I got a new job!!

It has taken a few months but I FINALLY landed a new job! I am heading in tomorrow (Monday, 23rd) to get into the system and hopefully get my schedule then!

Sorry for the long silence all, the more time that passed without work, the more stress was building up and it completely shattered any motivation and creativity I had!

Also, while responding to a friend tonight, I nearly typed out Xomet trying to type Comet and I was all.. OuterCross? Yes please!

Hello lovelies. I'm sick and going to ramble. And it most likely won't make sense!

Hello and welcome, it has been awhile!

You are fine here. This is the realm of the classic timeline. You are safe here, everyone has a script and they follow it.

Level Two: Introductions to AUs

Oh wow! You mean there are more stories?! How many more? Infinite?! Wowie Zowie Batman! What about one where they swap personalities? Really?! Oh oh, what if everyone was a massive edgelord? OH SPIKEY! And what if..

Sit back and enjoy the ride, start trying to pick a favorite now. It will change, frequently.

Sometimes, people skip straight to Level three and don't look back. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

Unless you like murder hobos, then go for it.

Here we find the Killer fans, Horror Fans, ect.

Level Five: Creation Begins Again.

How many AUs do you have sitting in your brain, or a folder, waiting to be finished?

How many polls have you voted in? Did your favorite win or are you hoping for next year?

You start to question why certain things are just accepted in the fandom as canon or if there is a key root back to the source material.

How many times have you played the game? Do you start a new one on each device, and picture it as a new AU so you can give the monsters in that particular AU a happy ending?

Have you created an imaginary Parlor or Lounge for people to request spicy or comfort time with their favorite characters?

Do you have a rotating background of SO MUCH DAMN FANART so you can always minimize anything and get that dopamine fix?

You are in too deep now.

You are reading into histories and lore dumps. You know more about Nightmare's crew than you do about your best friend. You dream of having that damn Isekai moment and waking up in a world where all this is real.

Going to keep my life updates off the main blog for now, unless it is major.

Quit the old job (a few months..) due to stress and mom taking a turn for the worse

She is in a nursing home for physical therapy rehab now and will come home soonish

finally put my SSD case to rest, been fighting it since I was cut off. Got tired of feeling under the pressure of worrying about it as well as thinking I am always being watched, yes I am that paranoid.

Family issues I will not go into here.

Had an interview with a different sort of job, this morning, hoping for a call back this weekend!

Went to a Waffle House style diner today on my own. First time in ... Years. Felt, freeing.

Lost my foodstamps due to some issues but going to reapply when mom comes home.

Getting some inspiration to write but for a story, working on the blog soon as I can. Life has really hit me hard last year and this one.

Looking into getting my CDL at some point soon.

I think that is everything.

it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age

it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.

you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.

young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!

there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big
