He takes time out of his day, not once but twice, to bring Emerie to training and take her home. He’s not doing that for a stranger. He’s doing it for Nesta.

And he made sure Nesta took her sword to the prison, when she and Cassian went. Not to mention he told her to keep it, instead of insisting he take it back.

Rhys obviously wants to show her grace while simultaneously keeping his mate Feyre, unborn babe, and people safe — hence why he took the mask and harp from her.

BTW, Nesta called Rhys, “our High Lord”, when she was trying to get Bryce to go back to the River House in HOFAS.

You can't call yourself a Feyre fan when you either ignore/joke about what Rhysand did to her under the mountain.

It doesn't matter what way you slice it or if you choose to ignore it, it still happened with literal proof aka the first book where he's introduced as the bad guy.

You make it worse when you say "he did it to protect Feyre!" Really?

✨tamsand vs. tamcien weekend✨

September 6th, 2025 - September 7th, 2025

Time is flying and soon, it’ll be time to throw down the gauntlet and show up for your favourite ship! On September 6th to September 7th, 2025, I am declaring it to be TAMSAND VS. TAMCIEN WEEKEND. Two days of creating content to represent your favourite ship and prove which ship has the most loyal, dedicated and whimsical fans*.

*For legal reasons, this is a joke and entirely friendly. We are all apart of the Tamlin Community, which is why I think this could be really fun to do.

HOW WILL IT WORK?

Since this event will be run on my personal blog, make sure to tag me and use either #team tamsand or #team tamcien. Feel free to add your regular tags for more visibility. Once I see your post, I’ll reblog it and add points to your team based on the point system below.

You can create for both. I will give points to both ships accordingly, sigh, even if I’m silently judging you double agents.

Another thing I’ll never understand about the ACOTAR fandom is why playing an instrument is an ick!!

Tamlin playing the fiddle which is just a violin basically (believe me I’ve seen art depictions of people confusing a fiddle with a flute) is honestly amazing to me, the violin/fiddle is also one of the most difficult instruments to master & yet Tamlin plays it so well it captivates EVERYONE!!

You know what is icky THE BAT BOYS.

Tamlin has ACTUAL hobbies: playing the fiddle, writing poetry, a few times it’s been eluded to that he likes gardening

meanwhile the flying rodents do nothing but drink, gamble, fuck, lie, steal, beat, bully, torment, harass, exploit, abuse, imprison, gaslight & manipulate, dress their partner in clothes made by their mother, breed, force people to secrecy, attack, buy more homes than need be. There’s probably more but off the top of my head that’s the basics & none of which are hobbies or anything to fall in love over.

I remembered when Rhsyand repeatedly stated that there are rules to the rite and that Nesta couldn't be saved. I don't remember the exact scene, nor Azriel saying anything. But in ACOFAS, the two seemed quite willing to interfere and kill a young Illyrian during the rite (meaning he's like a child to the fae, a child with muscles and trained to kill and die) just to put down the rebellion. And to tell the truth, I don't remember how that rebellion ended.

Anyway, Rhsyand deemed it more necessary to save Eris and Nesta's weapon than Nesta, his sister-in-law and Cassian's partner. Azriel, Nesta's friend, chose the mission to save Eris. Cassian, who was there during the discussion about tampering with the rite and killing the young warrior, knows that Rhsyand could interfere if he wanted. I hate them.

The whole “Tamlin did nothing Under the Mountain” take is so weird to me.

He was literally the captive. Feyre was the one who chose to rescue him, and after she does, she acts like Tamlin failed her for not helping while magically bound, powerless, and constantly watched?

Imagine being saved from prison, then blamed for not saving the rescuer. Make it make sense.

Fun fact: We got more about Gwyn and Emerie's trauma than Nesta'a trauma...in Nesta's own book.

We got more on Feyre's trauma and Cassian's and Mor's trauma than we did Nesta's.

We got more on Nesta's torture and violation in the Cauldron from Rhysand's perspective than Nesta herself for crying out loud.

Nesta spent all book long sleeping with Cassian as a coping mechanism rather than  opening up and coming to terms with her trauma. If Nesta went on and on about her trauma than this fandom would actually understand her trauma, instead we have people denying that she was abused, groomed, neglected, sexually assaulted, tortured, killed, and violated...even though all of those are canon.
