I can’t help but feel unnoticed now?

I know I shouldn’t be bothered with the number of notes on my art, but I feel kinda sad waking up with only like less than 30 notes, especially on something I spent quite a long time on (to put more context : the vampire xeph) I honestly feel proud of it because I really placed a huge amount of effort in it, and to see it not getting noticed much (compared to the older good ones that exceed like 300), it just seems a bit upsetting But then again it might be because its Ryth’s birthday and everyone’s drawing fanart for him (im not a huge fan so I didnt do one)….or maybe because its xeph (associated with lewis) and they won’t want to leave notes for it….(or people just dont check the tag because theyre afraid of the drama) I don’t know…it’s hard to not care about these kinds of things when they actually matter and lifts your spirits up. Honestly, I won’t be bothered much if I posted a doodle and it got like 10 notes. Really. Let’s be honest. All of us do care about the feedback, about the recognition. You did something really neat for once and you showed the world what youre most capable of, and for only a few people who could see it. It’s a sad scenario to think about. Sure, you can label me as an attention seeker. ‘An artist who only cares for notes’. Whatever. I don’t care anymore. I just want to get this out of my system.
