Qwel just banned selfcest in the Blushcrunch Studios discord server and Dandy's World as a whole. Shipping a toon with any version of themselves, skin or twisted, is not allowed!

It's a new rule on the server, go check for proof. Just read the one about shipping. An example of selfcest is Rodger x Twisted Rodger. That's no longer allowed. Discussing it in game or in the discord will apparently result in an instant ban.

I'm quite happy about this change, honestly. It was getting far too out of hand! Gross edits, aus, art. It was normalised for whatever reason, and I'm glad Qwel spoke up on it. It's her characters, so she has a right to say what people are allowed to do. You wouldn't want your oc being shipped with a dead version of themselves, would you?

THE BASSIE REPLACEMENT THEORY SUMMARY.

Bassie was going to be replaced by Cocoa, hence why Cocoa has so many plushies, even if she's a non-main. Bassie freaks out over thinking mains can be replaced, and she clearly has a dislike towards Cocoa. She's even shocked that you want to buy her license.

Everyone was busy buying Cocoa's merch, favouring her, and Bassie was slowly spiralling into thinking she wasn't worth it, which may've been the cause of her twisted.

As she did, she frantically begged for someone to notice her, writing on the walls, even finding small hints in her own poster, "Together," being shortened to "Get her."

I think she must've spiralled to the point that she's become delusional. We can see it in her interactions with Bobette and Astro.

We can even see a letter where Delilah mentions she doesn't think Bassie is good enough to be 'main' status.

It reads:

"I don't think she should be the "main" class Toon."

"After evaluations, it's clear she is too reliant on fellowship of Toon's she is close with. She is dependent, not independent."

"Reconsider"

"I know that this is very last moment. I'm unaware she could handle the public pressure in the key position you've placed her."

Alongside the fact that Cocoa is the first non-main to have canon merch, her interactions with Bassie can also shine some light on their relationship. Bassie doesn't like Cocoa at all because she knows that she was bound to be replaced.

Also. Twisted Bassie is still conscious. If you split her face, you can see one side is active and twisted, while the other is sad, weakened, and in pain. This may be due to the fact she wasn't meant to be a main, and she can't even handle her twisted transformation due to the fact her body simply can't manage the amount of ichor. Her conscious side even seems upset and sorry when attacking. Her audible noises are crying and whimpering. She CRIES when she loses sight of a toon. She's in constant pain.

Right, so. As we've all come to realize that most of this godforsaken fandom decided to make Raj some innocent guy that needs to be constantly protected? Have we all forgotten something that I'd say is pretty important?

Raj, has, and will WILLINGLY, square up to a fucking CASSOWARY.

May I remind you he was even putting up a bloody good fight, till the oversized tactical turkey blinded him with his fucking jersey.

Then, after taking a few good hits from an overseasoned chicken, he was THROWN DOWN A CLIFF AND LANDED ON HIS HEAD.

Raj may be the living embodiment of 'Fuck around and find out' at this rate. Not only did he fight and survive a cassowary encounter, survive being launched down a cliff, and landing on his head, but he also managed to walk it off afterwards.

This also applies to Wayne!

Stop babying Raj and Wayne when they have the strength to take on THAT. They lost, sure, but not everyone can square up to Satan's livestock and get thrown down a cliff. They even had enough strength to haul their sorry asses back to the challenge afterwards.

They aren't defenseless, and they definitely don't need to be protected. If someone pisses them off enough, they have every right and CAN throw hands.

TW: Mention of Experiments on Toons. (ASTRO LORE???)

I have a theory that Astro was the first one to turn, and not Dandy.

As we know, Ichor is 'blood of the gods'. Now, think how Ichor has a part of manipulating and evolving limbs to look more horrifying when the toons become twisted.

It's explained that Astro hides his extra set of arms, most likely to hide them from children and other toons, though the question is WHY?

I think that too much Ichor was used in creating Astro, hence his mutation. My reasoning is that, clearly, it wasn't intentional for him to have 4 arms if the toon handlers knew it'd be scary for the children.

Now, why do I think he turned before Dandy?

Astro is canonically close to Dandy, and Dandy clearly has a part in toons becoming twisted, seeing as he becomes aggressive you don't buy from his shop. He is also the only character currently who is able to switch between Twisted and Toon forms so casually.

Clearly, he's got some knowledge. How would he get this knowledge, though. Experiments, possibly. And who better to experiment on than the one toon with the most ichor in his system, let alone one he is easily able to manipulate, seeing as they're friends.

Now, this IS just a theory, and not canon whatsoever, so please don't instantly assume this is canon or harass other people's theories.

The idea of Dandy experimenting on Astro for knowledge about Ichor is a STRETCH, I will admit. It's interesting, nonetheless.
