There is so easy to fall in love with Andreil cause their story is so unique and

I adore that they don't have to say anything to each other because they are aware that both love one another.

We all know that they're soulmates.

So there’s this part in The Kings Men where Aaron and Neil are in the car coming back from there counseling session it’s Betsy. And so on the way back Aaron is like “hey I didn’t tell her anything about you.” And Neil actually thought that Aaron wasn’t talking to him. They were the only two in the car

look i know im hardly the first person to point this out but–

it’s basically canon that when Neil and Andrew sleep together, Andrew’s back is against the wall

while Neil had to get used to sleeping with his back against the room because of his contacts, he still prefers to face it and finds the warm weight behind him comforting

(everyone remembers the time when Kevin entered the dorm late at night, Neil woke up and reached for a gun in his sleep-hazed panic, hit Andrew’s arm, and ended up causing Andrew to fling him off of the bed)

otherwise they’re spooning without the cuddling??

Neil almost always wakes up super early and gets out of bed before Andrew for a run

he’s managed to sneak out with minimal movement and Andrew usually sleeps through it

except one morning he wakes up and Andrew’s arm is wrapped around his waist, his nose buried in Neil’s hair

(Andrew won’t admit it, but he loves the scent of the shampoo Neil got when his hair-dye-safe stuff ran out)

its really nice

but Neil’s kind of worried because he really, really needs to pee and waking up Andrew is not an option??

Neil tried, Andrew was just so unresponsive to any attempts to call his name and Neil did not feel like being punched so early in the morning

he’s just laying there, freaking out, and trying to hold it in until Andrew wakes himself up

eventually Andrew does; Neil can feel his breathing stop for the brief moment that he’s trying to take in the body next to him

Neil can also feel Andrew relax once he does

but Andrew’s arm just tightens around Neil 

(which did not help the need-to-pee thing)

Andrew starts pressing kisses and lightly biting Neil’s neck and he’s so???

Neil almost wants to stay but he seriously needs to relieve his bladder

“Andrew, I need to go.”

the next bite is a bit harder and Neil has to try not to moan

“you don’t need to run anymore.”

“no, I need to take a piss.”

Andrew sighs, but he also sort-of shoves Neil out of the bed

when Neil returns he makes for the kitchen because he needs some morning caffeine

“where’re you going?” Andrew asks, not really saying that he wants Neil back in bed

(Neil knows anyways)

Neil just smiles sleepily at him and climbs into the bed

Andrew turns him around so they’re facing

they make out under the covers until Kevin comes to wake them up for morning practice

of the foxes, it’s just aaron, andrew, nicky, and neil at the trial

after it’s over they go back to the columbia house

later that night aaron wakes up from a nightmare

he decides to go downstairs to make hot chocolate

(he started drinking it at his sessions with andrew and bee)

when aaron turns on the kitchen light, he finds neil asleep on the couch

because neil’s a light sleeper, he wakes up

aaron says “sorry, didn’t know you were down here”

neil says “it’s fine”

it’s what neil says to everything, but neil’s voice sounds… off

neil looks like he just woke up from a nightmare, too

aaron makes a 2nd mug of hot chocolate

neil takes it, but he gives aaron a weird look

aaron thinks it’s because he typically ignores neil’s existence

it’s rlly because andrew drinks hot hocolate after his nightmares, too

they don’t say it, but they know they’re awake for the same reason

and they both know they’re not going to fall back asleep

so… aaron & neil end up talking

it starts with aaron asking why neil’s on the couch instead of in andrew’s room

and neil saying he’s giving andrew space

neil doesn’t say that it’s 1 of andrew’s bad days

that on bad days, andrew can’t stand touch

that on rlly bad days, andrew can’t stand sharing a bed

that hours after the trial, andrew’s still lost in his memories

neil doesn’t say it, but aaron gets it anyway

aaron says he’s sorry for what he said back at the cabin

he says he deserved to get punched

neil agrees

aaron says he doesn’t regret it, though, even if neil hates him for it

because neil’s reaction said more about his & andrew’s relationship than either of them would have ever said out loud

neil: “it was a test?”

aaron: “something like that”

then aaron says “i still don’t get it, though… how after everything, he’s ok with you”

neil doesn’t respond right away, because he doesn’t like talking to the foxes about his relationship with andrew

because it’s their’s, his and andrew’s, and that’s it

and this isn’t matt or dan or allison, this is aaron, who neil doesn’t like

but then… this is aaron looking out for andrew

and neil knows andrew doesn’t want / need anyone’s protection

but neil thinks andrew deserves to have a family that looks out for him

(because andrew’s been looking out for aaron & nicky for years)

finally neil says “i asked andrew that, too”

aaron: “yeah?”

neil: “he said it’s because i listen when he says no”

aaron’s quiet for a second and then he says “that’s it?”

neil: “i ask, and i respect his answer”

neil: “to andrew, that’s everything”

aaron thinks about that for a minute

then he says “ok”

he doesn’t say thank you

or i’m sorry

or any of the other 10000 things he’s thinking

but when they’re back at practice two days later and jack says something terrible about neil & andrew, aaron punches him before either of them can
