hello character who is desperate to be a good person; i want to play a game. in front of you is the one person you will never be able to save. you have the rest of your life to make peace with this. there are no defined repercussions if you fail, but we both know you're going to attempt to win regardless. your time starts now

Precipitation
.
Dark and angry puffy things
Spilling themselves
Cracks and booms
Hastily drawn flashes
One strike and you're out
But I'll stand here anyway
Smelling the mud
The moisture
And the ozone
Letting the drops drench hair
Soak clothing
Wash away my parched and arid loathing
I'll scream for you to keep pouring down
Fill the streams
Bolster the lakes
Let the flowers imbibe
And sate yonder forest
And let the beasts drink
Replenish the wells
Cleanse this hot hell
I'll sacrifice myself
If need be
Under Thor's hammer
Or by any other God above
To keep the water around here flowing
So the world doesn't just dry up
.

A wallpaper based on Elden Ring (or El Den Ring, Spanish for “The Den Ring”) was suggested by Ben Wurth over at Patreon.com/Tomics.  I haven’t gotten to play the game yet, but I searched “elden ring snake boss” online and made a St. Patrick-themed parody, and I consulted my pal Nick (who’s a Souls veteran at this point) to get some ideas about what to add.  Making parodies of stuff I don’t know personally is always a fun and weird experience.  Now I feel like I *have* to play the game!  Thanks for the suggestion and for the consultation, guys!

A special agent of God, codename: Sunrise, is handed a mission that requires him to take on the role of father.  Little does he know that the Child placed in his care can read the hearts and minds of those around Him, and that the wife he’s taken for his mission is the a̴s̴s̴a̴s̴ sinless virgin, codename: Thornless Queen!  Together, they’re the HOLY†FAMILY!
This is the combined version of my three “Spy x Family”-themed wallpapers!

More parables could use flamethrowers.
___
JOKE-OGRAPHY: In the Bible, Jesus tells a parable about seeds falling on different soils, symbolizing how His teachings will be received by different people.  Later, in Matthew 13:18-23, Jesus explains this symbolism to the apostles.
1. The first set of seeds falls on the path but never enters the soil, so birds come and eat it.  Some people hear God's Word, but they don't try to understand, so they never really receive It. 2. The second set of seeds falls on rocky ground, where shallow soil leads to shallow roots, so the plants grow quickly, but die easily.  Some people hear God's Word, and although they're happy to receive it at first, they abandon It the second It causes them to suffer. 3. The third set of seeds falls among thorns, where they take root but can't grow past the other plants.  Some people hear God's Word, and although they understand, their focus on earthly priorities keeps It from ever bearing fruit. 4. The fourth set of seeds falls on rich soil.  Some people hear God's Word.  Their openness lets It enter the soil of their hearts.  Their devotion lets their faith grow deep, strong roots.  And their rightly ordered priorities let It bear fruit throughout their lives.
In this comic, a child retells the parable, but he messes up the nuance and symbolism by assuming that birds come to eat all the seeds.  When he gets to the part with the thorns, he can't figure out how the birds get the seeds, so he adds that they have flamethrowers (to blast through the growth).  This is incorrect.  Birds had not invented flamethrowers at that point in history.
