  His cloak felt heavy on her shoulders, but warm. Like an indirect hug to comfort her and shield her from the troubles that plagued her and the rain. The contrast between the downpour and the fabric that was draped over her shoulders caused her to shiver for a moment. She was sure to get sick sometime soon, and she's only got herself to blame for that. At least he didn't make a big deal out of it. That's a relief. She's had plenty of opinions about the Jedi over the past couple of years, most of them she'd vocalize with an eye roll and scoff, but her opinion of Anakin had stayed the same, from the moment she met him to now. They had a silent understanding between each other, spoken in a language only they understood between the sarcastic jokes and jabs at each other, and the occasional passing glances.

  " You can stay, " she sniffled and raised her rain-drenched sleeve to her nose in a weak attempt to regain her composure. It didn't matter how blue she felt, there was always this need to straighten up the moment someone else was nearby. It was partially because she felt EMBARRASSED that she's seen this way. In this world, shedding tears doesn't change a thing. It doesn't make her feel better. And that's something she's learned from a young age.

  Silence. Every so often, a gust of wind would shift the rain sideways, sending droplets skidding across their faces. It was then when Alisele looked into Anakin's direction. " What's on your mind? " It was a daring question. Hell- Alisele wouldn't even fully admit to why she was out here if he asked, and so she didn't expect from Anakin to pour his heart out for her either.

  But still. She considered him a friend. She cares. More if it means it'll distract her from her own melancholy. But she cares regardless. Wholeheartedly. Maybe a little too much.

Anakin felt the woman's tears before he even saw them. He didn't know what Alisele was crying about, but he understood the need to purge it all out. Even though he was supposed to center himself in the Force, Anakin centered on emotion much more than he was meant to. Moments of privacy helped him, especially when it meant he could allow the tears to explode.

"Me too," he said. He was grateful she wasn't a Jedi and wouldn't sense the heaviness in his words. She didn't need to be a Jedi to feel his exhaustion, though. "But you really should have an umbrella."

A Jedi's compassion couldn't be stifled. He removed his cloak in a swift motion, and draped it over her shoulders. It was a bit late for any help. She was already soaked from the rain, and now he would be equally drenched. The cloak would keep her warm, though.

"I didn't think anyone would be out here." There was no bite to his words. Rarely, when he stepped out so late at night, no one was there. He stood straight despite the downpour and looked at where she sat, now covered with his cloak.

"Would you like privacy? Or is company alright?"

For Alisele I've had the AU idea of her being a droid. Kinda Detroit Become Human inspired. In which she either doesn't know she isn't human, or she's becoming more human the longer she's away from her owner/creator. OR, an AU in which she's assumed to be an AI assistant (think LYLA from Across the Spider-Verse kinda), but in reality the poor girl is hidden somewhere in a bunker, kept alive by the hundred of wires that are attached to her.

What do you look for in a rp partner?

Ideally, just patience and cooperation, which of course includes communication. But, I've found that in the 12 years of roleplaying, the Tumblr rpc is far more patient and understanding of others having a life outside of writing. I have attempted roleplaying on other platforms, and I always seem to attract the people who want weekly activity, if not daily, despite having more important matters to tend to. (And then they get pissy and ditch because I'm not active enough, even when I've warned them beforehand that this would happen.) Another thing that I've noticed outside of the Tumblr rpc is that people really cannot be assed to cooperate in terms of planning/plotting. They either have an idea they're hellbent on doing and don't want me implementing my own little twists to make it fun for me too, or they let me do all the thinking work. Not to make this a venting post, but the differences are noticeably huge. The only thing that had me take a hiatus from the Tumblr rpc for maybe 3 years was that a lot of the sub-communities don't really respond well to OCs. The number of OC blogs I abandoned because nobody followed back/interacted is depressing tbh. All my babies are now covered in dust. I'm even surprised people give a damn about Alisele rn. I love you guys for writing with her.
