A New Chapter For
The Eclectical Digital Tiki
After a brief but vibrant resurgence, I'm stepping back from daily posts on The Eclectical Digital Tiki. Though the frequency of updates will decrease, the passion for sharing retro treasures and creative inspirations remains unwavering. This shift allows for a more focused exploration of original art, innovative engineering ideas, and the occasional reflection on the world around us.
Ten years of pouring heart and soul into this Tumblr haven, with a short but revitalizing pause, have led to this moment. Almost 16,000 followers have joined this eclectic journey since 2014, and their continued support fuels the creative fire. The blog's essence stays true to its roots in vintage design, mid-century insights, and retro-futurism, but now with an evolved perspective.
The Space Coast's serene beauty and the freedom from grinding daily engineering responsibilities have reignited my artistic spark. Expect sporadic yet meaningful posts that blend the nostalgic with the contemporary, including art instruction and ideas, original art and comics, and, of course, eclectic random musings. Fair warning, however, with the current state of collapse in the United States, some posts may touch on politics, reflecting the tumultuous times we live in.
The Eclectical Digital Tiki will continue to celebrate the aesthetic and artistry of decades past while embracing the present and gazing into the future. Stay tuned for fresh content, new twists on old favorites, and a dash of creativity inspired by the past and shaped by the present.
