PLAYING LIVE ON THE NIGHT JUNGLE BROWN - Launching their debut album (which features Sampa The Great) the week before on Mr Bongo Records, Jungle Brown are one of the UK's finest new hip-hop acts, with a killer live show of MCs, DJ and sax. Going to be a special way to close our sixth birthday party! FEHDAH - Future-afro soul vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist, on the frontline of an emerging Irish hip-hop and electronic music scene. Her live show is 100% pure energy and will sound incredible down The Social basement. DEEMA – One of the brightest new talents in UK rap, Deema’s a regular on Balami Radio and has already been on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist. His strong early cuts have generated almost 100k streams and showcase his killer flow - we can’t wait to hear him rip up The Social basement for our birthday night! ERICA MANZOLI - Hugely talented 18 year old singer / songwriter who's just finished at the Brit School. This early showcase will be a chance to catch a star in the making and will be a fine way to kick off our sixth birthday!

PLAYING LIVE ON THE NIGHT ADMT - ADMT is charismatic 24 year old pop/r'n'b artist Adam Taylor from Doncaster, who started out as a drummer across various bands before developing his own artist project under the name ADMT. His debut single ‘Man Now’ is out at the end of September - come hear him preview it as he headlines this special edition of THE FIX. ARCHIE LANGLEY - Folk-pop artist Archie Langley is an exciting 23 year old singer songwriter from Portsmouth, based in London. He draws influences from the likes of Ben Howard, Coldplay and Bon Iver, and his 2018 singles 'Crossfire' and 'Beau' now have almost 100k plays on Spotify. TOM KING - Only 17 years old, Tom King is a hugely talent new artist with hints of Dean Lewis and Declan J Donovan, but with more soulful tones not dissimilar to those of Sam Smith. His debut single 'why are you here?' was released at the end of April and has clocked up over 75k plays on Spotify already.

PLAYING LIVE ON THE NIGHT THE NICKAJACK MEN - This Glasgow quartet write instantly hooky indie rock, with hints of Grandaddy and Mercury Rev and are an incredible live experience. This is going to sound fantastic down the basement of The Social. MARK McGOWAN - An incredible soulful voice and some fantastic rousing songs mean Mark McGowan is a name to keep an eye on in 2019. His 'Speakeasy' EP came out at the end of 2018 with its lead track having nearly 75k plays on Spotify already, and this show is a preview of his new music for this summer. SCARLETT RANDLE - Originally from the north-east of Scotland but now based in Glasgow, Scarlett Randle has had an incredible 12 months, playing for BBC Introducing and the city's amazing TRNSMT Festival. RACHEL BARROR - Originally from Dublin but now based in London, Rachel Barror is already an accomplished songwriter, working with many producers and songwriters including Ed Sheeran, Steve Dubs, and Ruadhri Cushnan, and  now launching her solo career. We can't wait to hear her open this special edition of THE FIX.

BENEDICT CORK - Brilliant new London-based singer songwriter with a beautiful soaring falsetto pop vocal and a knack for a killer warm ballad. Billboard recently featured him and he has already sold out shows all around the world to a fast-growing fanbase, which has already streamed his music over 500k times TALIWHOAH - 2018 single 'Love Cycle' has over 3m streams, and it's a prime example of this stunning new r'n'b artist, who was born in London but now residing in LA. She released a new EP 'Solar' at the end of March and we can't wait to hear cuts from it live at this special showcase. BETSIE GØLD  - Beth Thornton's new project Betsie Gold is an exciting slice of modern pop with old school songwriting. She played Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2018 and recently played support to the superstar that is Bon Jovi. CHINCHILLA - Debut single 'Elements' dropped in mid March and has nearly 100k plays on Spotify already. AMAHLA - Hackney-born singer, songwriter and musician Amahla taps into an era before her time to create vintage-inspired soul music. After releasing her debut single ‘Old Soul’, which received support from the likes of BBC 1Xtra and 6Music, Amahla was awarded the PRS Lynsey De Paul Prize for outstanding female songwriters. JULY JONES (STAGE TIME 9.30pm) – New UK pop talent with a big sound comparable to Halsey or Anne Marie. She’s already been tipped by Clash and played by Radio 1 and her headline set blends heavier synth-pop elements with downtempo acoustic cuts. VC PINES (8.45pm) – ‘Garden Of The Year’ was a 6Music radio playlist regular last year, and 2019 is shaping up to be a big year for the talented new singer-songwriter. His new single ‘Vixen’ is out just in time for this show and it’s his best track yet, a soulful cut that lodges in your head right from its first listen. JYLDA (8pm) – Already winning comparisons to St Vincent and Anna Calvi, new alt-pop act Jylda’s debut single ‘The Body’ is a magnificent launchpad for the year ahead. We’re excitied to hear her open THE FIX for the night and the year ahead.

TIGER LION - Lauded by The Line Of Best Fit for their brand new single which dropped in early October, Tiger Lion are a ethereal synth-pop act with hints of St Vincent, Dirty Projectors and Warpaint. HYYTS - Hotly-tipped new Dundee duo with a warm soulful synth-pop sound. Spotify recently added them to its Scotify playlist tipping the best new bands from up north, and this will be an early chance for London to catch an act on the rise. FRED FREDAS - Fast-rising London MC who's had support from GRM Daily and Sofar Sounds - this'll be a chance to hear the former Roundhouse Rising artist showcase why there's so much buzz. JOSH VINE - Emerging singer-songwriter whose new single 'Ghost' was just released this week. He's played Sofar Sounds in recent weeks and we're looking forward to hear him open up our night of new music.

This'll be a rowdy one down The Social basement. SHARKY - We're big fans of this new act's early singles, with a soaring hypnotic voice atop beautiful production from Speakman Sound, and we can't wait to hear it it transformed to thrilling live show. Support already from Line Of Best Fit, Radio X and the excellent Tru Thoughts radio show. SEI MAI - Four-piece indie rock band, formed in May 2018. Hailing from South London, their sound blends melodic post-rock guitars and ambient synths with raw and expressive vocals. The band's names loosely translates from Cantonese to 'Little Poem'.
RAYNES - Signed to a major label publisher now and set for a big 2019, this Transatlantic trio have a series of exciting early indie-folk cuts.

We’re really excited to have him headline our second edition of THE FIX for 2018, as this artist is set to have a huge 12 months. TURAN A gifted new singer-songwriter, Turan’s brooding emotional guitar soundscapes have hints of Ghostpoet and Massive Attack and his early songs already sound built for big stages. This will feel very special indeed down in The Social basement. CHARLI TAFT Bursting onto the pop world last year with a brilliant first single ‘Love Like You’ (which quickly became Radio 1’s Tune Of The Week) Charli Taft is also a successful songwriter penning huge hits for K-Pop acts like Girls Generation. We can’t wait to hear new music after her exiting debut cut. SPHYNX  Hailing from Austin, Texas, Sphynx are an exciting new synth-pop band with a thrilling live sound.
