Alas, the world is healing. There's no reason for her to stay here any longer. The world is no longer in need of a watcher.

The purpose of her, it is unclear. Now that Father has given his first approval of a fully acceptable cycle. What is she do to but watch, perhaps she would call upon Father.

It has finally come to pass then..? Maybe, she would wish for her own end. To be forgotten. Might be for the best like that.

Mother watches how Adam is breaking down, how his rage is being let out over this whole.. Damned trial. She could only agree. She would have done some other trial, if it were up to her.
Hands shaking her cloth, wrinkling the regal robes while his rage is let out and slowly dissipating out to tears and the wailing of his emotions being let out. Her figure slowly getting smaller to face him more at an appropriate level being a few heads taller only. Putting her arms around his head and letting him rest it on her body. "I am so, so sorry, Adam. I cannot do that." She said to him during the gentle hold. A mothers caress and stroking his head to calm him down. He might not have had this opportunity to have a mothers caress, the gentle hold. But he deserved it.
"We do not choose who dies and who lives." There was a lot to say, but deep down, she wanted to give it all back if she had the choice. Only one could grant those, and Father was likely to not grant them, or if he is, then the chance of it was uncertain. One could never know with Father and his wishes. "There are a lot of prayers and wishes I can grant, sadly.. This is not one of them. I cannot change your fate, nor the others that has already been passed." She continued to say as she comforted him, however much or little it did for him.
Golden eyes flicked from the floor and to the Seraphim that had been here. For how long? He didn’t know nor did he very much care, normally, people would have a feeling of an unwelcome guest in their home when one comes in without asking. But for Adam, she could have this place, he didn’t need it any longer.
The words that leave her lips should have made him feel something. She was sorry. Sorry… When was the last time he was given an apology? No one does that for the first man, let alone give a true, honest apology because to most, what happened to him is simply his just desserts. Adam didn’t deserve apologies, not with how he acts on a day to day. So… Why accept an apology when given? Especially from someone who had taken so much from him.
“Br… th… ck…”
His voice was so small, so hard to hear that only some syllables could be made out amongst the mumbling of dry, chapped lips and down casted eyes that had left the sight of Mother.
That was until in a flash, Adam was in front of the Seraphim, steadfast hands grabbing onto the nice clean, untempered cloth she wore that very much broke the silence in the room with the sound of fabric being tightened around closed, neglected and bloodstained fists.

“Bring them back! You monster! Murderer! Unholy! Abomination!”
Fists shook with now dampening gold liquid soiling the pristine cloth adorned on mother. The First Man was angry, yes but most of all he was desperate.
“Lute, Eve, Charlie, Roo, Katya! Bring them back!” Adam… Watched all of them leave him. Every single one of them. The look in his eyes was of a shattered man cursed to be a survivor of an impossible war that should not have been won. Those golden eyes looked deep up into Mother’s own, imploring, pleading and begging for something, anything, to rid him of the pain and guilt he felt. A husband who had failed to protect his loved one time and time again, who only sat and watched as they sacrificed themselves. How could a broken man like that continue to live with so many regrets and wishes to take their place?
That’s when a new sound was heard, a drip of liquid, a tear, cascading down his features before a waterfall soon to follow of mourning regret.
“Please… Take me instead. Let me replace them… Wherever they are. I know it’s not much, I know I’m not worth even one of them but please… What else is there left for me here?” His voice scratched against his throat, making it terribly hard to speak everything he needed to. Watching Eve die after losing Lute and then Roo, it all… Shattered what resolve he had. God, Mother and the Harbinger’s all won, they got what they wanted and he could feel the pointed laughter from them as if they were already in the room reveling in his demise, seeing the abrasive and harsh first man get torn and reduced to the nothing of a person he is.
His forehead soon rested against her robes, weeping and speaking fruitless offers and reasons that deep down, even a dreamer like him knew was all in vain.
“Why do they get to die and I have to live? What was it all for…? I’m sorry… I’m sorry for who I am, for what I became, what I’ve done. If this is divine punishment then please… make it stop. You win. Please… I’m begging you just bring them back.”

Mother leans down, holding Emily's cheeks and placing a small kiss on her forehead. "What happens now, is uncertain. Things are now out of the sight of what has been done and what we know of. You are free from me, from Father. But what happens now, is all up to you and your cycle, little one. Take care, and I'm sure you will be what is needed for Heaven. And for Hell, for that matter." Mother replied as she stood back up and looked out from the balcony at the high point of the building. "It is time, I'm hoping you will make great things here in Heaven and Hell combined." Mother said then looking back towards the young High Seraphim. "Goodbye, little one." A soft smile on her face as the view becomes obscured but her wings, and the next moment. Gone.
She looked up at her, so much like Sera..
"I know, Mother. The halo, it shows me some things. I made sense when I got it. I never knew it was showing so much. But also that I must never talk about certain things. I see why Sera was like that. How she was against Hell.."
It was a rush of information, some time after getting the halo. Secrets, plenty of them. What do to with certain things, some public, some confidential.
"Mother.. What happens now?"

"I hope so too, that is what I would like to have too. Peace.." Mother then turned her attention over towards the much exhausted looking Angela. She wasn't in a dangerous state, but.. Pained Mother to see her like this. She does hold a place in her heart after all.
"Dear Angela." She said coming closer, while she was shrunk down to a more appropriate level with the others, at to not fully tower over them. She leaned down with her hands taking the others. "This might not be my cycle, you aren't my Angela. I do still care for you like you were her. Fallen or not." Mother spoke as she leaned in to give her a gentle kiss on the forehead. Wounds would close and recover her wings. Though her body would still need rest to fight the fatigue. "Take care of one another, okay?" She then looked over to Marie and then Philza. "Goodbye, to you all."
The next moment, she was gone. A single down of her wings remaining in the air falling gently to the ground. Ash has also disappeared, gone along with Mother. Leaving Philza, Angela and Marie to be alone together.

Angela was only half listening to Mother and Philza as she leaned herself against Marie. She prayed that they would finish soon. Standing like this..after everything she recently went through..it was taking a toll on her.
But she did her best to listen, in case they needed his abilities down the road. Anything was possible.

"I see, though I understand you might not have gotten used to the new gift. I should maybe have helped you along with it as well. You might have noticed the lack of mobility from the wing, only natural with the faded coloration and strain that comes with it. Your flight is lowered in efficiency, if you use it to the limit, you will see what you have been given."
"Same with your eye, while you are grazed with the sight for the souls. I also gave you the sight to see further into them. Go on. Give it a little look, dear Death." Mother said with a wave over Philza, half his vision blurred till it would focus back to normal. Mother's soul. Radiant, all the colors there are emanating from her and her core. The core, being faded. "You have the sight to see their vulnerabilities fully, to look into them. And your wing, while it might hurt your body, the burst of speed might come in handy. Despite the trial being over."

Angela was careful to move away from Philza, stepping to the side so he could approach Mother. As she started to waver in her stance, Marie was there to keep her up carefully.
Marie was gentle, keeping her right arm by her waist, allowing Angela to lean her head on her shoulder.

"Oh? Did you not reflect upon it enough? Well, it would hardly seem fair to have you pay the price for something you could have used. Allow me to grant them back then, as a parting gift." Mother said motioning him to come forth, besides, she doubts he would ever need this gift now that the trial and the ordeal with Father is over. Allowing him to at least live the days over with Angela and their child more comfortably.
@fxiled-fxithful @mages-pandoras-box
About ten minutes after being given the order, a blue portal appears beside Mother with Ash holding both Angela and Marie’s hands.
"Both ladies delivered to your side Mother, as you requested."
It didn't take long for Angela to realize where they were. Bearing through the pain, she releases her brother and runs straight into Philza's arms. She clung onto him so tightly, as if her life depended on it.
"Philza.."
Nothing mattered to her in that moment, save for the Angel Death. She was practically shaking in his arms, silent tears falling against her cheeks.

Marie remained where she was, still rather terrified to be in the presence of Death. She wasn't going to say anything unless she was spoken to.

"Don't apologize little one. I'm the one who should be sorry. I've wanted to intervene so many cycles, but everything still happens the way they turn out." Mother said as she took hold of Emily's hands, she might not have had an Emily of her own, yet she has been given care of many before in other cycles. "Yes, I'm afraid this is it. But know this, no more fighting will happen. Not from me, not from Father. You're doing so well, Emily. Keep up your spirits, okay?"
It took a bit out of her, she haven't let loose her tears out since.. Since Lute was here, it was cathartic and much needed. Still, she shouldn't make herself look like this, she was High Seraphim now, she should act like it more. "I'm.. I'm sorry, Mother. I shouldn't be doing this." Emily said this, though.. It felt like she needed it once more. And the touch of her hand upon her head was like earlier days with Sera back. "This is it then? You're going to go back to Father, then what?

"Ash should know any moment now that he is to bring them both, but as for me.. That's something entirely different case. I don't plan on sticking around, I hope I am finally able to be put to rest. I have seen enough cycles for my liking. Yours will continue till its natural end will happen, then a new one will begin again. From here on out, I doubt Father will plan on meddling further but one can never know."
Mother said as she was, tired. Hopefully now, she can be laid to rest, it has been so, so long she has been around. Ash should have received notice about his summons, and to bring along them both.
@fxiled-fxithful @forgottenxsoldier
Knowing that Angela, their child, and their surrogate would be summoned soon fills Philza with ease. He was nervous about seeing Ash again after what happened last time, but Mother assured him that the dove wouldn't go against orders.
"Thank you," Philza answers, looking up at Mother, "I'll...wait here for them,"

There is a pause before Philza speaks again, turning to Mother, "What...happens now? Does the cycle keep going? Will there be more? What about you?"

The quiet aftermath, a man alone in his home. How it pained her to see that which has always been the outcome of the cycles beforehand. Letting him settle in as he took off his robes and sitting down, letting him see who has also stood here all along since he got here.
"Hello, Adam." She spoke, breaking the ice between them as she stood no too far off from the couch where he was resting himself. "I am sorry, for what has happened." While it might come as a shock, hearing those words, uttered out by someone like Sera. One should remember this wasn't his Sera.
@thefirstcreation Post battle.
After what felt like years, the battle with Mother was finally over. So that was it then, right? They won? The Cycle was complete? As much as Adam wanted to believe that was the case, he didn’t trust anything Father said. The man was tricky, had been since the very start.
The moment he could feel his body move was the moment he realized where he was. Home. Or rather, his room in Heaven. Adam didn’t have a home anymore as his own personal cycle had come to its own completion. Once again the First Man stands in Heaven, a now very unfamiliar place as he had lost everyone. Lute, Roo and Eve were all gone.
Just as empty as his home was, void of all patrons but himself, his soul felt the same. Seldom did he feel the pain of the wounds that had been inflicted on him as he steps with heavy feet, taking off his robes to reveal the black under shirt and pants he wore under, all stained with gold blood and tossed it to the side before sitting on his couch.
Here they were. The perfect cycle. If it was so perfect then why did it feel so hollow…?

"Somehow, I doubt he would. And if I get my wish, I won't be able to as well. This isn't my cycle after all. Never was, never will be. Good bye." Mother said with a reply, a small nod before she vanishes at the blink of an eye. Gone, from the spot she stood on before Rosie, leaving her with the little temporary gift.
Rosie waved a dismissive hand at Mother, her grin growing wider. "Oh, of course, of course! What kind of woman do you take me for? I can remember that little detail. Thank you, again, for the rings. It's much appreciated. I hope you have a safe trip back to Father. Oh! If you could, mind passing along an open invitation to him to join me for tea sometime? You're welcome to come too, if you'd like."

"Just remember, don't take them off until you have arrived back in Hell. I won't be able to do anything if that happens." Well, there was that. Now to at least hope it wasn't going to end in any bad way. She has fulfilled her little request, but that was now the limit of it.
Taking the rings, Rosie gave Mother a sharp grin spanning from ear to ear,"No worries, dear! I'll be sure to let Alastor know when I see him. Thank you for the rings. I'm quite excited to journey to the other side. To see Alastor's home town and see the stars in person. I can't wait!"
It was a shame that the rings would disappear after they took them off, but she was willing to live with that. If it meant that she got to enjoy a week with her beloved, she'd take it.

"Sadly, yes. That is the case." Mother said as fortunately, he was seemingly more at ease that they are unharmed. "I shall see to it that Ash brings them both here. Don't you worry about Ash, he wouldn't go against my orders."
Philza's stiffens at Ash's name. The two never got along, but Philza also knew that Mother wouldn't let him harm the child.
"So...someone else is holding my child," he whispers, nodding, "Can you tell me where I can find them? And summon my wife, please?"

"A disguise you say?" Mother wasn't fully on with the idea of the two of them going to the living world. But it was not of her concern. A little request as she offered was to be given. "I see."
With that, Mother conjures up two small rings, able to fit on both her and her husband's fingers. "Since that is your request, then take these. One they are on, they will disguise you two. But once they are off, they will disappear. Remember that." Mother's way of making sure they can't return other times after that. Wouldn't want to endanger someone.
"I am unsure if it is within your power to do so, but a while ago, Adam gave me a pass for my recently wed husband and I a portal pass of sorts to get to the living world for a week for our honeymoon. It wasn't until..before our battle together that my husband brought up a decent point. We have no human disguises. Well, he doesn't, at least. I have one I normally use when I venture to human cult meetings. Blending in is no hard task for me. Alastor..however.."
She looks up to Mother, "Is there a way I can give him an item, potion or be given something to have a human disguise that would last a week when we are well enough to enjoy our week together?"
