Working Life

I don’t know pano to sisimulan. Pero ayun nga sharing time, about working life. Sa halos dalawang taon mahigit kong nagtatrabaho dito sa bank kahit papaano magaan naman ung pakiramdam at experience kase kayang-kaya ko ihandle ung mga nagiging pagsubok at iba pa. Kaya minsan napapaisip talaga ako bakit parang ang lungkot ko,pakiramdam ko ang hina-hina ko, wala akong new learnings na naaacquired, at parang sobrang bored ko. Yun pala nakakalimutan ko na ung sarili ko, ung pakiramdam ko na dapat magtrabaho ako maigi araw-araw, magsipag, pumasok, at iwasan tamarin talaga para sa pamilya ko, para sa output, etc. in short para sa ibang mga tao. Mali pala yung ginagawa ko, isang araw na nasa simbahan ako parang biglang nagflick sa utak ko na ay bakit ganon? Parang may kulang, yun pala hindi ko na napapahalagahan ung sarili ko, tapos wala pang nagpapahalaga saken, hahaha. Pero realtalk talaga, parang pakiramdam ko mag-isa nalang ako. Parang nagkecrave ako sa alaga, atensyon, at pagmamahal. Yun pala kase pati sarili ko hindi ko na naibibigay yon panay asa ako na sa matanggap yon sa isang tao pero sadyang hindi mo naman pwedeng pilitin na ibigay sayo yung mga bagay na ganyan kase umay naman sa pakiramdam kung hindi genuine diba? Pero ayun nga sobrang lungkot ko, ung ligaya na gusto sadyang hindi talaga nabibili ng pera. Ngayon magbibirthday pa yung prinsesa ko, parang mas malungkot parin syempre kasi wala na siya sa piling namin pero at the same time kailangan kong maging masaya na safe na siya dun at hindi na siya maghihirap. Kase kahit ilang beses ko balik-balikan tapos madalas pag asa trabaho pa ko magfla-flashback lahat ng nangyare para kong dinudurog halos araw-araw. Nakikita ko nalang ung sarili kong umiiyak nalang bigla, ewan ko ba. Ung parang sana hindi nalang siya kinuha samin, kakayanin ko naman lahat gawin para sa kanila magkapatid. Ung kahit na ganto sana na araw-araw akong nalulungkot at nasasaktan okay lang pero ginagawa ko padin lahat ng makakaya ko para makapagprovide sa lahat ng pangangailangan nila, relief yun eh yung ah oo nahihirapan ako pero worth it kase lahat ng kakailanganin nila nadidiskartehan ko kaagad. Hindi kagaya ngayon wala nasasaktan at nalulungkot nalang wala na mashadong worth. Ung parang sana ako nalang po ung kinuha ganon ung pakiramdam. Hindi kase kagaya ngayon na parang pumapasok nalang ako nagtatrabaho tapos uuwi, matutulog, tapos ganon nanaman kinabukasan parang wala na kong purpose ganun nalang palagi. Hindi na ko nagkaroon ng dasal na para sa sarili ko, pero siguro kung magkakaroon ako ng isang dasal para sa sarili ko; Sana maranasan ko naman ung genuine na kaligayahan. Yun nalang siguro. Yun lang sapat na. At sana lahat din ng nagbasa neto, oo kayo eh maranasan niyo din araw-araw ung genuine na happiness hind ung parang nagtatrabaho nalang kayo palagi na parang wala ng purpose sa buhay.

Morbius

So ayun na nga it’s been awhile! Grabe! Sobrang busy haha, and itong sharing na ito supposedly nung nakaraang linggo pa nako haha. Anyway last week thrice ko ito pinanood, and i-share ko lang ulit yung feedback ko. This Morbius movie starring Jared Leto, very good picked! Sobrang suited yung role para kay Jared, and he acted very well! Nakakatuwa na nagawa nila yung film na kahit papaano angkop sa comic, well may mga atleast 10 big differences talaga kagaya nalang ng hindi pinapakita na nagtuturned into vampire din lahat ng mga nadedrain nila na tao silang magkababata since parehas silang naging main vampire dito, and dito is parang overpowered si Morbius unlike sa comics parang mas malakas talaga siya ng doble. Still great movie, and highly suggested to watch! Panoorin niyo promise maganda ung scenes, and cool yung mga actors on their roles! Sulit talaga, kaya ko nga halos thrice pinanood talaga pero at the same time nakakabitin well it’s marvel! If you want to follow the story talaga dapat mapanood mo lahat from movies to disney+ series tsaka mas okay if mapapanood mo siya ng sunod-sunod talaga hindi yung by yearly. So ayun, next time ko na ikekwento naman ung Doctor Strange: MOM kase for sure mas mainstreamed to at mas madami ng nakapanood unlike sa Morbius haha.

Day Before A National Holiday

Good morning! So today may pasok tapos bukas wala, syempre! Haha pang-intro lang, pero ayun na nga! Sana mapanood ko na ulit ung mga Marvel series ko dito from Disney+, sobrang busy naman kase sa work haha. Hirap na magsingit ngayon ng oras kahit sa mga small doings kagaya ng panonood talaga, tipong pag-uwi mo ng bahay nako ligo tulog na talaga minsan kase mapupuyat ka pa ng madaling araw dahil di ka mapakali kakatingin sa mga bata haha. Pero that’s is super okay lang! May part lang na parang nasasad ka kase may gusto ka gawin na hindi mo magawa. So bukas holiday, well sana medyo maging productive ang araw naten ayan medyo kase ang unproductive ng self-life ko nitong mga nakaraan alam mo yung sobrang focus ka sa trabaho? Well nature ka na pala talaga to ganun talaga ako. Hayst self! Laban lang, well sana makahanap ako ng self-time ko this month diba? Madaling isipin, or magdecide pero kung isasagawa mo talaga medyo mahirap talagang maisingit sa schedule. Kayo kumusta naman ang mga buhay buhay naten jan? Foods.

A story about my eating habits. Well ang pinakagusto ko talagang irant is stress eating! I hate this feeling talaga na whenever you’re stressed, pissed, angry, etc., laging ang ending is eating! Wala kase akong bisyo, as in. Marunong uminom oo, pero di ung casual talaga tsaka hindi ko yon takbuhan. Talagang ang takbuhan ko is pagkain, sobra sobrang pagkain. Nakakainis kasi ung pakiramdam na yun ung magpapagaan ng nararamdaman mo, oo malaking tulong pero grabe naman yung epekto nito sa health diba? Nakakagaan nga ng loob, pero sobrang nakakabigat sa health hahaha. Di kasi talaga ako makahanap ng ibang paraan para mairaos ung mabigat na nararamdaman ko every time. Ikaw na nagtyagang magbasa nito, baka naman may masuggest ka na pwede kong gawin ganon, hayst. Pero ayun nga gusto ko talaga siya mabago. For sure ang nasa isip mo kung gusto mo talaga bakit di mo magawa, well kasi wala pa akong mahanap sa ngayon na alternative ganon and kapag hindi ko siya nagawa ako lang din ung magsa-suffer talaga ng malala ung tipong bad mood ka the whole day hanggang kinabukasan ganon. Disney+ | Daredevil.

Done watching Daredevil Season 1 to 3! Napakahusay ng pagkakagawa, sobrang into details talaga. The story itself ang cool na most part is parehas talaga sa comics kase usually medyo iniiba nila diba. Sobrang cool ng story ng Daredevil because he is a blind guy who fight for the freedom talaga ng city niya, while avoiding killing anyone. Astig diba? Imagine nakikipaglaban ka in daytime as a lawyer and nighttime as a vigilante, ang pinakatwist pa dun ay inaavoid mo na pumatay, where you’re just beating bad people to talk. So far nasa top 5 ko to na story sa marvels, and putting it in a movie was really satisfying! Well on the latest comics hindi pa namamatay si Kingpin, pero may leak na on the next comic possible na si Daredevil padin ang mapoprovoke to kill Kingpin, even in Hawkeye naman they just avoid Kingpin talaga so since main enemy ni Daredevil si Kingpin for sure siya din ang papatay talaga sa kanya. Excited for the next season sana meron pa, pero wala pa as now kase running ung Moonknight ngayon and yes! Papanoodin natin yan let’s go!

Changed url! Bukod sa pinaikli ko yung url ko, katag it has several meanings talaga. Pinakauna syempre initials ng mga anak ko which is given syempre the father of whom haha. Still wala akong gustong iboto, wala akong napupusuan na kandidato kahit na sino! Hahaha, alam ko itatanong mo eh bakit ka pa nagrereact sa usapin na to? Well alam mo marami akong kinoconsider na bagay. Kagaya nalamang ng Campaign Rally na yan! Jusko! Wake up people and candidates! Alam ko mahalaga yan, pero mas mahalaga pa ba talaga yan kesa sa Health niyo? Guys may Covid19 pa, hahaha. Seryoso ba kayo sa paggawa ng ganyan? Sige sabihin nating pwede yan, do you still think walang kabangga yung ganyan? Kung pwede pala yang mga ganyan eh bakit bawal yung mga Fiesta? Fiesta ng Nazareno? Mass Gathering din naman pala eh bakit bawal yung mga religious activities? Diba? Well going back, wala akong kandidato una sa lahat para saken kung matino ka talagang kandidato kahit ikaw pa ay madehado mas pipiliin mo nalang yung magkaron ng ibang ways to campaign yourself like social media lives, etc. etc. madaming paraan. Pangalawa, if you really care para sa bansa mo mas pipiliin mo yung pagkakaisa kahit kalaban o kaaway mo pa, hindi yung siraan dito siraan duon. Wthell man, that’s so boring! Kaya kayo, iboto niyo ung sa tingin niyong may maiaambag talaga ha? Well ako, sorry pero I will waste my 1 vote, magalit na kayo saken pero para saken mas waste yung isang boto ko kung wala sa puso ko yung sa tingin ko talagang karapat dapat. Maging mausisa, at malawak ang pagtingin sa mga bagay-bagay bago magdesisyon. Kaya niyo yan guys, mas gugustuhin ko na puti ang kulay ng bukas hindi pula, pink, violet, orange, o ano pa man haha. Boring Life.

Suppp!!! Everyone!!! Another day to live!!! Kumusta ka kaibigan? Are you still excited para sa susunod na bukas? Do you still feel that urged na gusto mo pa gawin ang isang bagay na madalas mo ng ginagawa? Haysstt napakadaming tanong hindi lang yan. Sobrang daming bakit? paano? saan? ano?, hirap diba? Yung tipong parang kinekwestyon mo na halos lahat ng bagay ng kusa kahit hindi mo gusto. Well ako, eto kagaya mo, kagaya lang din ng karamihan ng tao na may sariling pagsubok na nararanasan. Pero patuloy lang, patuloy parin na lumalaban araw-araw kahit na para bang hindi mo na alam kung may pupuntahan pa ba yung mga ginagawa mo. Kaya ikaw jan, kung ano man yang pinagdaraanan mo ngayon? Reality Rules.

Unless you’re winning, most of life will seem hideously unfair to you.

The truth is, life is just playing by different rules.

The real rules are there. They actually make sense. But they’re a bit more complicated, and a lot less comfortable, which is why most people never manage to learn them.

Let’s try.

Rule #1: Life is a competition

That business you work for? Someone’s trying to kill it. That job you like? Someone would love to replace you with a computer program. That girlfriend / boyfriend / high-paying job / Nobel Prize that you want? So does somebody else.

We’re all in competition, although we prefer not to realize it. Most achievements are only notable relative to others. You swam more miles, or can dance better, or got more Facebook Likes than the average. Well done.

It’s a painful thing to believe, of course, which is why we’re constantly assuring each other the opposite. “Just do your best”, we hear. “You’re only in competition with yourself”. The funny thing about platitudes like that is they’re designed to make you try harder anyway. If competition really didn’t matter, we’d tell struggling children to just give up.

Fortunately, we don’t live in a world where everyone has to kill each other to prosper. The blessing of modern civilization is there’s abundant opportunities, and enough for us all to get by, even if we don’t compete directly.

But never fall for the collective delusion that there’s not a competition going on. People dress up to win partners. They interview to win jobs. If you deny that competition exists, you’re just losing. Everything in demand is on a competitive scale. And the best is only available to those who are willing to truly fight for it.

Rule #2. You’re judged by what you do, not what you think

Society judges people by what they can do for others. Can you save children from a burning house, or remove a tumor, or make a room of strangers laugh? You’ve got value right there.

That’s not how we judge ourselves though. We judge ourselves by our thoughts.

“I’m a good person”. “I’m ambitious”. “I’m better than this.” These idle impulses may comfort us at night, but they’re not how the world sees us. They’re not even how we see other people.

Well-meaning intentions don’t matter. An internal sense of honour and love and duty count for squat. What exactly can you and have you done for the world?

Abilities are not prized by their virtue. Whatever admiration society awards us, comes from the selfish perspectives of others. A hard working janitor is less rewarded by society than a ruthless stockbroker. A cancer researcher is rewarded less than a supermodel. Why? Because those abilities are rarer and impact more people.

We like to like to think that society rewards those who do the best work. Like so:

But in reality, social reward is just a network effect. Reward comes down mostly to the number of people you impact:

Write an unpublished book, you’re nobody. Write Harry Potter and the world wants to know you. Save a life, you’re a small-town hero, but cure cancer and you’re a legend. Unfortunately, the same rule applies to alltalents, even unsavoury ones: get naked for one person and you might just make them smile, get naked for fifty million people and you might just be Kim Kardashian.

You may hate this. It may make you sick. Reality doesn’t care. You’re judged by what you have the ability to do, and the volume of people you can impact. If you don’t accept this, then the judgement of the world will seem very unfair indeed.

Rule #3. Our idea of fairness is self interest

People like to invent moral authority. It’s why we have referees in sports games and judges in courtrooms: we have an innate sense of right and wrong, and we expect the world to comply. Our parents tell us this. Our teachers teach us this. Be a good boy, and have some candy.

But reality is indifferent. You studied hard, but you failed the exam. You worked hard, but you didn’t get promoted. You love her, but she won’t return your calls.

The problem isn’t that life is unfair; it’s your broken idea of fairness.

Take a proper look at that person you fancy but didn’t fancy you back. That’s a complete person. A person with years of experience being someone completely different to you. A real person who interacts with hundreds or thousands of other people every year.

Now what are the odds that among all that, you’re automatically their first pick for love-of-their-life? Because – what – you exist? Because you feel something for them? That might matter to you, but their decision is not about you.

Similarly we love to hate our bosses and parents and politicians. Their judgements are unfair. And stupid. Because they don’t agree with me! And they should! Because I am unquestionably the greatest authority on everything ever in the whole world!

It’s true there are some truly awful authority figures. But they’re not all evil, self-serving monsters trying to line their own pockets and savour your misery. Most are just trying to do their best, under different circumstances to your own.

Maybe they know things you don’t – like, say, your company will go bust if they don’t do something unpopular. Maybe they have different priorities to you – like, say, long term growth over short term happiness.

But however they make you feel, the actions of others are not some cosmic judgement on your being. They’re just a byproduct of being alive.

Why life isn’t fair

Our idea of fairness isn’t actually obtainable. It’s really just a cloak for wishful thinking.

Can you imagine how insane life would be if it actually was ‘fair’ to everyone? No-one could fancy anyone who wasn’t the love of their life, for fear of breaking a heart. Companies would only fail if everyone who worked for them was evil. Relationships would only end when both partners died simultaneously. Raindrops would only fall on bad people.

Most of us get so hung up on how we think the world should work that we can’t see how it does. But facing that reality might just be the key to unlocking your understanding of the world, and with it, all of your potential.

Sometimes a man is afraid to be without security or without certainty, for even a short time. He has more excuses than dogs have hairs. He must just simply dive in and stand not knowing what will happen next. Right?

What about this? Bagong pagsubok nanaman sa mga tao ngayong 2020, daming ganap ngayong bagong taon no? Sana nga pagsubok lang lahat ng ito, dasal lang at magiging matatag tayo. At tsaka nga pala dun sa mga tao na pala-fake news, nananamantala, at nagagawa pa na gawing biro yung mga nagaganap? Nawa'y kayo nalamang ang makaranas ng sakuna at wag na yung mabubuting tao.
