You know, it always makes me so sad when Alastor whump fics talk about how Alastor's tail flashes white as a warning for a herd that doesn't exist

Like...deer are pretty social creatures. And Al has nobody.

Well, now I need someone to write me a little fic where his coat gets temporarily disintegrated during an altercation with Vox and leaves his tail on full display while he gets a new one tailored. And in the few days of time that this takes, the hotel crew starts picking up on the emotional signaling of the tail enough to start surreptitiously backing him up whenever they see it flash, which frequently happens to be when Vox is doing his best to gloat about fucking up Alastor's wardrobe. Cue slow dawning that Alastor has actual emotions about his and Vox's falling out, and subsequent found family vibes.

This summer I've tried to make a human Mordecai Heller cosplay. Here's a little bit of photos I made in this look.
