Batman has no idea why halfway through a standard Joker special of glitter, guns, and ‘im going to blow up this bank!’ fucking Ra’s Al Ghul himself stormed into the room, looked incredibly annoyed to even be there, snapped the Joker’s neck in one fell swoop, and then stormed back out and disappeared while angrily muttering something about how ‘we better be able to finish this fucking meeting in peace now- swear to fucking GOD that boy is annoying-‘

he’s honestly so baffled at Ra’s appearing in Gotham in the first place that he doesn’t manage to save the Joker, and Ra’s refuses to even acknowledge any attempts at asking why the fuck he decided to do that. it becomes Gotham’s greatest mystery, and Ra’s doesn’t realise until he gets back home that he just made the biggest mistake of his life; teaching Jason that whining about his problems will lead Ra’s to take care of them for him.

Why does Marvel have this amnesia towards their projects pre Disney plus? Every year they’re talking about “gayest tv show yet” or “first gay character” like they didn’t have Karolina and Nico from Runaways in 2017 in an explicitly canon lesbian relationship.

And the fans are just as bad. The incels calling everything woke DEI nonsense when marvels shows c.2013-2019 were probably the best tv marvel has put out while also having quite diverse stories.

Now they purposely rate any female lead project poorly, purely because they expect less from women. But shows like Jessica Jones, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D were really popular when airing.

Marvel used to focus on Black stories, have disabled/ neurodivergent characters, explicitly queer charcters, conversations about rape and PTSD and more! So why have they forgotten that they made these high quality shows? And why are the fans now having such a negative reaction to anything that’s not white male lead?

Can we take a moment to appreciate how hilarious Maria Hill is in her two episodes of agents of shield?? Because like, “I swear I need a cocktail and a lobotomy”?? “If you were my agents, it wouldn’t be for long”??? “And I hoped you weren’t the duplicitous lowlife you turned out to be”???? I’m sorry every single thing she says cracks me up. And we don’t talk nearly enough about her doing things like drawing a porcupine in order to rate Ward’s people skills, or saying “sure Colonel, knock yourself out…” and then proceeding to, quite literally, knock him out. Nah I’m sorry she may have had incredibly little screen time but she’s still one of my favourite aos characters and I will forever quote her daily

My favorite thing so far about agents of shield is that every time grant ward shows up I say "God when is someone gonna kill this dude" and then the next scene is the protagonists all going "God when can we kill this dude" and the solidarity I feel with these fictional characters is real

AoS rewatch because life is Ay Carumba right now, and I love it when Ward's all like, "What, I'm not a Nazi just because I'm Hydra!" and Daisy has this look of horrified realization that she actually shared kissy face cooties with the dumbest himbo alive.
