absolutely - based in Lucknow and with Arnav just not really being written as a conventional hero, there are strong themes of sufism, destined love, a difficult love and really how if fate didn't intervene - this would've never happened.
IPKKND is a love story that shouldn't have happened.
Which is why the lyrics are so pointed to destiny, to God, to whoever wrote this tale because it's their will why this is happening.
It's never about two halves coming together. It's never about each getting their perfect love.
This is an intentional, difficult love story between absolute opposites with the fundamental will of the maker. And usually title tracks are about 'oh I love her, oh I love him, oh I have feelings, oh these feelings are tough'
But IPKKND reminds us, periodically, that it's a story. A fictional story where two worlds collide only because of someone else's will. So much so that even the observer - who is more than a human but less than a God - watches the story pan in wonder.
And it's also the specific scenes they utilize this song.
It's almost always done when 'destiny' is changing.
We hear it first when Khushi hopes she and Payal get married to the same house. And we have a saying in our culture that daily, twice, Maa Saraswati sits on our tongues hence our words may come true.
And it does for Khushi and Payal.
Then we hear it during Teej when an awareness seeps into Arnav and Khushi as Khushi, unintentionally, is performing a ritual that hints at their future. And the most gorgeous part is that it is left with discomfort in characters and never verbalized that what happened was symbolic.
The discomfort in both the characters - who didn't move from their spot - is evidence that both know what it implies. Be it an atheist or a devotee.

Then we hear it when Arnav has comforted Khushi, developing and strengthening their emotional bond (which they haven't developed until this point) and when Akash and Payal are going through their worst. Again, it's such a poignant scene in the show because this changes the course of all the four characters.
And this is where we actually see, and perhaps root, for a love story between Arnav and Khushi. And such a crucial point to finally drop in the lyric "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?" because finally it is showing something akin of being a love story, which it wasn't until now.

Then Diwali - a moment of utter mismatch of intentions, decisions, actions and reactions.
And then, of course, during the band aid engagement because of the sheer contrast between what fate has written, what's symbolically happening, what is appropriate and what are the characters emotions.
The most powerful aspect of this song is how true this song is to IPKKND's roots. This, will always be the theme song of the show. There's no finality of love here. Just utter confusion, and a plea to God/fate that if this is your will and this is where they're going then given who they are, complimentary yet different, guide them.
It is poetic.
Love,
Jalebi

ArShi OS: Kyun Farak Padta Hai
Khushi waited by the terrace with bated breath. The fairy lights, the reds, the stage, the beauty in the darkness - it all had one name to it.
Arnav Singh Raizada
But since when was Arnav so expressive? Khushi chuckled at the thought of Arnav, in his three piece suit, fixing the stage up. And that's when one niggling thought crossed her mind.
Could Arnav really do this?
But they hadn't even shared a word of what they shared in between them. But today he wanted to.
The door swung upon and Khushi closed her eyes tight, wringing the corner of her dupatta.
Arnav did not know what was more endearing - the fact that Khushi decorated the whole terrace by herself, perhaps knowing what he wanted to say, or that she was standing in the middle of her own decorations where her eyes closed.
Bilkul pagaal hai
"And I thought I was uncomfortable with my feelings but you amaze me Khushi Kumari Gupta. You can barely watch what you're doing?"
Khushi colored at the familiar snark, she was about to reply but his face was so soft, the smile so mischievous, that she found herself shy again.
"Dekhiye-" She said.
"Dikhaaye,-" Arnav quipped, taking two confident steps towards her.
"Suniye-"
"Sunaiye-" Arnav stood by the stage, him and Khushi eye level at this point. Khushi bit back a smile.
"Hum yeh kehna chahte hai that I am not uncomfortable with my feelings unlike someone who smiles as frequently as the blue moon's appearance. I don't hide anything at all." Khushi, proud of her speech, looked away.
Arnav laughed. So much for her directness that she couldn't even meet his eyes?
"Please Khushi, you know you're good at hiding truths." Khushi was caught aback. The words hit closer than expected. Arnav had never been more earnest in life.
And Khushi had never been aware of just how much she cared for this man until now. The truth of Shyam Manohar Jha, one that felt like acid in her heart, must be revealed to this family.
But it would come at the cost of her and Arnav's... what were they? It wasn't a relationship. She was scared to call it love. It was nameless yet potent.
God, couldn't she be selfish for once?
"What happened?" Arnav frowned, brushing his fingers against her bangs. His bravado was wavering. Khushi had no idea that his entire being was resting on her acceptance of him. It was silly that someone could mean so much that despite all accomplishment their yes could be the most validating moment.
Was it ok to surrender so much to someone in love?
Khushi's eyes fluttered shut as he continued to play with her hair.
Yes
"Khushi, I want to tell you something." He stepped up the stage and Khushi, for once, did not step back.
"But before that, I must admit, all of this is very pretty." Arnav pointed to the decoration. Khushi frowned, was Arnav Singh Raizada such a Laad Governor to praise his own decorations?
Arnav Singh Raizada was unbelievable!
"What? No, you did-" Arnav clarified and they both realized that neither decorated the place.
Then just who did?
Di?
"Di-" "-Anjali ji-"
Arnav and Khushi burst into chuckles. To think they were setup by the ever sweet Anjali Jha! Khushi laughed till her stomach hurt and she clutched his shoulder, resting her head to calm down.
Here they were, unable to tell three words, while the whole world had caught onto their poorly kept secret.
Arnav held Khushi in his arms, and after a moment as their laughter subsided, he wrapped her in a gentle, tentative hug. Khushi looked up, her own hands locked around him, her cheeks flushed from laughing.
"Khushi, mujhe farak padta hai." Arnav confessed.
"From your smiles to your tears, har cheez se farak padta hai." He continued.
"Because-"
"-me too." Khushi confessed.
"Hum aapse, hum aapke bina..." No word could justify the extent of her confession.
"I love you." Arnav said, wiping the slight tear of joy from the corner of her eyes. Khushi gave him the biggest smile and squeezed him tight in a hug.
With a force that nearly toppled him over.
-- -- --
"You didn't say it back-" Arnav whispered as they tried to make an invisible, dignified entrance towards the living room where the marriage proceedings had begun.
"Read my mind for a change," Khushi whispered back, slapping his hand away from her waist.
"What the-"
"Not now! Everyone's watching." Khushi shushed him.
"So?" Arnav grabbed her hand, pleased at the sight of his gifted bangles chiming.
"Arnav ji, we're in the middle of a wedding. Our families are here. It will take them one second to place us in the mandap and get us married as well." Khushi reasoned.
Arnav stopped on the stairs, and for once marriage didn't frighten him. Khushi kept muttering something on the side - which he didn't quite pick up on.
"Don't tell me you're ready?" Khushi asked, her eyes as round as saucers.
Arnav shrugged.
"Pinch me."
"Gladly," Arnav chuckled and pinched her waist. Khushi shrieked and all heads turned to her side. And, miraculously, when she glared at him - Arnav Singh Raizada was found ten feet away checking out the quality of curtains Shantivan had.
"Woh, woh, JIJI I AM SO HAPPY YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED!" Khushi yelled and ran down the stairs, shooting him a quick wink before nearly toppling her sister off the mandap as well with a fierce hugs.
Anjali watched her brother gaze fondly at Khushi from on top of the stairs.
Finally!

Greetings, Jalebi; many were not satisfied with Arnav’s redemption. I am one of them as so many of his flashbacks before going to say sorry didn’t include some important heartbreaks he gave Khushi. Do you think Arnav, deemed a man of action and not words, really understood what he had done to Khushi, a young innocent girl, substantially younger than him on the threshold of womanhood? Later during the abysmal Sheetal track some insecurities partly stemming from his actions reared their ugly head
Hi Anon,
Arnav is extremely privileged and starts off in the show as someone who nearly doesn't consider people as people if they're not in the circle he is in.
It's not an active dehumanizing choice, it's just that his vision is so narrow he's unable to see people as fleshed out living beings unlike himself.
He's too rich, too arrogant and has a ton of confidence (based on his successes).
It's also why Khushi's fight with him at the guesthouse gets through to him unlike anything else. He did not send her there to die - but again, he isn't considering her as a separate human being. When Khushi accuses him of dehumanizing her, of not taking into account she also has a family and pride, feelings, privacy the way he does...
And the fact that he worships money and attaches just way too much worth to money-
Arnav had nothing to say.
And just as he began to understand, Khushi grossly crossed boundaries of his private life so that halted a lot of things. I do think he understood Khushi and his own actions half bit during guesthouse, then at barsi, at the hospital, then at the night of coming back home from kidnapping (it's the reason why he comforts her) and definitely right before his remarriage preps.
I think he realizes before the remarriage preps that despite calling Khushi a trouble, he has been the biggest troublemaker of her life.
Sheetal track, tbh, didn't have any of the insecurities that's there in the existing relationship. I could always understand a Gunjan insecure of her relationship with Samrat because she has that outlook in life.
Khushi never has, and Arnav has never implied that Khushi was not pretty enough or not upto his standards as a wife. The betrayal of trust was a point of contention - not anything else.
Again, we have Khushi reduced from an otherwise confident woman to suddenly being "oh, Arnav prefers his modern exes" after a lot of things passed between the two of them to confirm the validity and strength of their relationship.
If Khushi got together with Arnav during her puppy love phase where she was kinda putting him on a pedestal - I'd get it.
At this point they had shown the characters were mature enough to deal with certain things - and decided to regress them for cheap laughs.
My favorite part of the Sheetal track is when Arnav gets to know and works with Khushi to deal with things.
Because that's them. Khushi is the character to decide to sacrifice what she treasures the most for a person she doesn't know, Arnav is the character to choose logic to work out things.
Those 3-4 episodes of them dealing with the repercussions of them having a child makes the most sense to them in canon.
The 10 before and 20 after? No.
(You can't convince me that a woman who has perfectly been putting makeup and styling herself suddenly turns into a clown - like she legit went WTF at Manorama to end up... having makeup skills like Manorama? Also, Khushi rarely gets insecure of other people. She knows she's strange and one of a kind. The insecurities easily fit Payal like a glove).
Best,
JWB

Let's talk about some heavy stuff. I don't mind watching something problematic as long as it is portraited as such.
When I watched this episode then and even now I don't find it out-of-character as some might find,I had reason I'll discuss. did I find it problematic? yes, sure, he was not reading her body language right, she was terrified. was it portraited as problematic? yes, I never felt that the show was trying to romanticise this situation inspite of the romantic music. Because the music and the song was for Arnav only, not for them as a couple. If what he intended to do was successful, then I would have a problem with it. To my understanding,Arnav was having a different types of turmoil in his mind.
I will talk about two things.
Arnav's abandonment issue
Arnav's PTSD
This was the episode that was telecasted on 13 august, 2012. I have a post highlighted many days that have the probability of being the last day of their contact marriage, mainly because it was fun. And also if anyone watched IPKKND now, they have no way to tell which is the last day as no character mentioned it.But since 2012, the episode where he said 'I love you, damnit' was the last day of their contact marriage as canon for me.So, I watched this episode and still do with the mindset that it's the last day.
Arnav's Abandonment issue
Arnav was terrified of losing people he loved, that didn't need any explanation. That fear came from losing his mother, who he loved most. Also because his mother left him instead of staying alive for his sake. Arnav had been on a emotional roller-coster ride since the moment he met khushi. He fought so hard to not fall for her,but end up doing the very same thing that destroyed his parents. That day on terrace, among many thing, he lost the girl he loved as well. That's a different kind of pain.the person was not dead, she was even his wife, but to him he lost the girl, he loved and dreamt to have a future with. That marriage was as painful and toxic for him as it was for khushi.
Then against all odds,he got her back again, which was very short-lived,his fear almost came true, she stopped breathing. just notice what he was kept chanting '' you can't do this to me ''. And then he continued to go through situation where he could lose her again and again. He started to feel detached from her.
And then he just got her back home by using all the tricks in his arsenal - trying to be vulnerable, threat, manipulation and what not.I think Arnav understood to a extent the reason behind her leaving home under the guise of buaji's illness,as she couldn't live in a house where everyone is bothered by her.He understood that khushi was making herself responsible for everyone's pain and punishing herself as such.Remember how he was having a conversation with a sleeping khushi about how di would understand. Then he tried his level best to make her comfortable in his home,to make shantivan her home too.All the gifts were indication of that, then return to her fav bed side, trying to establish her status in his household.
But return of dadi and her defiance to accept khushi, surely bothered Arnav to a great extend. She started to antagonise khushi with every chance she got. And the clock of contact marriage was ticking.Even if it was not the last day, how dadi was trying to throw khushi out of the house, At that point if khushi again tried to leave Arnav,it would had been very difficult for Arnav to get her back again. Then khushi started talking about their marriage not being complete. I got a feeling here that Arnav was planning something for convincing khushi of his love, but with return of dadi, returned his PTSD,that rendered him unable to perform what he was planning. But if they consumated the marriage, then it would mean a great deal to khushi and she would not leave him if she accepted him as her husband.I think he became desperate here. And as khushi best responded when she was challenged to do something, he selected that method to achieve his goal. So, in the last day of contact marriage, he tried to consumate their marriage. And together with his triggered PTSD, the situation in hand became very messy.
Arnav's PTSD
It was established in the show that when Arnav is triggering his untreated and unaddressed PTSD reared it's ugly head and he ended up doing terrible things.
I just see a pattern. If his PTSD was not triggered, then he would have been patient and more in-tune with khushi just like he was on bachelor night.
But this post isn't a justification of his action. I just understand why he did whatever he'd done that night like I understand why he tore her dori the very first time he met her. He was absolutely wrong in both situation.
I just feel very bad for both Arnav and khushi in this episode. Bitwa just wanted that one thing in his life to go smoothly. And khushi wasn't letting it happen,so he was very angry at her.And on the other hand the dadi, who was very essential for him in his childhood just kept pestering him.And khushi, oh baby, God bless you. Just a few days khushi, then you wouldn't need any proof of his love, you would be so sure of that.
My scattered thoughts (8/?)

hey jalebi what’s like a headcanon you have for characters on ipkknd that wasn’t shown on the show, it could be things like hobbies, education, personality traits, special interests; i always thought that khushi may have a little bit of formal kathak training depending on what the guptas could afford
Hello hello!
This is a fun question so I'll answer this for Arnav & Khushi :)
Hobbies
Running (not just for fitness, running gives him the escape he needs from his head sometimes, a sense of total freedom), Chess (he was good enough to participate inter-college) Reading (anything about society - I like to believe his sense of detachment from the world comes from a dark yet honest perspective of what the world is), Note collector (would want to collect a note from every single country ever - one of the few childhood hobbies that he still pursues apart from gardening), Photography (it's something that helped me in his career as well but I do think he has an eye for visual design, and the photowall in his bedroom? That's his pictures from traveling), Traveling (his favorite hobby of all time - definitely the guy to travel to some remote place and stay there for a week upon his whim), Design (we never see him designing but I do think he's a designer as well and his designs would've been similar to Manish Malhotras - clean, sharp, rich)
Education
Nothing to head canon here :)
Personality Trait
More than personality I have a head canon for his childhood. He never saw his father around much. He was out for 'travels'. Arnav wasn't ever close to any male figure growing up and was very protective, rather than close, to his mother and sister. High chance his childhood was very troubled as well - even though he danced and was trauma free (hence happier).
Also Arnav is GENUINELY a loner - NOT quiet out of trauma. He loves his lone time, gets exhausted in crowd, and is happier around his plants. In fact even in his own fashion show he's done with it in like 3 minutes. He gave his speech, the walks are going, that's it - he'd rather close his eyes and take a minute to breath.
Arnav does not do well with a lot of people. Yes, where he needs to stand out he will. But, he would actually just do a lot better alone.
Special Interest
Bugs are interesting. It ties into his interest in gardening.
Hobbies
Sparkle collector (she's like a little magpie, anything shiny is stored in it) DIY (pillow covers, pompoms, suitcase decor - she'll constantly DIY something or the other) painting (she loves doing little floral paintings and historical ones - imagine that she is influenced by Mughal style paintings) history buff (limited to Indian history, but not enough of socio-politico knowledge you know).
Education
Government school - she never went to college, but learned a LOT of finance and accounting from running Shashi's sweet shop (high chance Khushi was already getting inquiries for marriage so she would've been married off younger than Payal)
Personality Trait
Khushi is a compulsive liar. From harmless lies to serious ones. And she is extremely prejudiced. She does crave attention - she has a lot of loud lonely child traits. She's "loved" but not quite unconditionally. Arnav is loved far more, his sense of belonging is far stronger with his family than Khushi's. But she's also quite ordinary. And that's... beautiful.
Her heart though, is graciously beautiful and she has a GREAT desire for learning. Also she's incredibly ready to adapt. If there's anyone who can weather a storm, it's actually her. Cause the common grass does not get uprooted - the tree does.
Special Interest
She's ALSO a huge SRK fan. Ok.
Best,
Jalebi

My 'KHEYALI PULAO'
(These are the snippet I wanted to see in IPKKND. After every rewatch, I just close my eyes and the scenes are flash through my mind like they are actual scene. I am trying to articulate them here for my future recap. so that I can read them later and also hoping that some day an AI app will come where I can input these scripts and a scene will produce from the app😁😁)

It's the evening of Anjali & Aman ji's wedding ceremonies. khushi was wearing a red saree with matching sequences and crystals all over it. she was looking ethereal. Her hair was curled at the end cascading down her back. she was standing in front of the mirror, looking at the jewellaries, confused of what to wear today. Arnav was looking at her from afar. he had a gift for his wife specially for today that would go with the saree beautifully. he stood behind her and removed the hair from one should to another and then he tied the necklace in her neck.khushi gasped with the combined effect of the sight of the necklace also the sensation of his fingers in her neck. Arnav's finger trailed down her neck to her back, toying with her dori. he kissed her shoulder, then her neck, then her ear, then he put a ear ring there. khushi by the time got her composer back.she turned around.
khushi: ap e jan bujh ke kar rahe hain nah?( accusing him with her eyes)
khushi: you are doing it intentionaly, aren't you?(accusing him with her eyes)
Arnav: mane kya kia?(grabbing the matching bangles on one hand and her wrist on another,he put a kiss on her pulse point and proceed to slide the bangle down her forearm)
Arnav:what have I done?(grabbing the matching bangles on one hand and her wrist on another,he put a kiss on her pulse point and proceed to slide the bangle down her forearm)
khushi:ap hamare khilaf sajeesh kar rahe ke hum late ho jaye.(getting close to each other, a slight movement and they would be kissing) lekin aj hum apko kamiyab nehi hone denge.(khushi nudged his nose with her and then pushed him away) Arnav, aj hum late nehi ho sakte, samjhe ap? hume dijiye(pointing at the bangles). hum khudhi pehen lenge.
Khushi: you are plotting against me so that I would get late.(getting close to each other, a slight movement and they would be kissing) but I won't let you be successful. (khushi nudged his nose with her and then pushed him away) Arnav,we can't be late today, do you understand? give it to me (pointing at the bangles). I'll wear that myself.
Arnav: (giving a long sigh, locking eye with khushi through the mirror) Khushi, you're looking like a dream right now. how do you expect me to behave?( with his husky voice)
Arnav: (giving a long sigh, locking eye with khushi through the mirror) khushi, you're looking like a dream right now. how do you expect me to behave?(with his husky voice)
khushi: try!!
khushi: try!!
Arnav: e to batao mera toufa tume kese laga?

A confession of love in form of a dance performance. But it's the change of costume which is in question here. was that a production mistake? or was that intentional? we might never know. But we can analysis it to death.😎
Let me consider this.
When he stepped into the dance floor,he was Arnav, devoid of all of his facades. And he danced with her without any resistance, he put his heart out in that dance floor to her. When the main dance performance ended, there was some flashbacks with rabbaves. The first one is their first meeting. He was still Arnav.
Then they flashbacked to a time when the line between Arnav and ASR was almost blurred.
Then with the memory of mannat ka chabi, khushi somehow reminded of the duality in him. The dichotomy of Arnav Singh Raizada, who despite not believing in God,went to the dargah. With that memory, he was back to his ASR avatar.
Then they recalled the moments when khushi was punished by ASR for making a dent in his sheild. she was punished by ASR for the weakness Arnav showed toward her. They remembered the moments when she was hurt by his anger, while he was in his SHERWANI-ASR form.
Then they came across a very intimate moment between them, where it didn't matter whether he was Arnav or ASR,what mattered was their emotion toward each other and with that memory he was again her Arnav ji.
That Arnav ji, in whose arm,she could come undone, that Arnav ji, who prevented her fall when she fainted due to fasting, that Arnav ji,who helped her find her way in the circle of diyas and almost kissed her in dewali. And Arnav singh raizada realized that despite denying and resisting so much, despite ASR's fighting tooth and nail against Arnav,he could not help but fall madly in love with her.
Arnav singh raizada stepped on the dance floor as Arnav but stepped down as ASR. Meanwhile the family and guests might had seen him only wearing the sherwani, but to khushi and to the audience and to himself also, he showed the vulnerable side of him. Khushi was loved not only by Arnav but also by ASR. Every version of Arnav singh raizada loved that 'pagal but cute' girl, who became his heartbeat without his awareness.
And with that came a realization that he could be both Arnav and ASR with her, without suppressing the other. There was no need of any push of pull or any fighting of dominance between Arnav and ASR. Finally he found someone with whom he could be both,he could be himself.
My Scattered thoughts (7/?)
