this violin is old and unusable; its seams are cracking, the pegs don’t fit, there is no way without serious expense that this instrument could possibly be played again. never again will it be able to make the beautiful music it was created to make. this weekend my sister and I made this violin into a work of art, because though it will never make music again it is still just as beautiful as it was when it did.

Conversation
stupid things the orchestral instruments do when they're performing
violins: they do this dramatic swaying thing and sometimes the performers' faces look like they caught a whiff of something that isn't good or bad but it's iffy as hell
violas: they drop their instrument real low, like almost so that the scroll is hitting their knee, and they almost hop out of their chairs. it's kind of intimidating
cellos: classic cello headbang
basses: that head thing djs at discos do
oboe: my god they're like the violins on steroids. they move all over the place and their expression just becomes more and more pained as their solo goes on. don't even get me STARTED on the eyebrows
clarinet: like the oboe but slightly more chilled out
flute: they lean forward and bob their heads as they AGGRESSIVELY spit into their instruments
bassoon: sometimes they close their eyes and start kind of dancing really passionately with their instrument and it's kind of uncomfortable to watch
the entire brass section: they sit fairly still compared to the other instruments, but they're still guilty of excessive eyebrow raising and lots of disapproving squints as they realize they're playing out of tune and everybody heard it
percussion: they get really excited before they get to play their one note like they'll hop around and start dancing and bobbing their head before their triangle part and it's adorable
piano: headbanging, head bobbing, swaying, pained expression (usually no eyebrow raises, though), and they sometimes drop their heads so that it looks like they're sniffing the keys

* holding music *
your words dive into my soul creating a divine melody one in which I can’t let go feeding, saving adding and creating a deeper daily desire
the stirring drips in between the subtle cracks allowing me to wrap myself around every note grasping onto the the refuge which coats the pleading portions like a luscious honey which takes time to cover the desired delicacies having the patience to savor every unheard note
I cling to the song holding onto the confirmations which have been brought forth the beginning mysteries, which blend effortlessly into the emotional tempos the highs and lows all of which has continued into a musical composition in which my heart longs everyday
music which is difficult to interpret into confined lyrics yet, impossible to remain silent as it continuously stirs, moves, and dances into the deepest portions

I fell in love with the way fairies dance enchanted, with the moonlight shining upon their crystal coves, as the swirling tides of their shimmering forms twinkle and glitter, and the way the spindled gold of those translucent wings flutter behind the marbled curves of their backs, softly gliding across a sea of air as a delightful sound echoes in the glowing fare. I fell in love with the fairies in tales of old and new, in carved glyphs and painted seals … I fell in love with the wishes they could grant - I fell in love with the idea of my wishes coming true …

But Here
Running and twisting, In a sea of people, Nowhere to go, But here
Smiling but drowning, From the heated air, Nowhere to hide, But here
Living and dying, In secluded places, Nowhere to run, But here.

City of light
Damn you for making me laugh Damn you for making me feel like there is a place for me in this cruel world Damn you for making me fall for you so hard
I was drowning in the darkness Before you decided to show up and be a god damn light Leading me slowly to a door Step by step Once I opened the door it was like the god damn city of light
The darkness was gone and all I could see was the rainbows after the storm The light that made your eyes shine and beauty show I could see us laying in each other’s arms talking about our future I could see myself clearly And I was happy
Then I woke up one day and I couldn’t see anything The darkness was back Someone is sitting on my chest Slowly making cuts in my heart The pain grows for everyday that pass I can’t breathe I am falling apart I am drowning
In the darkness, there was a slight light far away Too weak to stand up, only enough to crawl Meter for meter Feels like an eternity before I reach the light The light was from a keyhole to a door that was locked Slowly rising from the floor Slowly gaining energy to stumble to my knees Just enough to peek through the keyhole There you are The light in my darkness But there was a change in you The way you dressed The way you pronounced my name And the way you say ‘I love you’
Seeing you made me think that I would be okay But instead I see him sneaking his arms around you You smile and giggle as you turn around in his arms My knees grow weaker I fall and the light grow smaller I look at my hands The blade that cut my wrists so deeply I look at my skin that no longer feels like my own I touch my face and I no longer recognize my own features And in my last breathe I imagine you The light is completely gone and I scream your name Hoping you would come back and guide the way Because I am lost and in pain I relive the moments where I saw you The way you smile and the way you made my heart would skip a beat I remember how painful it felt to love you Every day I prayed that it would go away And it never did I see the way he would hold you in his arms You resting on his chest listening to his heartbeat The way he would complement your body instead of your mind How he would never show you off to his friends And the way he would ignore you because he was sick off you I felt sorry for you in the start but then I remembered that you left me Knowing you were the only light My support to keep on walking even when they brought me to my knees You left and I felt sorry for you Because even in my last breathe I would let you be my last thought I would finally get to see the light again By the heaven gates I would look down at you and light up your path like you once did for me Because that what you do for the ones you love R.A

I could write a whole book about my bad mental health, but I don’t think that would be very helpful so I’m just gonna tell you this: you are going to have good days, and you are going to have bad days. So take the most from your good days; laugh till your stomach hurts, make silly jokes and be kind to strangers. It will be a remainder for your bad days that you still have a chance on happiness.

I’ve always loved you, and when you love someone, you love the whole person, just as he or she is, and not as you would like them to be.

My heart is drumming in my chest so hard it aches, but it’s the good kind of ache, like the feeling you get on the first real day of autumn, when the air is crisp and the leaves are all flaring at the edges and the wind smells just vaguely of smoke - like the end and the beginning of something all at once.
