Question: what are some of your fav whumpy voicelines?

okay I can't quite go through all of them because I will simply pass away!!! the ones I have on hand right now are all Strohl clips which i put embedded at the bottom (sue me, his VA literally put his whole heart and soul into some of these) but outside of that:

Noctis in FFXV has a sudden-psychic-migraine line that DESTROYS me

but there's some absolute BANGERS from the Persona awakenings (oh my gosh if you want whump please get into persona, I won't spoil anything for you but the LINES my GOD)

i also recommend running through Genshin Impact, they've got all the voice lines for every hit taken/impact grunt Just Right There In Game which is wonderful

HOWEVER if you're here for Leon Strohl, I lifted some from this video as well as this no commentary playthrough and combined it into this quick edit because I'm only allowed one video per post, apparently:
